Allen Veterinary Centre

We had to find a new vet when we moved to Allen last year. I came across this vet and was very pleased with the service. One of my dogs was diagnosed with an issue, and she was feeling back to her normal self within 24 hours. Very competant staff & caring doctors.

Pros: Friendly, nice & clean facility

The vets are good but the office staff and vet techs are terrible. I was about 15 minutes late for an appointment. Then I spent 10 minutes chasing my young lab in the parking lot when he slipped his leash. I wlaked in the door, told them who I was and was told "When do you want me to reschedule you for?" Not an "I'm sorry" nothing. Obviously not big on customer service. When I asked why I hadn't been called - she told me - I left you a message. When I checked my phone in the vehicle, sure enough she had left a message, while I was chasing my dog. To make matters worse, I asked for copies of rabies certificates for my dogs & they gave me a blank computer printout. I think the worst was when I was chasing the dog & 2 vet techs were standing there watching me - never offered a bit of help. I had to make this appointment more than a week ago & now they want me to wait another week. I'll find another vet. The vet is good, but not good enough to have to deal with her staff.
