AA Radiator billed me total amount for repair and did not repair my car.
I sent my 2002 Ford Tbird to this company via tow truck in early September with a cooling fan issue concerning a hydraulic line that powers it. Steve Stewart owner, assured me that he could repair the car and the labor would be 2 hours or $195.00. Stewart had problems finding the necessary part to do this. He did not endeavor to find a solution and I had to do all necessary research to try to resolve the parts issue. I found a specialty shop on the internet in Georgia who claimed they could make the part because Stewart was not making any effort to resolve the problem. However, the company in Georgia failed to provide the necessary part. But all of this time Stewart assured me that he could find a way to fix this as he was an outstanding machinist and could make the part if necessary. The car was promised to be completed on 9/30/11. Once again it was not completed as promised and my car had been in his filthy shop for one month getting overspray from radiator repairs all over the car and these people didn't even roll up the windows. Stewart told me that I would have to make the parts myself as he didn't know how. I am capable of doing this as, unlike him, I am a REAL machinist. Basically he put the problem on me after he told me that he could do it and this is what I was paying him for. After one month and several lies from this man I told him to give me my car back. He starting cursing, referred to my wife as an "f###ing b@@ch" and had a fit. My wife went back on Oct 3, with the police, to get the car and they refused to release it claiming they didn't know how to work the lift. We had to come back again that afternoon with the police and the car was in multiple pieces, filthy, oil all over the engine, the car, the inside and completely disassembled. He did NOTHING except dismantle the car and break the radiator housing in the process yet required me to pay him $355.95 to give me my car back in pieces. I had it towed to my house and found a lot of damage he had done and a box full of parts that even he couldn't explain where they went. Bottom line is that this guy charged me full price for replacement of this part and did nothing except dismantle it, damage it and hand it back to me in pieces for $355.95, plus we had to have the police present to prevent this guy from going into another tyrade. I now have a broken car with further damage, in multiple pieces in my driveway and had to pay this man full amount to get a car back in worse condition than it was in when I brought it to him.
