I would never recommend this physician.. Not only does he order dozens of tests that aren't needed, he is rude, arrogant and unprofessional. I have heard him make sexual comments to employees and patients alike. He curses his staff and walks around slamming things. He has over 100 patients scheduled everyday and doesn't by any means see all of them. He sends in his nurses to see patients and then charges insurance companies for a visit. He should be shut down.

needs to be more professional and inform patients of what is going on before they sit there waiting for 2 hours i have never in my life been treated so poorly by staff and a d in all my life and i am a nurse. I am ust to arrogance and Drs not caring but this one takes the cake. He wins the award but i won't say for what. Unncessary test, the reason he runs so many is because he has no clue

Josovitz Mark S MD is a really great doctor, but I think his office workers need to be a little more knowledgeable. They are always nice, but have no idea how to answer a question. Here's my situation.....I was prescribed Vyvanse which is a narcotic. You have to have a "new" prescription everytime you run out of medication. That is not a problem, but when I call the office to have them get me a new prescription, they act like they have no clue what I'm talking about. This happens a lot!!! They want me to come in and see if Dr. Mark needs to see me (which I know he doesn't) and then if he doesn't they said he'll write the prescription. I really don't have time to just run down there and see if he needs to see me or not, because for those of us who have been to Dr. Mark know it's not a quick visit. I love Dr. Mark, but may have to find another doctor just because I'm tired of dealing with the front office. Having said all that, I would still highly recommend at least giving Dr. Mark a try.

If you know Dr. Josovitz, you would understand the comments, both negative and positive. He is one of the most thorough doctors I have seen, and I have seen way too many doctors in my lifetime. If he isn't exactly sure what you have, he will isolate the problem with tests as needed. He is one of the most up-to-date doctors - his reading schedule of medical findings is unmatched in my experience. Do I know him? Yes. Am I biased? It would be hard to say otherwise. Would I take my children to him (when they are not seeing a pediatrician)? Without a doubt. I would without hesitation trust my life to this man. He is one of the finest and most caring individuals I know. If you knew the amount of time most doctors put into staying current, you would find a doctor like him and stick with him for life. Most doctors leave everything at the office. He does not.If you are looking for a quick prescription and a cursory exam, look elsewhere. Dr. Josovitz is a professional and takes pride in his work.

I have been a patient of his for OVER 10 YEARS! He has always been professional, courteous, and thorough. Unfortunately, he is not my only doctor. Yes he does a myriad of tests, however I know as a patient I have the RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY TEST that I may feel is not necessary or at the very LEAST ask about the test if I'm unsure. Many people do not exercise this right and just have them done! Then they are angry and feel the tests were unnecessary when getting a result back that does NOT find anything! Anyone seeing any doctor should know their insurance policy, to avoid any financial 'surprises', and EXERCISE their right to say NO!

I have been going to Dr.Mark (Dr.Josovitz) for almost 10 years. I have never met a more caring, loving, and genuine doctor before. His staff is wonderful, and he is very thorough. He has never run unneeded tests for me, and always explains what he wants to do before he does it, and asks what you want to do. My husband and I didn't have insurance for a long time, and he barely charged us ANYTHING and always found ways to get us the cheapest meds possible. Even when we DO have insurance... he has NEVER over charged, or run tests... or done anything just for the money. He's a wonderful doctor, an amazing christian, and an all around great guy.

My mother went to see him and for two days was put through a series of tests, 6 hours the first day and another 4 hours the second day for him to tell her she had a spastic colon. He sent her home with several prescriptions and once we filled them and got home for her to take them we were reading the signs and symptoms section given with the prescription and he had given her not one but two different kinds of depression medicine, narcotics. My mother has kidney problems and is not suppose to take any narcotics at all. He never told her what he was giving her and what they were for so needless to say we were in SHOCK! We called to inform them of what happened and even though they apologized it was truly unnecessary. He gave her tests she did not even need and others that she had just done within the past couple of weeks but he refused to use them and stated he had to have his own, he wanted the money for them! In the end my mother went to a different doctor only to find out that she had an extremely large mass of scar tissue that in result had to be surgically removed and he said she had a spastic colon, he was not even close, don't waste your time or your money and trust me it will be a lot of hours wasted and a ton of money for all his unnecessary tests he claims he has to have. All those tests did my mother nor her check book any good.

This is the worst doctor. we have had to deal with ever. He was rude, arrogant, tried to set my husband up with a ton of tests he did not need. He gave my husband a $60 prescription for something he didn't have and wanted to send my husband to a "friend" of his for even more tests. We cancelled all of the appointments he had set up for my husband because we wanted nothing to do with this dr. We made an appointment with a different doctor and he knew immediately to send my husband to a surgeon! Dr. Josovitz would have had him sitting around with this problem while he ran tons of unnecessary tests but the new dr. had him at a surgeons the next day and surgery done three days later. My husband is now on the mend. Oh also Dr. Josovitz did do a blood draw on my husband but he refuses to give us the test results unless my husband comes back in which is not happening

I was introduced to Dr, Mark as an inpatient at MTMC. He was wonderful. Great bedside manner, caring understanding and I always knew what his plan of action was brfore any tests were ordered and the reason for the testing. His office staff is wonderful. Very quick to respond and very helpful. I have already referred 2 people to his office.

Dr. Josovitz is the best. You will not find a physician who is more compassionate and concerned about his patients. Sherry, one of his top notch office employees, is a joy and always willing to get you in when you need it. Dr. Mark is truly the finest Christian doctor our family has ever encountered. I truly beleive that he loves his patients and works very hard to keep them healthy.
