Could not be happier. They are PERFECT in every way

This is an unsolicited critique of Sunbusters. Normally I will post a business or service if I am dissatisfied. But here, this company is so head and shoulders above the pack that I needed to share my experience with anybody who might be looking for a durable and attractive window tint/frosting.

From the detail representative Randy, to the technician Justin deployed to my home, to the owner Jason, I commend their great work and attitude. And they are fairly reasonalbe in price, not your typical rip-off outfit that populates this world.

I needed a tint on an odd shaped window in my bedroom, to help keep that room cool from the southwetern Texas afternoon sun. And I needed a frosted "artsy" film for my front door so that passers by could not look straight through the plate glass and see me in my birthday suit. The job was first class, and I have received many favorable comments about the expertise and good looks that followed.

But, even more amazing was the service after the sale. The window tint in my bedroom looked like it might be bubbling, and so Jason sent his detail rep, Randy to check it out, prepared to schedule a redo. But, Randy discovered that the bubbles were actually dirt on the ouside of the window. He pulled his collapsible ladder out of his truck, sprayed the high sitting window with windex, and proceeded to clean the offending marks off the window and fixed the problem. I don't know any company that would show such due diligence without charge, and with a smile, to their customers.

Sunbusters is as good as they come. In these days of greed and abrasive behavior this company is "a Ten out of Ten"! I gladly recommend them and will use them again, as needed.

I have been here multiple times because they have always gone out of their way to help me and if they couldnt get to me that second, I was always greeted and politely told I would get waited on in a few minutes. My last visit on 5.4.2011 was of no exception. I brought in a remote that a buddy gave me and the gentleman behind the counter was happy to help me sync it to my cars alarm at no charge and knowing I didnt purchase it from them. The remote didnt work even after him trying for about 5 minutes so I was happy to purchase one from them and he was able to get that one working. I have also gotten tint put on my car and was very pleased with the work and happy they offered a life time warranty on it. If you are getting tint or alarm work done, these guys should be the first stop and last stop you will have to make.

I was tasked with locating a commercial tint company to come to our office and bid the job of tinting our office windows. From the first conversation with Randy, Sunbusters has been amazing. Randy understood my timeline and was extremely responsive to our needs. \r

When I arrived at my office on the scheduled install day, Robert, Thelbert & Gary were waiting at our front door with their equipment ready to start the job. All 3 of these guys were truly professional and efficient. They arrived at 8:00 a.m. and completed our job by 10:00 a.m., in less than half the time we expected! No cutting corners either, our windows look great. \r

Usually I don't write reviews, I am writing this out of my frustration. I saw all the positive reviews about this place and went in there and found out first hand on the average workmanship and on top of it if rude behavior. And they don't provide any courtesy rides too. Over all I have had a bad experience with these guys.

I read reviews on where to get my car tinted in austin and found out that Sunbusters was the best. I drove 100 miles to austin just to get this done.\r

On arrival, Mr. Cox welcomed me and showed me the different options available for tinting. I went with the Ceramic one. \r

Even though I did not have an appointment, Mr. Cox managed to squeeze my car through the queue (especially since I was from out of town). That is what I call great customer service! I could see the car being tinted from the transparent glass seperator.\r

As a photographer, crystal clear quality and a balanced color are critical...both in my life and my work. This is what Sunbusters gave me in the best quality auto tint with the most perfect application I've seen with 12 vechicles in my tint past. Granted, I had to drive 70 miles to get to them but it was well worth it. I found the tint perfectly fitted to the windows and had zero issues...no water bubbles left under the tint, no hazing, simply no issues at all.

Great job Dave! Y'all keep up the good work and we'll be sure to keep you busy! ;)

Pros: Fast friendly service, professional results

The service and work at Sunbusters is extraordinary. They go out of their way make sure the services they render are up to par with your expectations. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They finished the tinting job on time and did an immaculate job. They hold up to their word and deliver the very best. I will take all my cars to Sunbusters from now on. If you need any tinting done on your vehicle, don't hesitate at all, Sunbusters is the hands down best place to take your car.

