After paying for an annual state inspection with this company, my car required $900 worth of repair work. On the 15 th day, I returned for reinspection only to be told by the owner that she was not allowing any kind of state inspections

I would recommend Lakeway Lube and Tire to all of my friends (I have actually). I first brough my truck there for a routine oil change. I usually do this job myself, but give time restrictions, I paid to have it done. The job was done

If I could rate this place lower, I would. My saga started when I went to get an oil change and get a tire checked. After two hours and ten minutes, I left with two used tires. I was told that the car needed more repair as well and that they would contact the warranty company. Normally I would not buy used tires, but the manager rolled out two very new looking tires and I bought them. When I got home, I noticed that the tires put on weren't the same as they ones they showed me.

When I called the manager, he said that he would make it right for me. Several days later, I called to see if he had contacted the warranty company. Of course he had not. He said that he need the VIN number of my car but had not bothered to pick up the phone and call me.

I took the car back after the warranty repairs were approved. I told them that I was leaving town for two weeks and that I would like to have the car before then. That gave them a week. The day before I was leaving town I called and got a bunch of crap about how long it takes to get parts, so I just told them to lock the car up and that I would get it when I got back.

When I got the car the mats were nasty from workers. There was also an empty beer can in my cup holder that someone had left there.

By this time, I ended up paying for a part they told me they needed and was just happy to get out of there, vowing NEVER to go there again. They had put the original tires that they showed me back on the car, which I thought were good.

A few days later I had a flat tire. It was the same tire that I had originally had checked. I called and 45 minutes later they showed up, brought me home and fixed the tire. That was last week.

Today I was driving and realized that the same tire had gone flat. I had two dogs with me and it was raining. I left the car on the side of the road and walked the dogs home. Fortunately I carried two leashes with me because I don't trust my car since they got their hands on it.

When I called them again about the second flat tire, I was told that they should have put a new tire on and that they would sell me a new tire. I told the guy that I wouldn't spend another cent there and that I wanted to take it to a place that knows what they are doing. I am still waiting for a return call and my car is sitting on the side of the road.

I can't say enough about Lakeway Oil & Lube. It's the worst place I have EVER taken a car. HORRIBLE. It's not over yet, and it has been going on since the first part of December. Today it January 27.
