I absolutely HATE Bradley Book Co. Yes, they are cheaper, BUT you pay for what you get. I bought one book that was falling apart by the middle of the semester and I take good care of my books. Just about every book that I bought from there was in rough shape. When I tried to sell them back, they weren't being accepted by the UTM Bookstore because of the condition! Also, the service is horrible. I personally think they are really rude.

I found Bradley Book Co. to be wonderful. They are always better priced than the UTM Bookstore. They carry a large selection of used textbooks. The books are always of great quality. I've never received a bad book. My instructor went to a new edition but told the class that an older edition would be fine. I checked with the UTM Bookstore but they didn't have it. They could order me one, but at a price. I checked at Bradley's and not only did they have it, but they sold it at a great price. I've ordered books online with success, but they have to be ordered early and you have to hope you get a good book from a reputable source. It's like rolling the dice. Everyone knows online book buying is the cheapest. Great if you're looking for cheap books. Bradley Book Co. has a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They guarantee their low price, and pull your textbooks for you. GREAT SERVICE! They have even let me pre-pay on textbooks that my instructor had changed his mind on, to insure I received a book when they arrived.

Bradley Book Co. is awesome. I highly recommend them.

My husband recently graduated from UTM, and up until his last two semesters we bought all of his textbooks at Bradley Book Company. This was because their only competition was the UTM bookstore, and their prices are even higher than Bradley's. Every book that Bradley Book Company sells is outrageously priced. They do buy back your textbooks at the end of the semester, but only if they're in great condition, and even then you cannot expect to be paid even a small fraction of what you gave for them. It finally dawned on me to look for his textbooks online. To my surprise, I was able to find every book that he needed. All were priced significantly lower than Bradley Book Company, even some $100-$200 books for less than $10-$20. Some books can be found at Alibris or Ebay for $1-$2. Add in the cost of express shipping and you've still saved quite a bit of cash. You can even avoid the express shipping charges...just get in touch with your professors as soon as you've registered for classes (don't wait until the first day of class) and ask them for the ISBN numbers of the required textbooks. This way you can order online and still have plenty of time for them to arrive, without having to pay for overnight shipping. Bradley Book Company does have a friendly staff, but it's nuts to pay their prices when you can easily save $100-$200 per semester by buying online.
