The vets are great. That being said, the staff will lie to your face about the stupidest things. I recently had ordered medicine for my cat and for the second time they failed to call me when it arrived. I left voice mail requesting info and no one returned that call. After finally speaking to an office rep I asked why no one ever calls when the meds arrive and was told that they had called and my phone had no voice mail. Obviously I have voice mail and receive messages everyday. So I go to pick up the meds and ask the young lady to call me while I am standing there. She does and of course it rings, then goes to voice mail. I am moving my cats records to another vet because I really resent being lied to. Hopefully this new vets staff won' t be telephone challenged.

I used to work there. Dr. Collier is a very good vet but if you just need routine things done like shots, you can get it done a lot cheaper somewhere else. Dr. Pardon will run all kinds of blood tests on a dog that only has worms. He kinda feeds off the fear of people who treat their pet as a member of the family. I used to feel like I worked at a mechanic shop where you take your car in for an oil change and when you come back to get your car, they have rebuilt the motor, put new tires on it and did an alignment and you have to pay for the outrageous bill because it has already been done. They do excellent work but it's overkill in most cases. Dr. Pardon had a set amount that he wanted each patient to at least meet or exceed. Years ago, that amount was over $100. It's probably closer to $200 now.

Excellent pet hospital. I recently move to Georgia and wish I still had Dr. Pardon as my cats' vet. He is a great dr. and the staff is terrific. In fact, I have driven back to Columbia twice for a second opinion and to get Dr. Pardon to do oral surgery on another one of my cats. They were my vets for 22 years and I was always impressed by their level of service. P.R.

AVOID THIS PLACE. I have NEVER dealt with such a rude, hard-headed vet before, he followed me outside arguing with me because one of HIS staff made a mistake by saying a cat could be boarded when it couldn't and I had to come back to the place and pick him up. This was not only after I had dropped him off, but also after I had called the week before to make certain it would be ok. So obviously they have no idea what they're doing. He was hateful and rude and if one of his staff had acted that way they would have been fired. I had considered taking all my cats there instead of driving to Lewisburg to my old vet but there's no chance in heck that will be happening.

Had dog that required surgery, quoted $1100 and would not allow to pay out. Told to take the dog somewhere else or return the dog to the rescue if they could not pay. Did not seem to care about the dog, only the money. Took the dog to another vet and had the procedure done for less than $100 and it was done the same day. Uncaring...only cares about money...not the pets. Prices are ridiculous. Stay away!

Eastside Animal Hospital is a good veterinarian clinic. The staff are very attentive to the animals & seem to really love them. My dog had to have surgery & I feel extremely comfortable having the procedure at this clinic.
