If I could give this place a complete ZERO I would! I will NEVER buy another car or have any service done at Downtown Nashville Nissan! They completely screwed me over on a recall repair that they refused to make right. They also falsified my repair records.... stating that I had requested repairs in the past, when I absolutely did not. They even had the nerve to call me to buy a new car while my car was being repaired, and "new" problems kept being found. That makes me wonder if they were damaging my car just to get me to buy a new one, because of large repair bills.

In the past, they claimed to have fixed a problem that I asked them to repair. They called to say the repair had been completed, when I came back to get my car, NOTHING had been touched.

The service department employees are extremely rude and not very knowledgeable.... this is definitely evident from reading the other reviews on this site. They make up answers just to get you to go away, but the answers are ALWAYS in their favor. I know that's part of a car dealership, but this place definitely goes a step further to make the experience even worse.

Do yourself and a favor and skip this dealership. They don't back up their service repairs; you will be spammed with their constant e-mails, even after you request to be removed from their list over and over; and get sketchy service when you bring your car in for repairs. There are plenty of other nissan dealerships in Nashville, so save yourself the trouble and go to those!

It was Sat March 10, and the saleswoman was an African American woman, she was not the problem however that caused her to have a anxiety attack. It was the bald headed guy in the office and another one. They stayed late 9:30 being hateful to my daughter and laughing at her because she was having a anxiety attack. The bald headed guy told my son-in-law why was he so upset, this guy has to be a joke. They just plain lied to them and had no clue what they were doing. The saleswoman was suppose to call my daughter back the next day and never did, another strike against your dealership. She even said to them she could not believe they had treated her and her husband so bad. But she will probably change her story also just like the 2 jerks, one was bald I believe and one was a young guy who thought he knew everything and knew nothing. She told them up front she had no car to trade in and no down payment. The 2 idiots in the office kept asking her did you say you had a trade-in, she kept telling them NO! The salesperson in the mean time is saying yeah we will help you, not!! The 3 could not get there stuff straight period. They let them take the car home and they showed it to us. My husband didn't say much. They went back to the dealership and got there around 6:30pm. My daughter said 3 people went in front of them even though they should have been next. They made them wait 3 long hours, then finally told them there is no way they could deal with them unless they had someone to co-sign. That's a joke period, my daughter is a high paid Team Leader with several people under her. She went the next day and got her a terrific car where I sent her. It was a place with great reviews, not like yours which are not so good. She got her a gorgeous car that's loaded with no one to co-sign. Your people are clueless and don't know what they are doing. I will make sure that all my friends, facebook, twitter, youtube and family & neighbors not go to your place. I sent my daughter to the really great saleswoman and dealership. Because of your idiots you lost a sale and maybe more. It's too late now!! You need to fire these people that were working March (Sat) 10th. day & night late. The one who owns this business evidentally doesn't care. People if you want to get the shaft go to them its your mistake not mine!!

I would like to spread the word about Downtown Nashville Nissan on Vantage Way. This dealership did something that another Nissan dealership wouldn't make right and turned the situation into an excellent purchasing experience. A special thanks to Trent Thompson and Jeremy (last name unknown)! You guys are awesome! If anyone wants a new Nissan, please go to Downtown Nissan first and foremost... These guys will really go above and beyond to make the second most expensive purchase in your life an absolute joy!

Bought a Maxima awhile back at the MetroCenter location. First, all Maximas with the 'technology package' had the factory price sticker removed and they would not explain why. The Sales Manager insisted I sign a piece of paper to indicate I was negotiating in good faith and intended to buy that day (?). When he came back with his price, it was written on a scrap of paper with no break-down of what-cost-what or what was included. The guy who they send you to for document signing tried to force me to agree to a service package (expensive rip-off). I had to say no five times and start to get up to leave before he would take 'no' for an answer. I should have walked, but bought the car. A week or so later I get loan payment info from CapitolOne. I had asked for Nissan financing, and the stuff I signed said Downtown Nashville Nissan on it. They sold my loan to CapitolOne for a kickback. Also, three times during the sale salespeople told us 'If you get a survey from Nissan don't say anything bad. If you have a problem come to us.' Well they got one bad survey I know of, and probably a lot more. As far as I know, all the people I dealt with are now gone, but behavior like that comes down from the top. Ultimately, I probably got a fair price on the car, but I could have saved on the financing. The Maxima has been great. I have used the Service Department for regular maintenance and extras like window visors, and have had no problems, except I always feel the need to tell them that I would never buy a car there again.

