I took my 3 children under 5 (big mistake) against my better judgement because we had a gift certificate. After calling ahead and talking to the management, I was convinced that the place would not be too swanky for kids and that there was a "non-smoking" side. Well, the lot of us stunk up the house with the smell of cigarette smoke and all had to take baths when we got home 2 hours past their bedtime (service was very...very slow). First of all, the waiter told me, "pizza is not an entree...you cannot use your gift certificate for pizza." The gift certificate said only that you had to order at least 2 entrees (which I did) and had to spend at least $35. The G.C. was for $25. So, instead of fighting with him (this was my night off from cooking) I relented and followed his guidelines. Our food got to us about an hour later. He corrected my children by telling them that if they put their elbows on the table again, the table would tip over. He was rude and snippy to all of us. Then, our bill only had $18 taken off (rather than $25)...the waiter said, "the manager says it is for 2 free entrees." I told him to let me talk to the manager because that is not what the G.C. says. He came back and the full $25 was taken off. Then, the waiter told us that he usually gets stiffed on the tip, though the rules are changed (for the gift certificates) by the manager. I will never, ever go here again. I many send my husband for "to go" orders only, as there food is pretty good but the service is awful. One side has 8 or 10 tables (small tables) and the other, separated by a glass picture window in the middle and nothing on one end other than a smoke-filled hallway. There are pool tables on that side, a big t.v. and a bar area.

PROS: The chicken parmisian sub sandwich was delicious and it's less than 7 bucks
CONS: Do not take your children here, no matter how well-behaved they are
