We bought a pair of comfortable oversized recliners here for a good price. I wanted real leather but these are blended leather and vinyl (called Durablend), which wasn't made clear by the salesman. They arrived about 10 days later. I picked them up near Hwy. 360 & I30 to save delivery charges- they were easy to set up. We are happy with them after having them a year. This is a large store with a nice selection of quality bedroom and living room furniture for good prices- they have nice sales much of the time. The salesman wasn't overly pushy. They bake fresh cookies to eat while you are browsing.

Ashley furniture stores have so many complaints on the web, that this one will not be news. However, this store deserves more attention still. Most recently, they encouraged a purchase made on a credit card of a person who was overseas at the time of the purchase. How would you ask? They let the wife of the credit card owner make a purchase, while her husband was away, did not even asked her for an ID. When the credit card owner returned, they suggested that his only remedy is ....not to return the furniture, no - rather to start a criminal case against his own wife. Not only they did not admit that they made a sale without checking an id, they refused any help to remedy the situation for the customer. The store does not allow any returns and it is a blanket policy for all Ashley Stores. Please, be very careful if you deal with this business.

It took us a long time to find a sofa and love seat due to the back problems I've had for the last few years. Ashley Furniture was the only place I could find something that would work for me, was affordable and looked good. I am really pleased with my find.

We went to the Ashley Furniture store ready and willing to buy a complete leather sofa purchase. During our visit, my son tripped on of their extension cords and fell on a display scratching his stomach. When I went to the customer service desk to ask for a first-aid kit, everyone started asking me what happened. When I told them, all they said was "oh." No one showed any concern for my crying 3 year old son, and no one apologized for leaving such a hazardous cord lying in a walkway for someone to injure themselves. Needless to say, I took my business to Rooms To Go, and they were very helpful and we ended up spending our $4000 there instead.

4 times delivery set up, 4 times damaged furniture. That means 4 times my family's schedules were arranged for delivery on THEIR terms. Nothing has been done! BAD,BAD customer service! They don't care about their customers!! They don't care about anything, you might as well be talking to machines. Delivery says talk to Customer Service, Customer Service says talk to Store Manager, Store Manager says talk to Customer Service (head spinning yet?) A friend of mine who had over $7000 worth of furniture from Ashley & had a terrible experience getting damaged furniture & warranty coverage issues had advised me not to buy from them,I should have listened. I didn't get the extra warranty package offered because I knew it had lots of loopholes, but I really didn't think I would have the damaged furniture issue. I was wrong. I will NEVER buy another piece of furniture from Ashley and will be advising my friends to do the same. Hopefully my friends will take the advise better than I did.

PROS: Cheap furniture
CONS: Terrible customer service

I got most of my living room and dining room furniture from Ashley in Plano. The main downside to this place is that when you order something, you have to wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered. Prices are pretty good though. Quality is nice as well.
