Dr Charles Aramburo

by Julie D.

Dr A was my dr when I went in for emergency small intestine block surgery. Without a doubt, he was fabulous. He knew exactly what he was doing, very professional, very adept...I feel fortunate to have had him...yes, he is busy, but that is the nature of doctors! He is direct and straightforward--not warm and fuzzy---but I rather like that! He is confident....

Charles Aramburo

by T. A.

Dr. Aramburo was my cancer surgeon. It was truly a blessing to be under his care. He was, hands down, one of the best doctors I've ever had. He is a very knowledgeable and experienced surgeon. He did an excellent job in curing me of my tumor. His compassionate, caring attitude helped me in the healing process as well. If you need surgery and have the opportunity to use this doctor, he is awesome and highly recommended.

You've Got Hernia-Surgery-Then No Hernia-Charles Aramburo

by Sam A.

I visited with Dr. Charles Aramboro at Southwest Surgical Associates for a concern on a minor bump I had on the right side of my umbilical cord. The Dr., Charles Aramboro, who just recently setup his new office at Herman Hospital of Sugar Land, told me that it was an Umbilical Hernia that requires an immediate surgery, and that it required a Mesh to be inserted, and that it must be done a.s.a.p. Out of fear of the Hernia getting worse, I went with his directions and had my surgey during Christmas of 2006. After the surgery, Dr. Aramburo took my wife to the side and told her that it was a hernia and that it would no come back again. later he told me that he inserted a mesh that would take care of my problem. However, immediately after the surgery, the surgery nurse told me wife that I did not have a Hernia, and that in fact it was just a piece of fat that results from prior diets. When I confronted the Dr. with these information from the nurse, later I was unable to schedule an appointment with him. Also, the Dr. did a gownin toe nail that later regrew. A doctor who referred me to him was surprised when he found out that he did the grownin toe nail surgery when Dr. Aramburo never done it before. Please consult with others doctors before Charles Aramburo operates on you.

No patient consideration

by Steven M.

Dr. Aramburo, Charles J. would have had to do a lot of sweet talking to get me to have trusted him after my experience in his office. I waited in the waiting room for just under 2 hours with my wife and 6 month old baby. I was going to leave and grab a bite to eat but was assured that the doctor would be in within 15 minutes. Finally I saw the doctor and asked him what time he knew that he was going to have a surgery today. He informed me he knew at 10am. My appointment was at 1:30 pm! No effort was made to let me or any other patients know he would be late. There was no attempt to reschedule the appointment until we had already gotten there. I had to take a half day off work just so my time could be wasted and my confidence in the doctor could be completely diminished. I understand that emergency surgeries take place and that the doctors have hectic schedules. Still I am not going to let someone cut me open and remove a part of my body that could not have the courtesy to have someone call me and let me know it might be better to reschedule. I can't stand that as a patient I have no right against time spent in waiting rooms and doctors that are no shows. If they had to pay for the inconvenience to us for our time that we have to take off work and sit around in a waiting room I'm sure things would be different. The only right I do have I exercised when I asked for my money back and walked out the door.
