WORST CUSTOMER SERIVCE IN MY LIFE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS LOCATION!!!! ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY!!!!!! DO NOT GO!!!!
I ENDED UP GOING TO 1604 & BANDERA! EXCELLENTE!! TALK TO BRANDON OR CARLOS (sales Reps)My boyfriend & I went in to Conns at DeZavala to buy a dining table & a blender/food processor.
Sales Person *Michele Johnson* was friendly at first. Bought our blender (Black & Decker) & protection plan. We did NOT purchase the dining table that day bc Michele said they did NOT have any in stock or at any other store & that they were -5 at the warehouse!!
We left with our blender. NOT satisfied I called 1604 & Bandera! They said they had 4 in stock! whoo hoo!!
We called Michele again telling her the good new (thinking she was customer friendly) and told us it was a lie & to cancel the order bc it wasnt true & no one had anymore!! LIES!!!!
We went to 1604 & Bandera & got it that same NIGHT!!!! :D

6 days later we decide to use our blender! IT WAS BROKEN!!!!! We went back to the store & Michele wanted to replace the cup with a FLOOR MODEL!! How ridiculous?!! ok. I ended up not wanting it anymore bc I hate going through trouble! So I wanted to return it. She was NOT having it! Im guessing bc she cared more about her lost commision! So she called her Manager *Pedro Alejandro* & very briefly explained what was happening. He was not interested & right away said he would charge us to 15% RESTOCKING FEE!! I told him I was goin to buy another model anyways. DID NOT CARE!! BUT HOW are you going to "RESTOCK" a BROKEN ITEM!!!!!! Makes no sense!!! ok whatever. I called the Conns on 1604 & Bandera, spoke to the manager *Ruben* & right away said come over here & we will take care of you!
So happy!!! He made our night! He took it back after he tested it!
Ended up that the Return Restocking Fee is NOT charged for defect item. We paid $7 difference on the new blender! We were there literally 5 minutes!!!! In & Out!
I have been trying to make a corporate complain but can NOT get ahold of *Pete Valadez* he is (Pedros manager) but no luck YET! :)

I recently went in for an 'advertised special' the morning the ad came out - for a special on a stove with a free microwave - and guess what? They told me they don't have any more. I don't think they had any to begin with. Complete waste of my time and I do not recommend Conn's - take your business somewhere that they provide the specials that they advertise. False advertising tactics - don't get "Conned" - go somewhere else.

On thing Conn's sales people are great at is telling and promising you a bunch to get you to buy and they will not do anything to fix a problem. I bought a living room suite and paid $2500.00 plus the most expensive extended warrenty thay had and now that it is all falling apart I can't get them to fix it. The contracted service people (US QUALITY) came out the 2nd time in 5 months the guy took pictures and didn't touch the furnature when I asked him why he even bothered to come out he Blamed it on Conn's and Conn's blames everything on them. I have been on the phone with the Cororate offices today and still cant get anyone to help and like I said this has been going on for over 5 months. They are all STUPID!!!!!! What a load of crap they feed you. We should all get together and call the local news stations so they can do a hidden camera. Hell, I may do that myself and post it on everthing i can and send it to the news. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM I DO NOT WISH THIS ON ANYONE!!!!!!

once you purchase your products, you are out of their hair. they dont care about you afterwards, when your products need repair, even when you buy an extended warrant! the repair service center is HORRIBLE!! they are rude, ignorant, unprofessional and act is if you are nothing but a bother! we bought an extended warranty for a computer and are now in debate with them about the repairs, which they expect us to pay for! they do not give out loaners to use...they have had the computer since NOV!!!

USE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!!

I bought a Haeir Refrigerator from Conn's off IH 35 and Walzem Road on 07/2008. I was building my house so the refrigerator stayed in the box, in storage until November. After hooking the icemaker up we noticed the water line for the icemaker that comes out of the back of the refrigerator sprays all over the back of the freezer compartment. Called the Service Dept -- I too bought an extended warranty. After months of calling and waiting -- it is now Feb 23, 2009 -- they are telling me they cannot get the part from the manufacturer needed to repair the refrigerator. I want my money back for both the refigerator and the warranty to go somewhere that can service what they sell! They only want to give me a credit to use in the store..why would I want to do that!! I have been a customer at Conn's and bought many things from them over the years. I will never be going back!! I can't get hold of any district managers. I keep getting the run around from everyone in the store. I guess my next resort is also to contact the Better Business Bureau!

I purchased few things from this store but did not feel anything specific about them. Neither did anyone help me finding stuff there nor I faced any problems with them. Would say that the service is satisfactory.

You walk in to pushy sales people hounding you. I found what i wanted but they were out of stock. They told me that another store had it but i would have to pay at this store then take my receipt and pick it up. The other store had a broken up display unit and didnt want to give me a refund. i had to go through the district manager to get compensated.
