Thursday evenings are the most crowded time to try to check out, but they are working to improve their system and get more people behind the desk. At least they are friendly about it. The reserved books are labeled and placed on a shelf for you to get and bring to check-out to save some of their time as well. The system works fine. There is a large selection of books, magazines, and VCR tapes/DVDs. It's a very busy library, but I personally think it's great that so many people in the community are using it.

The Summerglen Branch Library is very Family Oriented. They have computers with learning games that the kids love!! There is a great selection Children's books and videos. They have a separate shelf for books related to the various holidays that is really easy to locate. My son loves story time at the library! The staff at this branch are extremely friendly and helpful! If the book you want is at another branch, you can always request it and they will transfer it to Summerglen and call you when it arrives- very nice service!!

I like this library because of what it offers for my young children. They have computer learning games for my 7 year old, a great selection of children's books and videos, and a small quiet play area with large stuffed animals, puppets and puzzles for my 2 year old. I will usually go into the play area with my 2 year old and allow my 7 year old to find his books and videos on his own. He is able to easily find what he needs. They have collections of childrens books in several different areas of the library. For a chile, we were stuck on Spot, Berenstein Bears, Curious George and Clifford and it was great that we always knew where these would be. There are also several computers with internet access in the library and a reasonable collection of adult fiction, nonfiction and audio books.

PROS: children's books and activities
CONS:
