24 Hour Fitness

My first visit to the facility on Emporium Drive, the old Q club, was very disappointing. This facility was very well managed and clean (Q club) at one time. Too many children in the women locker room. That room is not appropriate for children with naked women trying to get dressed for their exercise. Too many people in a class. It needs to be structured (20+ students) to get maximum use from the class. I wasn't able to jump around without someone running into me...We as Americans need to get back to basic and OUR way of operating business. Stop trying to satisfy every given person arriving in America.... I will elect to join a private club the next time around...

I'm afraid I can't find anything to recommend this place.

Pro: Well, it does have a lot of machines, yeah that would be it.

Cons: No variety of classes, sometimes they are out of towels, too expensive.

I have to say that the night crew here are very friendly and helpful,the machinery is well kept and clean and I have to say this is not their fault. ..When I joined I asked if the gym stayed cool and was assured it never got hot in there. I work out at 2 or 3 in the morning and it is MISERABLE!!! I asked why it is so hot and was told the manager sets it like that to save money. We night owls pay the same as the day people to join.The name 24 Hour fitness should mean the same quality at ALL HOURS of the day and night, I am going to look into seeing if there is a certain temperature that they are suppose to maintain like some other businesses . I would NOT have joined if I knew it was going ot be this hot every time I go in there.

Look at the other posts. This place is a DEN OF THIEVES! Once they have your credit card or bank info it's all over. Once you've had enough of being charged for fees you never ageed to then the real fun begins. They will keep charging your acount until you threaten to burn the building down!

SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was hard to stop my membership once my contract ran out. They kept charging me and it took several months for the charge to stop. The equipment is nice and they have several machines so I rarely had to wait.

First of all this gym location isn't much it's okay though but the sport gym is MUCH better! My only real problem with them was when I tried to terminate my free trail before they charged me, they KEPT charging me! IT took me three months to get them to stop! It was VERY frusterating! The gym it's self is okay but the workers ARE typically pushy about singing you. I would suggest just going to Ballys!

PROS: Gym has most equitment you need
CONS: not good service
