On Friday, January 2, 2009, I visited the Florence, Alabama land field location of this ??restaurant chain.? This was a huge mistake on my part.

I ordered the ??Cajun? chicken sandwich with soup and a baked potato and a glass of unsweet for my beverage. The tea was undrinkable. The soup would have been better without having nasty white rice in it. That piece of undercooked chicken did not have the first authentic tasteful sign of actually being bona fide Cajun chicken since there is more to this style of cooking than having someone to squirt hot pepper juice on meats. Above all, it is so completely wrong to add an extremely large slab not slice of Italian cheese to this style of meat since it takes away from the authenticity of actually being a piece of genuine Cajun chicken since the person can only take that malevolent form of cheese and nothing else. If that bun was any more soggy with the over usage of oil, I could have squeezed out a quart of it and use the excess in my automobile. That ??baked?, more like boiled then slightly baked, potato was tremendously burnt to a crisp and served with an extremely large, nasty, artery-clogging amount of butter. Above all, the entire meal was completely cold as though it was cooked, under cooked and/or bunted, for a very long time. That server had enough gall to ask me if I wanted to take this crap home. I told him ??I would not take that home feed it to my dog.?

The service was down-right awful. One hostess was improperly dressed by purposely choosing to wear an ill-fitting button-down shirt that was extremely tight, low-cut to expose their breasts while gaping open around the button area of that shirt to display the rest of her chest area including the bottom portion was completely exposing her stomach and bellybutton. Her pants looked like they were painted onto her body by the way they were below her waist nearly exposing the top portion of her buttocks crack She was completely rude. She did not greet me with a smile and a friendly voice. Matter of fact, I received no greeting of any kind from her. She was extremely hateful and purposely kept me standing there for over 5 minutes waiting to be seated since I was the only one who was seeking a table at that time. Above all, she was more worry about standing there filing her than actually working since her promiscuous appearance is (was) more important to her than doing her job correctly. She needs to be retrained on the proper attire for a hostess, how to correctly greet guests, and health department codes concerning filing her nails while she is supposedly be working since an ??eating? establishment is not a nail saloon. If this cannot be done, she should be fired since she is the poorest, laughable, inexcusable, prime example of what a hostess should not be.

That inferior Tennessean server should have stayed in his home state by the way he annoys guests by constantly hovering over them without giving them the chance to breathe before he starts his next aggravation round of making irritating statements and/or asking exasperating questions. Apparently, he was asked to move this area since he is from the Murfreesboro area and possibly a family member as well. In my honest opinion, he should be nothing more than a professional dog poop scooper since he displays the wrong attitude for a server.

The overall atmosphere is (was) non-existing. It felt like I walked back into that hazardous truckers?? dive in Toad Suck Park, Arkansas with an atmosphere of a Chuck E. Cheese pizza joint for ill-mannered, unsupervised children. I would continue with this description, but it would be an insult to adjectives.

A health department codes for cleanliness are (were) not enforced by management. The table I had for my non-dinging experience was most likely not cleaned for several hours. The tablecloth was sticky and full of trash. The chairs had leftover food in them. The floors were not properly swept. I was grateful I did not have to use the restroom. I heard this one patron making the statement how she witnessed an employee not washing her hands before returning to work. SICKENING!

I have had my first, only, and last meal at any location of this compost serving ??restaurant? chain after what occurred to me and from what I witness first hand. I was so proud I was not forced to pay for this horrible experience which has scared my dining life for a long time to come.

This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. Like it is an expensive place but the prices are reasonable. You get a lot of food for the price and the service has always been excellent.

My boyfriend and I went to Demos after eating at an excellent Itailian restaurant where we were told that Demos was a "cheaper and better version" of the Itailian restaurant. After we were told that we went there the next week. At first when we got in the waiting room we figured this would be a great meal considering there was such a wait. We had about a 10 minute wait, as we were waiting we saw that people were paying the cashier at the front of the restuarant as they were leaving. Kind of tacky we both agreed. After we ordered the bread came out with out salad, personally my first piece of bread tasted like it was freezer burned. The salad, I would bet, came right out of a plastic bag, the type you buy at Walmart, with the pieces of carrots and radishes already in it. I ordered a seafood pasta, that included shrimp and crab. It was $8. The crab was imitation, no where in the menu did it mention imitation. I was greatly disappointed. My boyfriends dish was a greek pasta of some sort that left a weird after taste. I definately did not feel as if this was worth our money and I believe the restaurant across the street would be a better bet, Toot's!

I love this restaurant. My husband and I go at least twice a month if not more! It is a great value for the amount of food you get. LOVE IT! Steak and Chicken are amazing, but everything on the menu is great.

Demos Steak & Spaghetti House is my family & friends' favorite restaurant. You cannot beat Demos' on food, value, service, or atmosphere. The restaurant is high class but at a price affordable to anyone. Lunch specials start at just $3.95. The food is always high quality and fresh, and there is a great variety of dishes to please any appetite. Whether you like pasta, seafood, steak, salad, or chicken, you are sure to find something on the menu that appeals to you at Demos'. They offer many unique dishes and sauces made from scratch. Also, each entree comes with a side (pasta if you like), the delicious rolls, and salad or the infamous baked soup. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are dining in the Murfreesboro area or check out their locations in Lebanon and Nashville which are equally as good. Dining at Demos' will make you feel like a King or Queen with the service, portion sizes, atmosphere, and food quality/taste.

PROS: great atmosphere, wonderful service, delicious food, great value
CONS:
