Sonic Drive-In

You need to tip carhops they do not get minimum wage !How rude they take out out orders pick up trash, take your orders from the speaker, clean tables and menu boards, wash trays that you eat on and work in the rain snow sleet and Skate! If you don't tip and get good service you are CHEAP!!!!

I love the food at Sonic, but gosh darn it, I wish they'd stop angling for tips. Tipping should be reserved for actual service. People already making minimum wage and above don't need tips. They aren't reported. REAL waiters are paid a much lower minimum because tipping is expected, and expected to make up the difference (if it doesn't, the employer has to make it up to the minimum wage). Tips are reported and taxed, and you get actual service for it all. They customize your order, check to see if you're happy, etc. You don't tip Sonic hoptarts!

But I'll take a large order of tots. Thanks!

when i went to this sonic the carhops were very friendly and did a good job with our order since it was a big order and i love their chili cheese dogs and tater tots.. everything comes hot.. and very affordable

No matter what you get from Sonic, you wont be disappointed. They have so much to offer and the price is right. Every now and then you will get a carhop that isnt the best, but most know they work for tips.
