Their Promotions are a RIP-OFF and furn. are reconds.

Bought several pcs. of furniture there. Got one pc. wrong when shipped. The promotion was gift cards when turn in your gas receipts ea, mo. Got about two months worth, Then the coupon Co. went bankrupt. Of course Knox Wholesale furn. said they weren't liable for their promotion. So That was a rip. I think they ought to back up their promotions. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEIR FURNITURE IS RECONDITIONS..

Don't buy from this terrible Store

We purchased a living room suite, bedroom suite and various other pieces in September. It's now the end of November and we're still waiting for 50% of it. Pieces were damaged, pieces were missing. Customer Service is nonexistent (after they get you to buy) and I'm terribly disappointed in Tim Taylor who says he will call with answers but never does. Their commercial says "Don't buy from catalogs and wait 3 weeks for delivery"...I say, NO, buy from these idiots and wait months. Go to Rooms to Go or Brown Squirrel and save yourself some heartburn. KB

screaming TYV commercials

Terrible TV commercials SHOUT at us. a I HATE their commercials for screaming at us (I usually mute it). They could learn from Rooms Are Us who do quality commericals in a decent tone of voice. Give your public a break, KWF

We had a great exp. at this store we just moved to Tn. and were blown away buy the selection and the prices the salesperson was from Michigan were we just moved from and was very nice.

Just terrible, don't buy from this 0 credibility business.

Terrible customer service, irresponsible sales man, won't purchase again from this place. I purchased a sofa from Knoxville Wholesale Furniture in April and added delivery service. After they delivered the sofa to my home, I checked and realized it was not the one that I ordered, they replaced one piece with a refurbished one. There were three large stitches on it and when I went back to store to solve this problem, they said it was the only set, so should be the one. However, not long after, I saw them pull another set out to sell... The sales person also asked me to purchase a five year care plan for additional 200 dollars, I purchased and reported the large stitches, the salesman said a customer service person would contact me in five days, I waited for two weeks, no one came, no one called, so I went back to store again and talked to the manager, he promised he would send someone over to take a look at the sofa, that never happened.Also, they were trying to trick the consumers by providing wrong address to financial company. Since they offered 0% finance for one year, I went for this offer, but didn't get bill from American General Finance two months after the sofa was delivered, I got worried, went to the finance company myself. They pulled out the information and the address was wrong. I wrote down the address myself for Knoxville Wholesale Furniture very clearly in print, and according to that address, they delivered the sofa, how come they gave the finance company a wrong one? Some part of it looks like it's deliberately wrong. I couldn't bother to figure out what's wrong and paid off the bill. I will never purchase from this store again. And I recommend you not to if you want to save money and avoid trouble. They are not that cheap and they have absolutely no credibility and no custom service what so ever. The salesman took your money and never give sh*t about you after. I learned my lesson through a hard way.

BAD!!!

Terrible Service, Terrible customer care, terrible management,Terrible repair representative. After several calls and complaints that the sofa I purchased for $1200.00 was missing some padding in the center section, by the way this is a new couch, I still to this day after 3 weeks can not sit on it because it drops 6 inches to the floor. Repairman said looks to be defective padding but then he left, still unresolved. The store will not return my calls either. Not even an apology. Buyer beware and then get some professional legal help on resolving any issues or disputes with them.

Difficulties throughout process

I purchased several items of furniture from this business and the only good thing I can say is the prices are reasonable. I have spent over 3 months trying to get my furniture. It has taken three deliveries to get my items because of inventory count issues and one time they forgot to load an item, some delivery staff were rude and did not appear to know how to assemble furniture resulting in damage to the furniture, salesperson was very defensive when I requested assistance with the problems I experienced, still after three weeks I am trying to get business to touch up a piece that arrived with a defect, and today as a last straw I called after three weeks of trying to get an appointment for the repair to have my salesman tell me he would "fix it" and then just hang up on me.

I have never had this much difficulty purchasing items and certainly have rarely been treated with such disdain. I would not recommend doing business with this company trust me, you do not need the hassle.

Richard was problematic

They don't deliver when scheduled and attempt to deliver on unscheduled days. They don't care what damage they do to your home when delivering and hire unprofessional day laborers. Friends and neighbors experienced the same problems with them. They delivered damaged merchandise and refused to discuss repairs or replacements. Good prices? Yes, but you get what you pay for. Check their track record with the BBB.

Cheap prices!!

Got a solid oak mission style chair with upholstered seat and back for $25. The clearance room in the back is the bomb! It is hard to find a salesman sometimes, my family has bought several items and its best to get one of a kinds in the back and load it on your truck then and there. Wish they stayed open later.

Poor customer service!!

I had promblems from the day my item was to arrive! They did not bring all my items for my sons bedroom suite. Told me the bed would be in anytime and would be delivered. Over 3MONTHS later they called and said the bed was in but to be sure I recieved one I had to come pick it up. I asked to speak to someone in customer service and was told that the salespersons handle that themselves. I went to the better buisness website and found they have a unsatisfactory rating! I wish I had checked them out first!!

PROS: The item was fine
CONS: Delivery, customer service

We bought a couch for a great room last year from Knoxville Wholesale Furniture. The price was great as is the couch. It did take us awhile to find a salesperson to help us but it was a busy Saturday and they were slammed.

I was looking for a new couch but everything I found was really expensive. I went here and ended up with a couch and two chairs for the price I would have paid for just one couch somewhere else. The staff was really friendly and were very helpful. I will definitely return when I need new furniture.
