I lost a laptop in Ambassador Cab when I took a cab out of DFW. The driver was very honest and brought my computer to my home and it??s very rare to find such honest driver. I recommend anyone use this cab company.

My wife and three children caught an Ambassador cab at DFW airport on 07/20/10; she asked to be taken to an off-site Hertz location less than 5 miles away. Upon arrival, she realized that the driver hadn't turned the meter on, but she was still charged $35 (we later learned that this against Texas State law, & the ride should at that point have been provided free of charge). This particular cabbie then had the gall to stand with his hand out for a tip - my wife, tired from a long trip, more concerned about the 3 kids & her luggage (& frankly initimidated by this man), gave him a $2 tip: $37 to travel 4.7 miles (Google Maps) . The front office dispatcher/reception provided nothing but bad attitude in seeking resolution, & Jamal, the general manager, has banker's hours, whom I'm still trying to catch up to after trying for the past week.

I had an early flight on thursday morning, so to make sure I did not get late I booked my taxi with this company and gave them more than twelve hours. In the morning just 20 minutes before my pick up time to make sure that I had my taxi, I called them again, and shockingly the dispatcher told me that they don't have my name, so probably the night dispatcher might misplaced it, but she will sent a cab and I don't get late, so no worries. after 20 minutes, I called them back, and she gave me a telephone number of the driver so that I could call and speak with him, and unfortunately no answer. I missed my flight and, when I asked to speak with the manager she told me that he comes office after 9:00....to my surprise when I tried to call and speak with the manager he barely speaks english, and he was so rude and finally told me to get off the phone. I recommend you not to use this cab company

I called to have my mother picked up and taken to her appointment at a hospital. I called the night before to make sure they had the time available. I asked if they took credit cards over the phone. The girl who answered said to call back in the morning because the morning girl knew more than her. So I called again at 8am, gave them my credit card information and scheduled a pick at for 12:15 pm. No one was there at 12:20 so I called. They said they were waiting for me to fax them my I.D which I had squared away with them earlier that morning. They said they would send somebody out and that they would be there in under 20 min. So they should have gotten there no later than 12:45....no, they got there at 1:45. My mother was late for an important pre opp appointment and I will NEVER use this service again.

My wife and I caught a cab at terminal E yesterday. After traveling for a month we were eager to get home. First one in the row was Ambassador cab number L262. When we started out the driver asked where we going. I told him Bedford. He said it would be a minimum charge of $24. I questioned this because I had never paid that much before. He said it was the minimum charge and it wasn't worth his time. I almost asked him to return the terminal and let us out, when I saw the minmum charge posted on window. It said $20.60 or the meter whichever is greater since the driver was obviously perturbed about picking up a short fare I decided to make his day. Since the fare should have been $20.60 and he charged $24 I considered the $3.60 overcharge his tip (16.5%) and thanked him for wasting his time. If ambassador is the company that comes up next time I'll pass.

One of their cab drivers ran a four way stop sign, didn't slow down, nor slam on his breaks, at full speed ahead totaled my car. Luckily, my daughter was not in my car with me when it happened and I am still alive.

I called this cab company a little after midnight on December 30, 2007 to take me and my spouse to Dallas Love Airport, as we were leaving on vacation. Dallas Love is about 7 miles from my house, and it has always been cheaper to take a cab, rather than park at the airport, especially for a week long trip. They agreed to my pick up time of 5am, and told me that if the driver got lost, they would give me a call.

At 4:55am, we were packed and ready to be picked up, when the phone rang. The dispatcher told us that we would need to get another cab service, and offered no explanation as to why they had cancelled.

We were forced at that last minute to call around to other cab companies to see who could pick us up. Luckly, I had planned on arriving at the airport in advance, as our flight did not leave till 6:50am. Otherwise, we could have risked missing our flight or having to park at the airport. I felt the it was rude for them to cancel our service only five minutes before our scheduled pick up. I imagine that they knew further in advance that no one would be available, however, they failed to give us advance notice.

I would NOT suggest this cab company of a scheduled pick up, as they are not reliable.
