I was not even sure they had bowling, what they have are fantastic Enchiladas I have been eating since I was 10 years old. Don't live in Austin and never try these Enchiladas.

I feel there's a conspiracy with Austin Bowling lanes that they all charge $20/hour. Even still, Dart Bowl is a pretty nice bowling alley. There's a dedicated eating area and a small bar. One thing that irked me is that when it's busy, it's nearly impossible to find lighter balls.

I like this bowling alley since it is not usually as crowded as some of the others in town. This bowling alley is a little smaller than some of the other in town and they do not have as many perks as some of the bigger bowling alleys. A plus is that they are actually nestled in a neighborhood and not in a busy part of town. Prices are competitive to other bowling alleys in town.

Dart Bowl on Grover is a great family bowling location. The Dart Bowl Lounge is also known for it's truck-stop style food. They have really great enchiladas. They alley is very clean, and the snack bar is cheap and the food is good. The parking is ample and it is easy to find right off of 2222 and Lamar.

Dart Bowl is located back in a neighborhood off 2222 and Lamar Blvd. Because it is so well hidden, it never seems to be crowded and there is always plenty of parking. They have a restaurant inside that serves decent, but greasy food for a really good price. The staff is nice, the alley is clean, and the prices are great(use coupons to make it cheaper).

I ordered chili fries and when they arrived, they were cold. I asked for a new batch and instead of bringing me new food, the waitress REHEATED THE FRIES IN THE MICROWAVE. When I asked for a manager, they said she wasn't there and that I needed to come back tomorrow if I had problem. I returned the next day to speak the to manager. She was very nice and offered me a refund.
Pros: ok bowling
Cons: cold food and rude cafe staff

This is the only bowling alley in Austin that I choose to bowl at. The service is always excellent and helpful. The lanes are always just right, and the atmosphere is very laid-back and comfortable. I truly love Dart Bowl!

Kudos to Dart Bowl! Their prices are reasonable (compared to the local competition), and the facility was clean and organized. From my initial phone call to the facility, to when we settled our bill, Dart Bowl's staff was the epitome of professionalism.
The gutter guards and televised graphics of the score are ideal for ensuring that children (as well as beginners) are able to enjoy themselves, rather than being frustrated by "gutter balls."
I would suggest that you arrive early, to avoid the crowd. When we arrived, there were only a few people bowling. By the time we left, the lanes were rapidly filling up with other bowlers.
Pros: Funny graphics, Reasonably priced, Easy to find
Cons: "Cramped quarters"
