I spoke with a sales rep to order my dress over the phone. She asked what size I wore I said a size 8-10. She said ok, but she needs my measurements. So I gave them to her. She suggested that I "watch what I eat until the wedding" and said that I needed a size 18! Now, I do realize that bridesmaides dresses typically run small, but AN 18!!! She refused to order me a smaller size, because she was sure it would not fit! Needless to say, when I received my dress it was huge!! Not only did I have to pay extra for the "larger size" but I had to pay someone else to get it take in.. they are VERY RUDE!!

This was the first place that I went to look for a dress, and there was an older woman who helped me who was really sweet. After looking at other shops, I eventually came back to Brides and Belles to purchase the first dress that the woman had helped me with.

But when I got there, the older woman had been replaced by a bunch of teenagers who showed no interest in helping me and were extremely rude. I ended up purchasing my dress and was told that I would receive a discount on bridesmaids dresses purchased there.

When we went back to look at bridesmaids dresses, it seemed like the lady who was helping us was going out of her way to be rude. She openly rolled her eyes at me and said that I "Had to be wrong" about the discounts we were told we would receive. Even after not getting the discounts and leaving, I was called and told that she had undercharged my bridesmaids and would need to charge them even more than was quoted.

I went back in to complain so someone in charge about the whole ordeal, and the teenage "workers" whispered about me the whole time I was there.

Even after my wedding, they sent me a handwritten letter saying that they were pleased I had chosen them. And I thought to myself "oh, well at least they took the time to hand-write a thank you". But then I turned it over, and it said "unfortunately, there was a mistake, and you were never charged for the veil that you received." Which I KNOW I was, because I have the receipt to prove it. Why would I have been given it, if I hadnt paid for it?

I dont know what happened to the older woman who helped me in the beginning, but that first experience was completely different than all my others there.

I must say, that my dress was beautiful, though. But all credit for that goes to the designer, and not to the store.

Since my experience there, I have gone out of my way to recommend that people NEVER shop there.

My mother and I went in here first, while I was searching for my wedding dress;
I was very excited of course, and so happy to start searching.

As soon as we entered (in our jeans, t-shirts and converse)
They looked at us like we were garbage and then didn't even offer to help us while we looked through the dresses; They just stared rudely.

Word of advice...if you don't carry around a Louis Vuitton purse and have Chanel dripping from your body don't bother going into this store because you are NOT WORTHY to shop among them.

I bought my dress from David's Bridal and had a wonderful experience.
Super nice and helpful ladies work in there.

This place gave the worst service ever. They completely ignored me every time I tried to ask for help. It was ran by a bunch of 16 year old high school girls that do not know the first thing about bridal consultations. I finally was able to get a run after my friend tracked down a "girl". Then they brought we dresses that were NO where near what I wanted. Do NOT recommend for the serious wedding shopper.

When my bridesmaids all came to try on dresses the lady that was working there was so rude. She made inappropriate comments about each of their body sizes who all ranged from a size 00-8. My friends were so embarrassed that they wanted to report the lady. The lady was so haughty and acted like she was better than us. I don't understand what a cashier at Brides and Belles has to be snobby about, but believe me, this woman thought we were beneath her. This happened 4 years ago, so you can take your chances and hope she is not still working there!

This place is AMAZING!! My friend and I went there to find our Belles dresses and we got so caught up in trying on all the different kinds of dresses that we ended up staying there 30 minutes after they closed and we didn't even know it!! The ladies were so nice about it though, they didn't say anything to us about it, in fact they were still helping us find dress! Oh..and I got the perfect dress!

When a friend and I went into Brides and Belles to look at some wedding dresses for her, we waited and waited to be helped (we were the only one in the store) and we never got any help. We even asked the girl in there to help us. She said she would be with us in a minute and never came over there. So after about 15-20 minutes being in the store we walked out of there without being helped. Very rude and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I went here to get the garters and a bridal shower gift for my daughters wedding. They had such beautiful things there. The prices were real reasonable and they had alot of each thing. They took their time showing us different items and we just really liked it here.
