They have real good breakfast. The pancakes are the kids favorite. The place is clean and the service is good I would recommend you eat there at least once.

My husband and I ate breakfast there the day after we got married and it was the best food ever. I have been married now for 13 years and we still talk about how we love the Log Cabin.

We ate at a lot of pancake restaurants while on vacation and found them all to be good, but this one was one of our favorites. The location is fun and it's a neat place. The food was great.

My family vacations in Gatlinburg/PF most summers and the Log Cabin is basically our feeding hub. They're known for their pancakes. They really are great. I like mine pretty plain, so I go with the "silver dollar" cakes. You get like eight or 10 of them. They also have wheat pancakes. I know that might sound gross, but they're totally delicious.

My husband usually hits the buffet. It's located in the right rear of the restaurant. A lot of people don't know it exists. They always have mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and bread back there. He usually comes back with salisbury steak or chicken or something else that looks good.

Service is quick but not necessarily friendly. The ladies all go with that old-school thing where they wear big sweatbands on their arms. You totally could see the people worked here being named Flo or Bitsy or something like that. Heavy accents (obviously local) but they're into their job. They'll get it handled.

Prices are not high. This place will not break the bank. We usually get out for $50 or so. That's four adults and a 5-year-old plus a 15% tip.