The real test of any business is service after the sale. Any dealership can talk about how special you are before the sale but what about after. Will they return your calls and show any concern what so ever? Can you call and talk to the owner without run arounds? I have had a few issues with an used vehicle that I recently purchased there and Downtown Nashville Nissan is working with me to make sure everyrhing represented before the sale is carried through and I am a satisfied customer.
Thank you Shane for your concern.

nissan at downtown nashville, were not very helpful, or at all honest. They kept me and my family for 8 hours the first day and told us to come again tommarow at an appointed time. So when i came at the time the next day, they did the same thing by holding up my family and me and just wasted our time. They didnt even do any serious buisness with purchasing a car they had just acted like they really didnt care about selling a car to us and gave us waiting periods and thats it. (just checking in the office coming back out and saying hold up another hour or so?)

I recently left a very poor review for Downtown Nashville Nissan regarding the service I received on my 2001 Nissan Xterra. I would like now to apologize to Downtown Nissan, and its employees. While my initial visit was unsatisfactory, I never took the initiative to contact their service manager to voice my issues. I just assumed they would do nothing about my concerns, and it would be a waste of my time.I was wrong.

Mark (or Marc I'm not sure which spelling), the service manager, contacted me as a routine service quality check. It was at that time when I voiced my concerns, (unfortunately after I had already left a scathing review on this site). He could not have been more helpful and understanding of my problem. Without going into the boring repair details, my vehicle had been in for two visits, amounting to over $1400.00 of work. The first visit accounted for $233 of that total. Upon hearing my whole story, Mark very generously offered to refund my first $233 visit. This was COMPLETELY unexpected. They really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy and the situation was made right. Kudos to Mark and his team for doing business the right way. You've changed my opinion about your business, not so much because of the money, but your persistence in making it right. Thank you.

I would highly recommend their service team. I'll be back.

First they tried to trick us after promising a 2.9% interest rate, then trying to have us sign for a 6.9% interest rate, hoping we wouln't notice.

Next my wife's car didn't come with floor mats. We just bought two $20,000 cars and they were too cheap to give us floor mats.

Went in for the first time for a standard oil/filter change for my Infiniti Coupe. The price that was quoted by the technician, J.R., was $30, which was normal. However, when the service was completed, there were "parts" charges, "fees", and my bill ended up being $80. I was in a hurry and in no mood to dispute.

I want to thank you for saving me money and future wasted time since I was planning on purchasing a 370z after speaking to one of the salespersons Doug. This made my decision easier, much appreciated.

I recently purchased a 2010 Altima from Downtown Nashville Nissan and did not have any of the experiences other people stated here. My experience was great! From the minute I came into the dealership I was greeted warmly and my salesperson was very nice, explaining every detail of the purchase to me. I was in and out of finance in a reasonable amount of time and I absolutely love my new Altima. I think Downtown Nashville Nissan is a great place to buy a car!

I've bought many cars in my lifetime, but I must say that dealing with Downtown Nashville Nissan has been the most positive experience I've EVER had! From the time I walked into the dealership and even still, customer service seems to be their main focus. I bought a 2008 Nissan Altima in April of this year and I've been amazed at every aspect of my new car buying experience. The sales team is very knowledgeable and professional as is the service department. I can't say enough good things about this dealership but I can say that they have a customer for life! They are world class! Thanks Nashville Nissan for such a positive experience!!!

Hippodrome Nissan is where I bought my last Nissan. Their lot is huge with a ton of cars. They sell only the best used cars which they have thoroughly inspected and ran through tests before putting on the lot. Their used cars run as well as the new ones and they have not been in any accidents. They also sell brand new cars and other models besides Nissans. The salespeople are friendly and helpful and you can test drive anything that interests you without signing your life away.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Aside from the obvious lack of professionalism, they are dishonest, misleading and unethical in their practices. They have no respect for the customer nor the customer's time. The sales staff walk around as though they have no aim in mind. Not a very motivated bunch. It should be noted that we attempted to resolve our dispute quickly by contacting the general manager. After 10 days, we have not be granted the courtesy of his reply.

Pros: Service department was very helpful and upfront.

Cons: sales staff and management provide little to no service, only rhetoric.

I am very disappointed in the customer service and lack of workmanship at this facility. I made an appointment to get my 02 sensor replaced. The serviceman told me that it would take him from about 7:30 to 10:30 am. I dropped it off as he asked and at 10 am I had no phone call, called them and they acted annoyed that I thought it would be done around 10:30 and would give me absolutely no timetable. They then told me that the 02 sensor would cost over 400 dollars to replace. i asked for an oil change several times and they quoted me 33.95. Two and a half hours later, I go to pick up my car. My bill is 602.00 (included 'misc feees" and labor costs). I look on my bill and there is no oil change. My serviceman states, "oh i guess I forgot to do that" He makes no offer to appease so I have to ask if he can still do it and he says "well, its going to take at least an hour" and blankly stares at me. At that point, i said forget it (since Id already was 5 hours late to work), paid, and vowed never to do anymore business with this disrespectful company and its servicemen. They need to learn a thing or two about customer service.
