Worst choice ever. The customer service is terrible. The people are rude and not helpful at all. They yelled at one of my bridesmaids for not having an appointment after they told 2 others they didn't need to make appointments. One dress was ordered in the complete wrong color, when I was standing there clearly telling them what color it should be ordered in. They order the dresses too big so your bridesmaids have to spend more on alterations. The dresses aren't worth the price and the customer service is the worst I've encountered yet. I wish I had known this ahead of time. I would have saved my bridesmaids and myself so much money and time.

This is just a warning/suggestion. If you are in the Arlington, TX area do not go to this location. I have read several reviews online that sound very similar to my experience. STORE MANAGER TAMMY IS UNPROFESSIONAL! I wish I would have listened to all the warnings on this page and NOT gone to Alfred Angelo. All was fine until one of my bridesmaids dresses was missing! Supposedly it was delivered but she was never called and now my wedding is in less than a week! The store manager, Tammy, is the most unprofessional and rude person I have ever had to deal with. I have been in retail management for 12 years and would have been fired for speaking to a customer the way she spoke to my fiance and I. I was given 2 options, the bridesmaid wears a dress that is 1 size to small or no dress. I contacted the District Manager and am waiting to hear back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Choosing Alfred Angelo was the biggest headache of my whole wedding. I brought all my bridesmaids in to try on dresses and get measured. The girls that were helping us had us all fill out forms with all our info, and they recorded our measurements. They promised us a $20 discount since we were ordering so many dresses. 2 of my BMs went back a few weeks later to order and they had NO record of ANYONE. Not the bride, and not a single BM. This store is an hour from us, so it was extremely difficult to get everyone out there. They also changed the shipping date so everyone was forced to pay an extra $30 for rush delivery. Never once did the store manager apologize for all these infractions, in fact she implied I lied about the whole thing. I would have taken my business elsewhere but two of the girls had already ordered their dresses so I was stuck. Anyone else that tried to order after the first 2 was so confused, since the store didn't maintain any information, even after I called back to the manager. This is the LAST thing any bride needs to worry about. Side-note: the dresses are ridiculously expensive and limited in selection. I thought David's Bridal was bad until I went here.

My experience as a bride ordering my gowon through Alfred Angelo has become a nightmare. The problems with the dress are bad enough, but the customer service is the worst I've ever had. My dress took 20 weeks to come in - I made numerous phone calls and just got jerked around every time. I left my number countless times for managers to call me back - but of course they didn't. I did get a manager on the phone at one point, her name is Tammy, and was treated like an idiot for questioning why my gown was taking so long.

I finally went by the store to check on it in person and was told that their 'system' said it had been delivered but that they couldn't find it. After making some phone calls the manager Tammy started looking through all the sample dresses, pulled mine out and said, "Oh, here it is!" as though it were perfectly natural for my gown to end up with all the other samples for tons of other women to try on!!!!! When I was shocked that my dress had become a sample, Tammy simply said, "I apologize, it was direct-shipped with no name, but here it is, it's not our fault."

When I continued to express my dissatisfaction, she simply stated that problems happen and that's that. She said she had no control of the dress being put out on the floor and that it didn't reallly matter. She did say that I could request a replacement dress, but considering I have my bridal photo session coming up, there is simply no time. I put in calls to Regional Managers, with no response. I've finally called the Retail Center here in Dallas to determine how they can rectify the situation. But bottom line - I spent a lot of money to be treated very RUDELY and like what happened was no one's fault. Tammy needs to be replaced as she has zero service skills and as she repeatedly made snarky facial expressions at me. She acted like my dress being put out on the floor as a sample was truly no big deal at all!! She seemed very put out by the whole situation and laughed while saying "I apologize, but problems happen." Additionally, she flat out lied to me, stating that she had never spoken to me on the phone before, calling me the liar!!!!

DO NOT GO TO ALFRED ANGELO!!!!!!!

Rude! that is the best description for this place, what a shame, I am a big fan of the designer having the opportunity to buy 2 of their dresses.
The store is brand new, I watch the construction process, then they open, I think they hired anyone with a pulse. I had an appointment, which confirmed over the phone and they acted like their idol gossip was more important than customer service, the background music was on loud rap, and the "help" was more interested in the Fed Man than helping me find a dress. I pick out one on sale, samples were dirty, and torn, when I finally got a fitting room opened for me, they seemed as if they thought I would steal the dress, then when I asked about the sale, and other costs, like alterations, they lied and told me it would only run 10% of the dress cost, when in fact they send their alterations out and charge a mark up of 3 times the going rate, per item done on a price list. The idea is to make commission on both the sale and the alterations...really... dishonest and trashy customer service.

I am getting Married October 9th 2010. I went to Alfred Angelo because I really loved the colors of the dresses and the dress I picked out for my bridesmaids. From the beginning to now coming to the end THEY ARE THE WORST STORE IN THE HISTORY OF BRIDAL!!!!! They have messed things up 7 times now starting with having the wrong wedding date in there. We had to have them change that 4 times. Really?!?! I have 2 girls who live out of town so harder to come pick up they told one yes you can call and pay over the phone and I can come get it for her! Oh wait no you can't!!!! We have to have a release in order to do that can you fax something to us saying that you authorize that. We have tried faxing it over 3 times and not going through. Then when she came up they wouldn't even let her try it on because it is not her dress though we have put half down already! Seriously she lives in Houston you can even follow her into the dressing room she isn't going to take it! Then to top it all off they have COMPLETELY LOST a bridesmaids dress. Come on they show that the received it and even called us to come get it but on wait I'm sorry we can not seem to find it. We have spoken to 2 consultants and 2 assistant managers and we still have not got an answer as to where the dress is. They had the audacity to blame it on Fed-Ex and UPS. Um...I work for a warehouse and I know all about UPS and Fed-Ex your receiving department messed up not anyone else. We have to have her dress in less than 3 weeks. All I have to say is I am not paying for the dress period.

WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS STORE EVER!!! ALL OF THEM ARE HORRIBLE NOT ONE PERSON IN THERE IS ON TOP OF ANYTHING. CRAPPY SERVICE WITH EVERYTHING FROM EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This store in Arlington is completely unprofessional. It was my first and definately my last time ever going to this store. The service was horrible I was told they were too busy to even come speak to me when there was only 2 people in the store at the time. I did however visit the store in Garland and El paso and had the complete opposite experience..not only were both these locations extremely busy but they went out of their way to accomodate me in every way .

We had the greatest experience ever at the Alfred Angelo Bridal store in Arlington. We were there past closing time but instead of making us feel rushed, the entire staff helped my daughter decide between her two favorite gowns. We ended up buying everything from them.

Ascot has always been great when we have needed to get a tux for either a wedding or for the prom. They are friendly and helpful and we have never had a problem with getting the wrong size or style. They even were happy to take measurments to send out of town for another tux place to order for us.

This is the place to go for Men's Formal Wear. Their employees are the BEST. I used them for my wedding and they were completely helpful and everything was perfect until my wedding photos did not turn out and had to be retaken. I was so upset because I refused to ask everyone to rent the tux again, but Ascot helped me out. They pulled up everyones tux and worked with me due to the situation and I will always recommend them for every formal occassion. They are fabulous!

I need to get some collar extenders. The clerk was really rude when I asked for them. He said I should just go out and buy bigger shirts. I couldn't belive it! How rude.
