This is one of the most unpleasant thai restaurant I ever been. I was petrified from this and have gotten sick for the rest of the day.
I came with my husband to eat lunch, and obtained noodles from the food stand. Unknowingly, I heard a loud CRUNCH when I was chewing on it, and revealed that it was a cockroach. I alarmed the manager about this and she was apologetic. Then she offered me a second plate of noodles, and this time, I discovered a tangled piece of hair in it. The lady apologize again and offered to give our money back, however, I was nice enough to let them keep it. As a result, I and my husband left and never coming back again.

Pros: Taste

I have eaten here for supper on multiple occasions. I love it and will continue to go back. I have never had something that I didn't like, and I've tried a lot of things, from pad thai to curries, to regular entrees. I don't think that you can go wrong here. I have visited a lot of places and tried Thai food elsewhere, but this is the best I have ever had. HIGHLY Recommended.

Pros: Really great food, Attentive staff

Cons: Not any that would keep me from going here

As other reviews have already said, the exterior of this place is nothing to write home about, but once inside you'll forget all about that.

It has been years since I've had good Mee Krob but Siam Cafe made it worth the wait. My Pad Thai was wonderful and the service was outstanding.

I will most definitely be eating there again, and again, and again....

I had the luxury of living in neighborhoods like Belmont, and Sylvan Park, so when I moved in with my boyfriend in south Nashville, I was sad to leave all the great restaurants I had been so fond of. However, on a tiny little street, in a tiny little building that doesn't look like much, there was Siam Cafe. The wait staff is attentive and extremely kind, the facility is very clean, and the food is outstanding. I haven't had an item yet that I wasn't happy with. you should go.

I have eaten just about everything on the menu. The Disco Chicken is kickin'. I always order extra cilantro and lime with my pad thai to get it the way I like it. I crave their salad dressing which is a peanut sauce. MMMmm. What ever you order you will be impressed the food is wonderful.

If you can get past the sketchy exterior of Siam Cafe, then you will be rewarded with the best Thai food anywhere. Quick seating, amazing food, friendly staff....what more could you want?

Siam Cafe is the absolute best Thai restaurant in Nashville. I was a little reluctant about going in but once I was greeted by a extremely FRIENDLY staff things started to look up. After my first bite of a spring roll and satee with the freshest peanut sauce I was in love. The Lad Nah was awesome. I can't wait to go back to try everything on the menu. If you are looking for GREAT service and GREAT food at an affordable price Siam Cafe has what you are looking for.

This little restaurant should be dipped in BRONZE and preserved for posterity-- it is THAT good. The curries are excellent and the appetizers are the tastiest in town. And the servers are always smiling and friendly. A wonderful place to dine.

This is by far the best Thai I have had in the Southeastern states. I discovered this place about a year ago and I have coming at every other week since. True to their Thai recipes, this food is so well done I crave their curries. Their soups, rolls and desserts have always been fresh, no hint of over- fridgriated or heated foods. Its a cozy atmosphere with friendly people, I highly recommend it.

Great pad thai. All the curries are good, too. Spring rolls are just OK. Crab rangoon and chicken on a stick are both good, too.
Oh, the staff rocks, too. Just plain good. Thanks for all the great meals!
PS - we usually do carry-out.

I moves here from New Orleans and searched for months for decent Thai food. Although Salathai was amazing, it closed down about 2 months after I got here. Several bad experiences almost made me give up until I found Siam Cafe. This is THE best Thai food in Nashville and is the REAL DEAL. The staff is also extremely personable and are just fun, super people. Also, it doesnt close for lunch, so you can go anytime. Excellent.

I frequent Siam Cafe on average once a week. I absolutely love their Chicken Pad Thai! Also if you want to try something spicy and fresh try the Somtom, it's shredded green papaya with this spicy sweet juice very yummy!

I love this place! I am so glad I was told about Siam cafe! I probably eat there once a week. Everyone I have taken has commented on how excellent the food is, even if they aren't big fans of Thai food. The staff is friendly as well. I love the green curry and the spring rolls. The decor is nothing special, but that's not really the reason you would go to this place. I have nothing but good things to say.

Ask to be seated in the dining area if you want to order you own food and not eat from the buffett (which is also avaliable at dinner).

I arrived in from Houston, TX and saw this place on citysearch - after some difficulty finding it I pulled up and things only got better.

The beef panag was the best I've ever had, period. The chicken pad thai was also excellent (also the best I've ever had). To give you an idea of what I mean- I travel quite a bit and always locate the local thai restaurants - and have eaten at almost every thai restaurant in Houston over the last few years (dozens of them).

This really is a gem - it made me sad to know that we don't have such exceptional food in Houston. For anyone that loves thai this is a much needed dining experience.

Everything is hot and fresh - and it's super quaint.

Pros: best thai food EVER, romantic, small

Cons: not good for larger (20+) groups because it is small...

When I need comfort food at lunch, their chicken noodle soup always hits the spot. Although their fried fish, dancing shrimp & eggplant are all favorites, this is worth the drive down Nolensville Pike.
