Bushi Ban Intl

My 4-year old has been enrolled here for several months and loves it. We had attended two other karate schools and were unimpressed. One was run military style. The second school was better, but the kids never had the same teacher and frequently the class was taught by teens. One thing I like about Bushi Ban is they try to always have the same teacher and the teachers are adults rather than teenagers. I think this is especially important for the young children. Also Bushi Ban's program for young children emphasizes making karate fun. The children are taught skills but never to the detriment of fun or self-esteem. And class always ends with a game.

PROS: No sparring is taught in this class. No extra fee for belt testing.
