I just had a tooth pulled today at Dr. Stinson office. I arrived at 10:38am and I left at exactly 1:00pm. It is 3:40 now and I feel fantastic after having my tooth pulled. I can't believe the bad reviews that I have read on here. This was my 1st visit to Dr. Stinson, however, I took my daughters that are 10 & 11 there two weeks ago and they were treated FANTASTIC. My daughters had appointments when they went and we were in and out with no problem. Yes, I had to wait a few hours but that is what happens when you show up during the walk in hours. And to be honest I don't think I waited that long considering there was about 15 people ahead of me. When I went today, it was an emergency situation. I needed a root canal and couldn't afford that, so I went with getting the tooth pulled because it is the back. $65.00 is all it costs me. I had a full x-ray of my teeth and one more x-ray when I got back to the room. I was given a small shot to numb the area then given one more shot to numb the tooth. Dr. Stinson came back about 5 minutes later and asked me if I need anymore Novacaine? I said, "No, lets do this." I NEVER FELT A THING.
I can't speak for other people and their experiences, however, I would recommend Dr. Stinson to anyone. I will say that his office is not dirty and the chairs do not have holes in them.
The staff aren't rude. I think that they are just really busy and can't sit around and chit chat. I have no insurance now and that is why I went to Dr. Stinson. His prices are afforable. I will also say that even if I had top of the line insurance, I would still go to Dr. Stinson. He is professional and so are his staff.
Thank you Dr. Stinson and staff for making my horrible, horrible pain go away for $65.00, if only all things in life were this easy and cheap...

Oh and the remark on Dr. Stinson personal life...Who cares what he does in his personal life? That is why it is called personal. I don't know Dr. Stinson personally and I have only been to his office twice but I don't think anyone should judge his professional abilities by what he may or may not do in his personal life.

If you want luxurious accommodations, state of the art equipment, staff trained to anticipate your every whim, you will PAY DEARLY for it. At one of these offices I was told it would cost me $8000 to repair preivious bridge work. Dr. Stinson cost was $125. You do the math. I did not see anything in the office that made me uncomfortable or offended. Many people where I live drive 2 hours for his services.

I had a toothache over the weekend and went first thing on Monday for a dental consultation. My first impression was a poor one; the facility was dirty, there was a bad odor and the staff was extremely rude. I had an ex ray taken and then was lead into a dirty looking room where a nurse came in and asked me how many teeth I wanted pulled. I said I didn't know if any of my teeth needed pulling, I wanted to find out how bad the tooth was and if I needed a root canal because part of the tooth had chipped off. She tossed a clipboard at me and said, "Make up your mind if you want it pulled or if you want a root canal." Then she left me in there for over an hour and never came back. I never saw the dentist. I walked out.

Dr. Stinson did not give my jaw time to numb. He jammed the needle into my gum to the point I came out of the chair screaming! He wouldn't let up. He finally got made and began to yell at me and walked out! The assistant was even in shock at his behavior!

The patient room is very dirty. The chair you sit in has holes in it, the sink has brown stains in it, the utensils look dirty.

The ladies at the reception desk talk down to you as to belittle you. It was just a horrifying experience! I will NEVER forget it! I worry about others who may go there, what germs are being spread, what kind of medical problems he may cause people.

My advice is to anyone even considering his office is: R-U-N!!!

I have been to Dr. Stinson on numerous occasions. I have heard many rumors about him (relating to personal life, not business), and I was hesitant. However, I was not disappointed with my care.

One thing I like about him is that he will still pull a tooth for a reasonable charge. The other places that I considered wanted to opt for an expensive repair, but Dr. Stinson pulled it for me without complaint.

It's a good place for basic dental services with good rates.
