.

First off, I got my gas from the other Mansfield Shell station, the one at E. Broad & 287. Yet there was no entry location on this site for posting a review to that location. =( I do not know what exactly was NOT in or WAS in that tank a gas I filled up on recently [last weekend- 03/04 June 2006 weekend] yet my pickup truck was choking on it...literally! I thought well perhaps my tank has water in it..or something is funky with the gas itself.

I took my whole gas tank off my truck to clean it out...and I kept all the bad burning fuel I got from the Mansfield Shell at E. Broad & highway 287. I must note, the gasoline did not even look right--did not look like normal gasoline. Then after I got my tank cleaned out...I put it back on my truck and put some gas from the Mansfield Diamond Shamrock [aka Valero btw] and my truck ran great!

I telephoned Shell's national hotline number and they passed me around on the phone for awhile and when I finally got to someone, they did not even want me to send them a sample of the bad fuel nor did they mention they would do anything about refunding my money...not to mention I think they were lucky my truck has not seemed long term affected by that messed funky gas they had. I normally use that Shell station, yet have since switched, even though that Shell station is less than a quarter mile from my residence.

I just want to warn people out there, something is rotten in the gas station of Shell!

PROS: Gasoline Station nearest to my residence & located just off Highway 287.
CONS: Poor gasoline quality!!!! Terriable National Customer Care!!!
