Alite Laser Hair Removal, Waxing & Electrolysis

After being severely burned from a past laser hair removal experiences, I reluctantly decided to try Alite in hopes of an answer to my hairy little problem!

I found that their staff was well educated, extremely helpful, and highly informed on new and developing procedures and techniques. Alite has preformed laser hair removal on my bikini area, legs, under arms, face, and stomach. I can recommend them time and time again!

Valerie does my electrolysis and is absolutely amazing!! She is detailed, precise, and highly trained. I completely recommend her to anyone who has ever considered getting electrolysis on any of the areas that laser can not venture. You?ll be amazing at the quality of her work!!

Also, I?ve had AMZING weight loss results from their CHANGES system. You need to give it a try and I promise that you?ll be thankful that you did!

I have always thought about getting my unwanted hair lasered off, but held back because of the cost and unknown side effects. The folks at Alite were very cool to cut me a package deal with great pricing since I am having so many areas done (they have a great special going on right now, too!). Like everyone, I was a bit nervous in the beginning but Brunie's honesty, knowledge, and professional yet warm demeanor immediately put me at ease (which is especially important if you're getting a Brazilian done!). I am only at my second treatment and already I'm seeing results and have gotten complements on how "hairless" I am! Brunie does a wonderful job. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend Alite (and Brunie!) to anyone considering getting laser hair removal.

I was very nervous the first time I went in for laser hair removal. But I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome! I now LOVE it!

I am now one of Chelsea's clients, who I HIGHLY recommend! She was so professional and I felt very comfortable since I was doing both my underarms and bikini line.

I was fortunate to come in when they had a special running so I find the treatments worth my money!

I have recently moved to South Padre Island, TX and was debating trying to find a new laser hair removal place to go. I'm so nervous to start going to a new place so I've decided that staying at Alite Laser is worth the 6 1/2 hour drive back to Austin!!!

As far as Laser Hair removal goes....AMAZING! My underarms would grow every day and I was shaving every day. My hair is darker so even when it was shaved you could see the black shadow of the hairs. After each treatment my hair doesn't usually grow back for like 3 weeks and I never have to worry about shaving!!! When it does grow back it is so thin!

I LOVE both Alite Laser and Laser Hair Removal!

I have been getting laser hair treatments and electrolysis for the past 9 months with alite and I have had nothing but the best experience with them! Like many others, I also get treatments from Manja and she really is the greatest! A comfortable environment is an extremely important quality for laser/electrolysis/waxing centers to have, and Manja provides that comfort quickly within the first treatment. It is as though Im going to visit with a friend when I go to an appointment! The prices are also fair, and the results are great. I have gotten exactly what I needed from my treatments at alite and Im sure it would be the same experience for anyone else.

After an unfriendly and dismissive consultation experience at the nationwide laser hair place across the street, I searched for a different place to try using Citysearch and went to Alite based on the reviews. They were less expensive, extremely friendly, used the same great lasers, and were knowledgeable, so I signed up for laser hair removal with them. Liz has been performing our laser hair and is wonderful. I'm getting a brazilian, which means a lot of potential for embarrassment, but Liz is professional and it is a comfortable experience.

I also have been getting electrolysis on my face because I wanted my eyebrows done. Manja is fantastic and I highly recommend her if you are considering electrolysis. She's very good at styling the eyebrows. She does all the laser hair removal services and is friendly and knows what she is doing, so I'm sure she is great at whatever hair removal method you use.

Great place! I am very happy with my experiences with them.

It was my first time going to get laser hair removal. I found Alite on the Internet and was impressed that they were voted the best in the City of Austin in 2006. My friend and I made appointments to come in for a consultation and they were no pressure, they didn't try to convince us to do more areas or require us to sign a contract for a certain number of treatments. The technicians were careful and gentle and made sure to let you know when they were taking action. They are willing to work with your budget and were welcoming from the start. I have already recommended them to all of my friends looking to get laser treatment!! Plus, they are Austin owned and run!