I took my 427 Edition Z06 in to have the windows tinted and the Ventureshield paint protection system installed. I am a self admitted perfectionist and found the guys at Sunbusters did a fantastic job. They were very knowledgeable in their products and weren't pushy like the competition. They told me my options and let me pick which way I wanted to go. They even stayed open late which allowed me to pick my car up after work. Great Business.....Highly recommended!!!!!!

I have been going to Sunbusters (over 10 years) since it was a little garage and this place has grown, for a good reason. Austin is know for its high tech and so is sun busters from CNC cut tint to concealed radar detection, nothing but the best quality and service, you can't pick this stuff up at Walmart. Keep up the good work guys...

Cons: Will not let me wonder around the shop (to check out the cool stuff) while they work.

I first used Sunbusters to tint my '00 Subaru Forester - the tint looked like new after 8 years. There were no bubbles or apparent fading. Since they did such a good job on my old car I chose to use them on my new one. We decided to use FORMULAONE Pinnacle Series since the car has a GPS unit (metal tint can interfere with reception). The tint looks GREAT - 35% is dark enough to cut glare and heat but not enough to impact night vision. I can see why the shop is used by the local Lexus dealer to do tint installations - the care and attention to detail shows. When the time comes I plan on using them again for my next car.

I've used Sunbusters on three of my vehicles and all three installations have been superb! I'm all about giving credit where credit is due, and when you've gone back to the same establishment over and over again with nothing but great results it's in your best interest to continue to do business there!\r

Words like affordable, courteus, efficient and honest come to mind, I highly recommend them should you be in the market for tint, car alarms or car audio. Give them a try if you're in the market or looking to replace that shabby looking tint job.\r

Pros: Quality product (short and long-term) and installation.

This review has been long overdue. I've been using Jason since 2003 for each of my vehicles. Each time the work is superb and the materials used are top notch. All the guys know their product from the tinters to the 12V Accessories guy. All the tinters that have worked on my cars since 2003 are still the same ones that do it today. That says something...Jason means business and manages his shop like he treats his customers - both employees and customers stay with him. Try finding that at other tinters in town. I Recently had a Viper alarm installed - had an minor issue with the remote and Jason fixed me up with a new alarm. Call them up and talk them fist if you are looking for tinting or 12v work done on your car. You?ll be picking the right guy the first time.

Pros: Professional knowledge and products

I own a Ford Expedition as well as a Honda Civic. Both cars have been tinted by Sunbusters, and I have been very pleased with their work. Their staff has excellent customer service, as well as a professional work environment. I also had Sunbusters install a DVD player in my Ford, and four years later it has never needed any maintenance. I will be purchasing a new car this year, and will definitely use Sunbusters once again.

Lexus of Austin told me that ""this is where you go if you want the good stuff and you wanted installed correctly the first time"". I got very good service and they installed my window tinting the same day. They do more than just window tinting. The sell and install high end car electronics such as dvd players, radar detectors, gps and the like but I just got tinting installed on my windows. Two thumbs up!

I recently had my Lexus IS250 tinted at Sunbusters in Austin and was blown away by the level of service I received. My car dealer recommended them and now I know why. They took the time to carefully explain the film choices and benefits for each. I chose the formula one ceramic film so it would not interfere with my factory nav. or inglass antenna and am very pleased with the results. The waiting room was WiFi equipped so I was glad to have brought my laptop. They quoted me 2 hours and were finished in 1 & 1/2. I was also impressed with the film plotting machine which cut the patterns for my car so that the tinters didn't have to. I will recommend Sunbuster's to all my friends and family.

I have been using Sunbusters for a number of years and have always been a very happy customer. They always are on time and anything you get is as described. Their are never any surprise charges and they understand what customer service is all about. They have tinted about 10-12 vehicles in my family and extended family over the years. We have all been totally satisfied! Recently I used their home window tinting service and was blown away at the difference it made in my home. We did the entire house and it has reduced my electric bill by 20%. Jason, Paul & Randy are awesome!! Thanks guys for everything. \r
