I have been with Suzannes School of dance for many years now and it saddens me to read posts like the ones before mine. I feel as though there have been many changes throughout my years there, all of them seem beneficial and intend to do good. I think the claims of "disorganization" are nothing short of an exaggeration, or even lie. Suzannes studio sends constant emails, at points even too many, in order to communicate payments, dates, and announcements. From my experience the only reason other parents may be "confused" is because they don't keep track of their own email inbox. Flyers and emails are constantly posted on windows, doors, and bulletins... At times the amount of information they give out is too much. Never not enough. This year they started doing auto-pay which has made my life so much easier. No more checks to write, possible late fees, or due dates to remember. The ballet classes are now structured with syllabus which has given concrete goals for my daughter Yo reach towards. They are clearly taking steps forward in the business. The teachers have been amazingly talented in the years i have been there. I have been particularly impressed with the Contemporary and Jazz teachers this year, the skill level of my daughter has definately increased. The ministry aspect of the studio is heard throughout the entire city, and from what I've gathered the company's do multiple outreaches in the area. No one else in this town is taking dancers to the lincoln center or S.O.S. Ministries. Clearly Suzanne knows what she's doing and has been successful at it for the past 19+ years and will continue to do so.

Highly impressed. Emails, auto-pay, and flyers keep me organized. My child loves her teacher (a college student) and enjoyed meeting Ms. Suzanne in the store where she helped pick out her new tap shoes. Great location, great studio spacing, overall.... I was impressed!

Very unorganized.
Last minute or no notice of extra practices and performances. Attendance is mandatory - better not have anything planned.
Near impossible to get information, website is not updated.
I love watching my daughter dance at recitals. Sadly Suzanne lectures endlessly at the recitals. She even dances. She should offer her lectures and dances as a seperate event for those that are interested: not to an audience held hostage waitinog to see their kids perform.
Very expensive to begin with, extra and surprise costs are charged weekly.
There is a wide range of talent with the instructors, and a lot of turnover. However, many of the instructors are very good with the girls as well as very talented instructors.

Suzanne's is horrifically disorganized and very hit and miss with instruction based on the luck of the draw of the instructor. They do not respond to email, have little office organization, and honestly, Suzanne appears at this point to be more focused on helping run her husband's carpet outlet and leaving the dance school to run on its legacy. The place may have continued to win "Best of the Brazos" but there are a lot of "stage mommies" that just drink the kool-aid and aren't paying attention. While I loved the idea of a their "Ministry in Motion" slogan, honestly the truth was more "Ministry of Chaos." We feel like we wasted a year of dance for our daughter. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This dance studio is amazing. It has definitely impacted my daughter's lives. Every year they hold an amazing recital, gala, and many more events. They have two groups for the more challenged dancers called apprentice abundance and company abundance. I would highly recommend this dance studio to anyone of any age, they have classes for people ages 2-200!

Suzanne's School of Dance is an amazing place to send your children, regardless of their age. They have classes for everyone, and once a year, they put on an amazing recital which involves all the different age groups and skill levels. They have Christian undertones in their teaching and practices, and the yearly recital usually encorporates the Bible in it's theme.
