5 Stars: my 23 month daughter loved it!!! (by Danielle P.)

We recently learned of this place and went to check it out. Our toddler daughter had a blast on every single ride. She even rode on the real ponies--they have a special seatbelt so that young children can ride safely and I was able to walk next to her. She also loved the little airplanes that had real spinning propellers. It was so fun to finally find a place where our young daughter could actually go on every ride (rather than say, "no, sorry, you're too little for that.") It was a hot afternoon, but they have a lot of shade over all of the rides and the park, and two little misters. The park staff are also so friendly and good with the kiddos. Definitely exceeded our expectations, are reasonably priced (no cost to get in, just pay for ride tickets as you go), and we highly recommend them. We will definitely go back and are planning to have her 2nd birthday party there.

4 Stars: Good Old Fashioned Fun! (by Brenda S.)

At first glance, Kiddie Acres looks kind of run down and creepy so we never went there. One day a friend told me about how her kids had a blast there. I decided to take my son there. He had such a great time that we are thinking of having his next birthday party there! They have a mini-golf course, ferris wheel, boats spin in the water, cars that go around, a carousel, pony rides and much more! My son's favorite ride was the train. It was very affordable.

PROS: affordable and fun for small kids
CONS: The rides are safe, but can stand a new coat of paint.

3 Stars: Have a birthday party coming up? (by K P.)

This would be a good place for a small birthday party. It is a bit on the expensive side if you are having quite a few children coming to the party, but if you are having a party with a small group of children then the pricing is very reasonable. Some of the rides are old which scared me a bit due to the safety issue. There is not a whole lot of rides to ride on and you get done fairly quickly. They do have discount days to help you save money. I have also seen the pony rides at our schools festivals so they may rent out ponies too for birthdays.

PROS: Great place for parties
CONS:

4 Stars: Kiddie Acres Amusement Park for the kiddo's (by Miranda M.)

Kiddie Acres Amusement Park is a hidden gem in Austin. Located off Howard Ln in North Austin, this park is a hidden treasure. The park is PERFECT for little kids, and the miniature golf appeals to all ages. There are a total of 7 kiddie rides: Kiddie boats, airplanes, cars, a carousel, a kid sized ferris wheel, a train that goes around the park, and pony rides! There is an 18 hole miniature golf course for family enjoyment. The place offers a variety of food and drinks such as hotdogs and pizza, popcorn, cotten candy, and snow cones. Kiddie acres offers special ticket prices for birthday parties. This is the perfect place for a party for a little one between ages 3-7.

PROS: Fun rides for the kiddo's
CONS: The place is old so it is a little run down and could use some paint

3 Stars: Wouldn't be my first choice (by Kay A.)

My child had a fieldtrip here and although the staff (owners) are extremely friendly the place really needs some updating. I think it is a little expensive, but they do have discount days which can save a lot. There isn't a whole lot to do here. There is an old Merry Go Round, a small version of a ferris wheel, a pony ride section, minature golf . They also have a covered picnic area. Not many other places have shade so it does get quite hot here during the summer.

PROS: Friendly staff
CONS: Needs updating

3 Stars: older machines, but the pace is slow for little ones (by Kristen H.)

Kiddie Acres has been around since I was a kid, at least 20 years. They have rides for little kids, and they are little kid sized, too. The ponies are friendly and very easy on little kids, and the staff there is very helpful and nice to the little kids. It is never crowded, and the discounts offered on Sundays, grandparents day is wonderful, all of the rides for only $10.00.

3 Stars: Older play area, but nice staff (by Charlene B.)

Kiddie Acres is a great little treasure hidden in North Austin. It has 10 rides, all for little kids. They have pony rides with very gentle ponies and handlers, and the rides are designed to go slow for smaller kiddos. They have covered picnic areas for parties, and a really great little train that circles the park. They also offer rental packages for parties with very decent rates!

3 Stars: Great for smaller kids (by Elaine S.)

Kiddies acres is a great place to take younger kids and have a super time. The park is clean and the prices are very affordable. In the summer heat it gets a bit uncomfortable and I really feel sorry for the ponies in the heat. The miniature golf course is pretty average but still fun and challenging. Worth a trip out there. Also, On certain days they have specials.

PROS: Prices Great, Younger children enjoy it, specials
CONS: Uncomfortable in the heat!
