Bonehead Tattoo Inc

I have to say that Bonehead Tattoo is a great place to go and get a tattoo. They have a variety of artists there and they are all excellent. Dayton did a Totem on my husbands arm and it is so detailed. It's really sick!! Mike did two Japanese names on the insides of my wrists with some Cherry Blossom flowers and I get compliments on them all of the time. I tell everyone that asks about getting a tattoo to go there. Their prices are reasonable and they are a great group of artists.

I have gotten 2 tatoos at boneheads and both turned out great. Mike did my first tatoo which are stars on my foot. Dayton did my second tattoo of a rose which i brought in and he did an excellent job on it. It is like a replica of the picture. I definately recommend this place.

I've had my first two (& only so far) tattoos done at Bonehead & had great experiences both times. Mike did my first tattoo which was a design I made up. He was done in 30 minutes & the quality of the tattoo is excellent. I get complimented on it all the time. I got my 2nd tattoo Friday night & Mac was my artist this time. Mac was great, seemed excited to do it & did an incredible job. I've seen Dayton do two tattoos for a friend of mine as well & both are great quality work. Definitely will stay loyal to Bonehead & their artists for the rest of my work in the future & I recommend them to all my friends who are interested.

Although my first tattoo experience at bonehead was over 10 years ago by someone who I am sure no longer works there (he was a white guy from Africa named Julian) I have been here for everything from piercings to tattoos and have never left disappointed!!!! Like I said some of them are 10 years old but they still look GREAT!!!!

I've been goin' to Bonehead for about 11 yrs now. Love it! The artists are great! I've gotten 2 tats from Mike, he's the best! My largest tat is custom by Mike. Definitely take the time to check this place out!

I was EXTREMELY happy with my custom work...I designed the bulk of it and the guys at Bonehead hooked up the rest. I wanna say it was Dayton or Bryon, but it has been a little over a year and I don't remember the artists name...sorry. I have recommended a lot of people there especially after they took a look at the work I had done. Unfortunately I cannot attach a poto of the tat, but it's awesome.

I was really surprised by some of the reviews for Bonehead. These were all obviously not serious tattoo collectors. There are 2 artists there that only do custom work and have been working there since at least 2000, or maybe longer. I have spent over 60 hours in there. About forty for myself and at least another 20 hours with people I have taken in for custom work. I have never seen a bug in there? I have seen plenty of people get yelled at for using their cell phones, including myself. Then after being yelled at I noticed the no cell phone sign on the door and the 5 or 6 no cell phone signs inside. I asked whet the deal with no phones was? The owner told me it was because people need to be focused and talk to the artist so they can get the best help possible. I guess the music note girl is a perfect example! If you go in with a serious attitude and get a real tattoo and not act like a fool, you will get quality work. I have tattoos from all the U.S. I have noticed that tattoo artist treat people accordingly. If you go to a shop with a big group and act all rowdy and obnoxious, like i have in the past. You will get hurried out to make room for the serious people, like I have done in the past. Now I know and I get quality tattoos. After they are tattoo artist, not waiters. Treat them with respect and you will get the same in return along with a good tattoo and a good experience. You can see photos of my tattoos(all of them aren't from bonehead) at myspace/tatluv

Mike did my tattoo last April. (April 07) Very good artist. Go there and ask for Mike. He'll do exactly what you want or he'll add spice to it and it will still look good! Thanks Mike

My mom was raised in Fort Worth, and a couple years ago we went back to visit her old friends from high school. They all hadn't seen each other in, like, 20 years. For whatever reason, we all decide to go get tattoos - the first tattoo for both my mom and me. We get there and I ask the guy, "How much for a music note on my wrist?". "For you - 60." he says. I don't really know if that's actually a bargain in Fort Worth, or if he just really didn't like me... so later my mom and I decide to get matching humming birds tattoos on the back of our hips instead. My mom goes first because I want to call some friends back home and tell them. Her tattoo looked so good and cute... and now it's my turn. First off, the guy was rude to me for using the cell phone - even though I went outside to use it. And then, when he went to put the decal-thing on my fleshy white cheek, IT WAS THE MUSIC NOTE! We had just been talking about the humming bird! So I kindly tell him, "I thought we were gonna go with the hummingbird - one just like hers?" as I point to my mom's inflamed patch of ass-cheek. He looks over and pauses as he puts on his rubber gloves, kinda sighs, rolls his eyes, and starts talking about how he wishes that I had told him that I changed my mind sooner, because he already prepped and got the black ink ready - "besides, this one's smaller, it'll be over sooner and be less painful. What'ya say?". Since I didn't want to annoy the dude with the needle who controls my fate, any more than I already had, I think about it for a second or two and I decide to go with it. - (I wanted a music note anyway right? Whatever... no biggie!) So the tattoo gets done, and it wasn't over any sooner!... Nor did it seem be any less painful!...

All I know, is that I spent 60 dollars on a music note on my ass that I didn't really want... and it ended up being blurry, so now it just looks like a weird mole!... *sigh*... Eh, what'ya gonna do... I'll just cover it up with a sparrow or something...

PRO: Tons of pictures, including some daintier tattoo choices and more font/text options.
CON: I think my tattoo artist was high...

I get all my tattoos done at Bonehead. The artist are good and laid back. I went in with an idea and pictures. The artis put it together and it looks great.

Got my first tattoo here a year ago this week. Dayton did it for me. Love it. Took my cousin back two days later and he also did his first tattoo and it was awsome. Time for tat #2 and I hope Dayton is still there!

My husband and I both love it here. We both had tattoo's from other places and they were OK. I love bone head. Dayton is wonderful. My husband has a whole sleeve and Dayton drew it for him and it looks wonderful. We will never go anywhere else.. he has and will have lots of our money!!!!!

I've gotten all my tattoos here by artist that no longer work there, I'm not sure if there are any artist there now that I would let touch me with a needle except maybe the owner. Be prepared to listen to the hordes of mindless drones acting cool by hanging out up there and not getting a tattoo or piercing...

PROS: large flash selection for the indecisive
CONS: lack of freestyle artist

One of my friends wanted a tattoo. She didn't want to wait to find a nice place and was very close by Bonehead Tattoo. Even though I tried to talk her out of it, we still ended up there. We walk in and there are a whole lot of tiny little beetles every where on the floor... I don't have a clue what these were still. Never the less, she STILL gets a tattoo here. The tattoo was of a bear, and it looks horrible. She still regrets going there and will probably get it touched up somewhere else to make it look better. Don't go here!!!

PROS: nothing
CONS: Dirty, bad artists...