Pros: No pressure to sign up for more than you want/need, comfortable atmosphere, informative staff

Cons: None! They explained everything I should expect in great detail.

I went for a consultation on alite laser because i had some facial hair. as a woman that is very emberassing but from the moment i went in they were very very nice. They were so professional and made me feel comfortable and made me feel like they truly cared about me. They were even able to fit me in that same day for my first session. I will continue going to Alite through the whole process and recommend it to anyone.

I had many laser treatments in California and found I had little to no results even after finishing all the recommended treatments. I found Alite Laser through a recommendation from a friend who has been using them for both laser and electrolysis. Since beginning my treatments the results have been better than my previous 8 in the other location. The staff is great and very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm so glad to have found them. Razors are now a thing of the past!

I started waxing at Alite about a year ago and through many chats during my appointments, felt comfortable starting with actual laser hair removal. I got a great prices and love the atmosphere. Everyone there is very welcoming and made me feel at ease. I even convinced my husband to do his neck...and he loves not having to shave! If your looking for great results and great prices..Alite is your place for hair removal :)

I just read the wax review below and I have to say, I completely disagree. I am a 20 year old student at UT and have had my fair share of Brazilian waxes. My experiance at Alite Laser was the best yet. From the moment I walked in the door they made me feel comfortable and the special they had going on made me feel even better cause I knew I could afford it. The girl who did my brazilian wax obviously had lots of experiance and removed my hair with ease and minimal discomfort. She checked with me to make sure the wax was a comfortable temperature, which it was, and talking with her was like talking to my best friend. I was in and out of the door in a very short amount of time.
After going to Alite a few times I decided that I was sick of shaving my armpits and was going to treat myself to laser. The price really is very affordable and I am currently on my third treatment and loving not shaving!! The treatment is not painful and the results are fantastic, what more can a girl ask for??! As soon as I can afford to start doing brazilian laser I will, but for the time being I am more than happy to continue waxing here at Alite. I love all the staff because they are professional and fun to be with.

I can't speak for the laser treatments but I have had a Brazilian here and it was the second worst I've ever had. It's given that Brazilians hurt but there is a wrong and a right way to do them. First of all the wax was way too hot. She did a ton of very small messy applications instead of few large clean one. She tugged at each application several times before it finally let loose. The girl was young and didn't have very good "bedside manner". Please excuse if the following is too graphic but that's my point exactly. After each removal shed show me the resulting piece of discarded wax as if it was a trophy. No thanks. See my other reviews if you want to know where to go.

I'm a 40 yrs male who first went in for back and chest hair removal. I was nervous walking into such a place for the initial consult, but Heidi made me feel very comfortable and informed. I had consulted with a larger "chain" operator but never felt at ease enough to go back. My hair responded very well and the treatment eliminated troublesome in-grown hair problems! And the smooth skin results are fantastic and I feel so much more confident about my looks!!

I am a young woman who was sick of shaving my legs and bikini line, especially because I got really irritated and red, which looked almost worse than hair! I had looked into laser hair removal but I didn't really know anything about it. I decided to call and get some information. The receptionist was so nice and friendly that I felt comfortable even over the phone. I scheduled a free consultation and was given all the information I needed in a timely manner and scheduled my first appointment! So far I have had three treatments and the results are amazing! Not having to shave for almost two months between treatments is a blessing. To begin with I was weirded out about undressing in front of a stranger, but the technicians made me relax before I was even in the room. I have sent several friends to Alite and they are all equally as happy with the service and the affordibility. Knowing that I don't have to worry about shaving before putting on a bikini is such a relief! They have been prompt with all my appointments and are willing to work with my schedule to book me at the most convenient time. The atmosphere of the office is relaxed and friendly. I would comfortably send anyone from my mother to my boyfriend into Alite because I know they would receive the best treatment in Austin by some of the friendliest people I have ever met! If you have been thinking about having Laser done, don't hesitate, and go to the best place!

