A Wonderful Treat! and we ate there after reading all the bad reviews. Everything was great, service, food was 5 out of 5 stars!
it was at 3:30 on a tuesday, so not crowded, just a great experience overall. BTW I am from Glen Rose, TX. and have eaten at Red Lobsters in 15 states.

4/25/10 had a birthday dinner with 14 other people and were very happy. Service was very good Waiter and waitress were knowledgeable and made good recommendations. Service was relatively quick considering the size of the group. Food was tasty and served hot. Cheese biscuits were warm and tasty. Drinks were good and reasonable. All in all a very nice evening.
Thanks, Red Lobster

We invited an 87 yr old friend to dinner for his birthday at the Olive Garden. He asked if we could go to the Red Lobster, he liked their cheese biscuits and the Sailor platter. We took him to the Red Lobster that was next to the Olive Garden in Waco. He was told that the Sailor's Platter was only served at lunch and the waitress couldn't show him anything comparible on the dinner menu.He ordered flounder and shrimp scampi. We were not given Cheese biscuits and were told that they were out at the present. We ask for the biscuits two more times and finally got them as we finished our salad. We ate them while waiting for our meals. When the meals came, we were told again, that they were out of biscuits. We were nearly finished with our meals when they finally brought the biscuits. We all noticed that they didn,t taste the same this evening as they usually taste. We noticed that they had less cheese in them and they were not completly baked, they were very doughy in the middle. We called the Mgr. over and explained the situation. He apologized and the waitress offered us some biscuits to take home, we declined. They Didn't Have The Big Picture! THEY HAD RUINED OUR MEAL!! While driving home silently ,our 87yr old friend said "We should have gone to the Olive Garden!"

My friend and I were traveling from Dallas and stopped at your location in Waco for dinner at about 6:30pm. We were told it would be a 10 min. wait so we went to the bar to wait. That is when I noticed over half of the restaurant was empty. The bartender was sitting on the cooler watching the football game and did not even look at us when we sat at the bar where there was only 1 other customer. I asked for menus, which he gave us, never offering a drink. He then went over to the back bar to have a conversation with one of the waiters and after finally returning to us , I was able to get drinks. He then disappeared to the kitchen. I then noticed a young Hispanic guy, wearing glasses and a red shirt and apron who came out of the kitchen to converse with one of the bored waitresses. I asked him if he was a manager, to which he replied yes. I asked him why we are still waiting on service when half the restaurant is empty and the employees are meandering around conversing with each other. I told him I would eat at the bar if he could find the bartender and get him to show some interest. He seemed indifferent, as he had no reply and just turned around and went back to the kitchen, never to return. Finally the hostesses called us over to be seated. The section we were seated in had only 1 other occupied table and all of the other tables and the floors were dirty. The waiter arrived and appeared to be morally defeated. The food arrived and the lobster tail was cold and tough, the baked potato was extremely small and cold. However, we ate anyway since it was only getting later and no one working here would have cared about our satisfaction anyway. Throughout our meal we watched as the waiters hung out around the computers, joking and talking with what appeared to be another manager, judging by his attire and certainly not by his age or behavior. He was a tall slender very young man. $54.42 for this? Never again. This restaurant is strongly lacking leadership, you should be ashamed.
