We chose Heritage for our new wood floors as they have been in business for some time and seemed to really know what they are doing. They were very nice and customer oriented until we were scheduled for install. They came in and did the work over the course of two weeks. As we watched we had some questions and it was hard to find someone to talk to us. The crews that came in didn't speak much English and would refer us back to the store manager or owner. They were days in returning calls and answering questions. Meanwhile the crew kept working. We didn't care for the putty job they did prior to staining and they had put down several coats of poly before they finally talked to us about the huge gaps still between some of the boards. So they agreed to put in more putty and did it in the midst of the poly coats! When they finished, the spots with the new putty were lighter than the rest. It didn't look as nice as we would have liked. However, after being out of our house for a week for the staining and poly, we just wanted to return home again. Overall, it looked pretty good if you didn't look too closely.
We then struggled with getting them to repair damage to our wall where they had run their sander into it. There were three spots where they had crushed a corner. We decided we could live with two of them as the base molding would probably cover it, but the third spot (the worst one) was a foot up the wall. They refused to talk to us about the problem and said to give them a bill for repair. In the meantime, they did call us to ask about paying the final part of the bill. They were quite rude about it and wouldn't talk about the damaged wall whenever they were asking for payment. After a week or more of going back and forth they finally took a few dollars off the bill and we paid them.
Now, 10 months later the poly is peeling up at most of the board edges. We've been waiting for three weeks to get them to call us back to schedule a re-coat of the poly. They did send a guy out to look and he offered all kinds of excuses for why it would do that, but the fact remains that we have bubbles and peeling everywhere. We paid $9,000 for a living room, dining room, entryway and hallway to be covered with white oak, hand scraped and stained with 3 coats of poly. That's a heck of a price to pay and have it peeling up in less than a year.
If anyone decides to use these people, beware that if you have problems with your very expensive floors that you may have a hard time getting them fixed. So much for a many year floor! I do not recommend Heritage to ANYONE!

My wife and I decided upon Heritage Hardwood floors to install our hand scraped 4" Oak floors due to their # of years in business. Terry and Bob seem like nice enough guys and provided plenty of information while we were trying to make

Heritage just installed our wood floors a few months ago and they did a fantastic job! Our floor is beautiful! The crew came in and moved all the furniture and covered it up. The job took over a week to be completed and they complete it within the estimated time. They were very professional and the manager in charge kept us inform at all time. After the floors were installed and sealed with did a walk through with them to make sure everything is the way we wanted. Beside wood floors, they also install tile and marble.