I am a 30-year old male. I went to Alite for treatment on my back and shoulders, and I had never sought treatment anywhere before. I was nervous but what people say on the other reviews is true--the people and setting are professional but comfortable. At the consultation and treatments they answer your questions and get you on your way without rushing and without wasting time. They just take care of business in a friendly way.

I have had good results--better than I expected, actually--and I'm not done with treatments yet, so the treatment itself has worked for me, too.

Since starting at Alite I moved away and got treatment at another place in another town (it also had high ratings on citysearch), but it was not as good as Alite. The people at the other place did a sloppy job and took less time, missing spots and not covering all of what they said they'd cover and charged me for.

I am a woman with very thick hair and after giving birth twice I noticed my bikini area and lip and chin had more hair then it should. I am so happy now my lip has no more hair, so no more bleaching. My bikini area always looks clean and I barely have to shave. I used to have to shave everyday. The treatments are worthwhile for the price!

I have done it all with little or no success. Electrolysis, waxing, tweezing, bleaching, shaving....You name it! With laser hair removal, I found it to be faster and less expensive than electrolysis, longer lasting than waxing. I had my bikini line, underarms and legs successfully lasered. The process was easy and painless and the results are great. Thanks Heidi and Staff!

I have to tell you I was a little nervous about trying laser hair removal out...I "shopped around" and read many reviews b4 visiting them and I must tell you as a 1st timer they made me feel really at ease they were professional, courteous, and has excellent prices compared to many of the other places I researched.

I decided to invest the money for laser hair removal with the idea that it was permanent removal. After a year of treatments and spending a lot of money, I am still shaving my legs every other day. There is less hair and its thinner and I did see some results after just a couple treatments. However, I would have expected more after 6 treatments in a year. I realize that laser hair removal works differently for everyone, but I was a good candidate for it. Although Alite is reasonably priced compared to others in Austin, I wish I would have spent a little more money and gone with a place with a guarantee that continues to treat you for free for 2 years after you buy a package. Just be aware that after all is said and done, you might still be shaving!

I had been dreading trying a laser hair removal service, so when I finally went in August this year, I was pleasantly surprised. Heidi made me feel very comfortable during the initial consultation, and I was scheduled the following week for my first treatment. I was very impressed with the technician's professionalism and ability to make me feel at ease during what could have been a very uncomfortable process. She was extremely careful and thorough and the procedure was not painful. I have been to Alite twice now for laser treatments and have seen remarkable results. I finally look forward to summer and wearing a bathing suit! I highly recommend Alite because of the great results and the professional and friendly service.

I'm particularly excited with the results of my laser hair removal treatment. The technology has improved dramatically since my original treatment over a year ago, and the speed of the treatments has increased as well. It must have been at least five times faster than before. I also didnt experience the sensitivity, redness and swelling that I expected. About a week after the treatment, I used wax strips to remove the dead hair folicles to reveal smooth, hairfree skin!

Of special note is the the feel and decor of the treatment room. It helped me to relax and made the treatment more pleasant. I expected the feel of a cold, steril doctors office; instead it felt more like a room of tranquility that youd find at a spa. Alite Laser's treatment, facilities, and services are first class. I enthusiastically recommend it to others.

I found Alite Laser to be much less expensive than most and wow -- I am amazed at how well it works!
Heidi was very friendsly and, and even after 1 treatment I could see a big difference. She knows what she's doing.
I plan on doing my legs soon -- NO SHAVING!

I don't think there is enough space to write the many great things I have to say about Alite Laser. For years I wanted to get rid of unwanted hair and was too scared to do anything about it, so I continued waxing and plucking, and hating the hair which kept quickly growing back. How embarrassing, but I thought the alternative was painful and expensive treatments, so I just put up with it and bought my next pair of tweezers.
Finally someone told me about Heidi at Alite Lazer,that she could remove hair painlessly and the cost was very resonable. I made an appointment, and in five minutes, with no pain, I got rid of a problem which was a misery for twenty years. On top of that it didn't cost a lot. I amso happy, and can't recommend this place enough. If you are reading this, don't hesitate, go.
