The ambiance inside this establishment is intimate and pleasant. The food... the food is exceptional. My lady had the Mediterranean Lamb Chops: "The lamb chops were some of the best I have ever had. Not only were they significant in size but they were three succulent chops instead of the traditional two. Cooked to perfection and served with healthy artichokes and grilled vegetables. I couldn't eat them fast enough but needed to slow down cause my plate was quickly cleaned". I had the Champagne Snapper Primavera: It was a delicate masterpiece of truly delightful flavors. I enjoyed every bit and didn't do as good a job at slowing down as my lady because my plate was empty before she finished her second chop. We shared the Surprise DeArtichaut for an appetizer. We knew the meal was gonna be a treat when we took the first bites of the appetizer (yes, it was that good). All in all, I would have to say that it was a truly enjoyable meal with great service including the live acoustic guitar performance of Jerry Brown. We were very satisfied with our experience.

Pros: Food, service, and price

Cons: Location isn't exactly wonderful and the exterior aesthetics are a little dated, but wih food this good...

Ratings_icons Best kept secret in Arlington!

It looks like a diner on the outside, but what you see isn't what you get! I *LOVE* this place! The food is always amazing, the service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is perfect. I like that a reservation and tie are a requirement and did I mention my favorite part? Children under 11 (?) aren't allowed! So when you're with your squeeze and want to hear something sweet, he doesn't have to yell it over snot-nosed kids! I can not say enough good things about this place. Go, you will not regret it...

Pros: Even the lighting is perfect!

Cons: I honestly can't think of any.

Great dining experience! You will want to take your time in order to savor the atmosphere, the candlelight, the music, and the food. Loved the tableside preparation of our Caesar salads, and the Seafood Ravioli is to die for. Our meal was exceptional. The staff was very friendly, and the service was excellent. This is a must for your next romantic evening. You won?t be disappointed.

Ratings_icons Romantic atmosphere, excellent service, excellent food

We have patronized this restaurant every few months for the past five to six years and the atmosphere, service and food have always been excellent. It is the perfect setting for a dinner outing that is an event, not just a stop before heading off to a concert or play.

The wait staff is attentive and will do whatever necessary to make our visits enjoyable, even going so far as to making changes to the regular menu to suit a particular request. Seldom do you find the owner of a restaurant of this caliber waiting on customers and mingling to ensure that his customer's needs are met.

The Caesar Salad is expertly prepared tableside, the cream of asparagus soup is delicious and the Chateaubriand is tender enough to cut with your fork. Throw in the classical guitarist on the weekends and it will truly be a night to remember.

If you are looking for a quiet evening away from the Dallas "see and be seen" crowd, you owe it to yourself to make reservations and stop by. It may not look like much from the outside, but you won't be disappointed once you step inside.
