Worst shopping experience EVER!
by Harold S.
Went to go spend over $3000 on closet cabinets. Got different stories on what to do at ever turn. Delivery was a disaster. The idiots in the truck backed into my driveway and cracked it. They refused to repair it. Some of my items were damaged and that was a nightmare to get rectified. You have to sit on hold forever to get any help and then, no one even cares to help you. The cabinets are the worst quality, if you even go near them, they scratch beyond repair. I do not recommend this store, they have a lot of improvements to make, especially in their lousy quality of products...it's all junk.

If you've never been to IKEA before, it is quite an experience. It is HUGE and you could easily get lost in there. Whether you have a specific item in mind or you're just going to browse, you could easily spend a few hours walking through the whole store. I think that one of the reasons that it is so appealing is that they offer a wide variety of furniture at very affordable prices and there truly is something for everyone.
A definite plus is that they have a number of rooms (living room, bedrooms, kitchens, etc.) laid out so you can walk through and get ideas about different furniture options or even accessories. For example, if you have a new house or are looking to do some remodeling, their kitchen section has appliances, countertops, cabinets, lighting, organizers, and even sinks and faucets. They have a variety of rooms that are already laid out so you can walk through them and get ideas about what the finished product would look like. When we moved into our new house, we needed a small table for our breakfast nook, and we found the perfect one at IKEA. Their stuff is affordable, easy to assemble, and very functional. The table we bought is not as durable as other furniture we have in our home, but it serves its purpose.
Another fun area to browse in is the children's section. They have children's furniture (including dressers, beds, small tables and chairs, etc.) as well as toys. The prices are unbeatable!
As you approach the exits, there is a section with kitchen gadgets and home accessories. I love to browse through the displays and bins and even if I have managed to make it through the whole store without finding something to purchase, I always end up finding something here.
They have a play area for children and a restaurant with very reasonable prices (including a full breakfast for only $.99). It's a place that the whole family can enjoy and you could almost make a day out of a trip here!

This store has a huge selection of furnishings and is very convenient to shop especially with the play area for the kids. The quality is not the best but for childrens furniture they have really unique and different things there.

I wish they had more of these stores in more locations. I can spend hours in this store. The selection is vast and wonderful and the customer service is great too. I love to shop here and they offer so much to choose from I don't have to worry about having someone else's living room. This place is great!

The best part about IKEA is of course the prices. You really could outfit a home in an afternoon without breaking the bank! Get their early and stay for lunch. The ladies that work in the cafeteria are so friendly and have darling accents. They are very family friendly. Kids are encouraged to play and try things. I can't wait till we are potty trained so my little ones can go in the children's play area while I shop!!

I like the efficiency of IKEA. Everything is super organized and laid out spaciously. The children's child watch is awesome; it gives me time to look and I am always given a beeper in the case of an emergency. The lines have always been speedy and the merchandise is unique and fun to look through.
