I've been with this credit union for a few years. Walking through the door, at the branch off of 2821, it is really nice. The lady at the front desk always greets me with a smile, other friendly staff ask you how you are. Then, you turn to go to the teller station. (cue the shocking, dun dun dun music)\n\nThere is a teller named Jenifer who is a complete...well, unprofessional individual. She always looks so dead and I get the feeling that I am bothering her. I avoid her if I am able to. \n\nAlso, There is a man there that is of high status. I assume he is a manager of some sort. Tony Nick, that's his name. The man is completely rude and sarcastic. I wish I could tell him to his face. \n\nOverall, I haven't ever had much problems with the institution itself. It's those two staff members that are not my item of choice.

SO, being from Huntsville, I have banked w/ CSCU for several years. I had several personal loans, as well as 2 auto loans, a checking, and a savings account. All of my loans were paid early every month, and never have I bounced a check or overdrafted my account. I guess thats why they try to make money off of me in other ways....\r\n\r\nEverytime I have financed a vehicle here, I ended up regretting it BIG TIME. When you have a problem w/ any of your accounts and you call for info, get ready for vague responses and a different 'answer' from every staff member. Nobody there has a clue what is going on, and you constantly get the run around. With both vehicles auto insurance was tacked on to my loan while I already had legal coverage (and had provided them w/ documentation of such on several occasions). With the first vehicle, after calling daily for about 2 months, the wrongful fees were removed. Now w/ my second vehicle, 5 months have gone by and nobody will give me any answers as to why these imposed charges are still on my auto loan. I had auto insurance to begin w/ but had my ins. agent send proof of coverage to this bank again and again and again. \r\n\r\nBottom line is this: This bank is money-hungry and will make an extra buck any way they can, if you bank here WATCH your account for wrongful fees! Good luck getting any of the staff to help you if you have any questions w/ your accounts!!! Personally, I'd rather pay double the interest rate at a LEGIT bank w/ people that have a clue!

Cons: IGNORANT, incompetent staff!

I have a checking and saving account at this Bank. They do pay interest on checking account. The staff is very customer friendly and loan rates are low. I would recommend them to anyone who is eligible to be a member
