Reviews for Bill Milberger's Soo Bahk Do

Ratings_icons Superb on all levels!!!!!

Theresa K.

So glad to find this website. My son has been a student here 11 and 1/2 years. He began at age 4 and has enjoyed every class to the fullest. He's not only learned self defense forms and sparring but has also learned a great deal of self-discipline, self-respect, confidence,goal-setting and respect for others. Because of those life skills practiced in class, my son has experienced many academic and personal successes. Sa Bom Nim Milberger does an excellent job of careful and age appropriate planning. He can teach a 4 year old as well as a 40 year old how to be the best that person can be. Mrs. Milberger should also be commended as her professionalism is exceeded only by her friendliness and genuine concern for all students. She always makes time to visit with the parents, answer questions, and offer advice. As a mother and Soo Bahk Do student herself, she's very keen on the challenges and rewards that SBD promotes. I commend the Milbergers on running a friendly, clean and safe environment in which my child can enjoy the many and varied benefits of Soo Bahk Do!!!!! Don't change a thing!!!!!

We love children and value a clean and calm environment for our students to concentrate and learn in. We do not allow food and drink in the do jang and this women was allowing her child to eat candy which is against our rules. He was also being loud and dispuptive. She was asked very kindly to take her child outside to eat his candy.

I signed my daughter up and we attended the first two classes and the wife of the instructor was very unfriendly, asked for me to sit in my car while my daughter was taking classes because my 2 year old was disturbing the class. There were 2 other ladies in the waiting room and they rolled their eyes at her and later told me she was very bad about running people out of there with small children. I could not believe it b/c my child was not being disruptive in any matter or I would have been glad to take him out side to the car. This business is not family friendly.

PROS:
CONS: not good for families who want to watch their children during class
