I have been going here for years. To start with the lube shop is very professional. When either of my vehicles is in the bay i don't have to worry about anything. They have found leaks and broken equipment from other repair shops or other

Unresponsive to problem. I have been a frequent customer, but service quality has declined steadily. On last visit, the employee in swabbing the dashboard turned on the parking lights, seat heater and interior lights. I noticed the heater and interior lights, but not the parking lights as I never use the switch (automatic headlights). By next day the battery was ruined by total discharge, Sears tested and replaced under prorated warranty (42% into warranty), my cost $53 + 3-4 hours of my time. Spoke to the "manager" suggesting he compensate me with $53 in car washes, he said he would have to have his manager contact me, another hour wasted. I have not gotten a response in the time promised.

I brought my car in for an oil change and paid for an oil change, however, when I got home and checked my oil, it was obvious from the amount of dirt in it that it had not been changed. Just to be certain, my husband and a neihbor also

I drive from Milford to the Madisonville area for no other reason than to get my car cleaned at Rainbow. It makes my husband crazy that I drive that far for a wash, but it's worth it every time. It's a consistent cleaning that you can count on with top notch, one-of-a-kind customer service. The staff always brighten my day.

I have been using Rainbow Car Wash for about 4 years now, and every time I go there; I'm amazed at how these people tolerate idiot customers and their absurd requests. I mean, $7.25 an hour isn't enough to get someone out of bed in the morning. Heck, for $7.25 an hour, you couldn't even pay me to sleep. So when I see these folks having to deal with idiots who complain that the employees vacuumed up their lucky Cheese Puff or didn't remove the top of their engine and clean the head gasket, I really wonder how the employees manage to maintain their cool and go on about their business. Seriously, if I was out working a crappy minimum wage job in the heat and someone complained to me that I missed a spot on their tires, I would lodge a nine iron in their skull. So anyway, yep, this is a good car wash and they do a god job..here's something you might want to try, slip the guy who is washing your car five dollars before he starts on your car.

I moved to The Woodland in 1998, and of course was looking for a Car Wash, well I happened upon Rainbow Car wash and I have to says that i have been a loyal Customer ever since, what makes this place so unique is that every body is so friendly and well after going there so much you get to know the staff by name so i always fell comfortable being there, not to mention that the owner Mike Jang, is one of the nicest guys you ever want to meet, what ever complaint that you may have whether big or small Mike will indeed take care of it promptly. Kudos to rainbow Car wash keep up the good work Guys.

I moved to the Woodlands in October 2007 from Northern Virginia. I am very picky about my vehicles and their cleanliness and maintenance, etc. I tried several carwashes and lube facilities in the area and Rainbow is THE BEST!! Up north in the winter, there is always road-salt and gunk on your vehicles and I always managed to keep my vehicles looking great despite the fridged tempratures. I know about carwashes. RAINBOW tops them all and they are very well organized as well. Everything is done properly and expeditiously. Those who complain need to wash their own cars because they will complain no matter what, where, or who tries to do their job for them. -Randy in the Woodlands

This carwash has got to be the worst carwash i have ever had. I would not recommend this carwash to anyone... it would be nice if my car actually looked clean after leaving there for the 2nd time in 1 day... I hope they get better staff that know how to clean cars, although i will not be back.

I live about 2 miles from Rainbow and have used them, on average, about once a month. This is in spite of the fact that there's never been a time in the last 15+ years that my car has come out right the first time.

I know mechanical carwashes have their limitations, but in light of that, you'd think that they'd go out of their way to manually clean places that the brushes don't reach...like the top 2 inches of windows or anything protected by a road/wind guard. Instead, I have to request someone go back and clean these areas every time I go in. About half the time, I've also ended up taking my vehicle back through the vaccum station to get the stuff down between the seats and the console...although I must admit that they've been better about that recently.

I've had my vehicle fully detailed there a couple of times as well. The scheduler talked me into it the first time and said it would add about 30 minutes to my wait time. I was there for an hour and a half. The second time, I was smart enough to just drop it off and have a friend shuttle me back several hours later. Since then I've figured out that I get better (and longer lasting) results by having my car dealership do "make ready" detailing 2 or 3 times a year.

So why do I keep going back? Because it's convenient.

If I knew of a significantly better alternative within a 2 mile radius of the Woodlands Mall, I'd probably never set foot in Rainbow Car Wash again. (Why Bubbles Car Wash isn't in the Woodlands, I have no idea. It would make a zillion bucks.) Until then, I will probably continue to go to Rainbow.

As long as I go in with the understanding that I will have to be my own quality control supervisor, I can drive away with a reasonably clean car. Unfortunately, it also means that I will never feel like I got my money's worth and that...well...that just plain sucks.

It was terrible, I asked for one type of oil and they put in another. When I asked why my requested oil was not put in, they said they do not carry that type of oil. Then when I talked to Shane, the lube express manager, he asked me if he could put my requested oil in if he purchased it at auto zone up the street, then 2 minutes later he returned telling me that he could not do that. He then insulted me with an attempt to upgrade my car wash. He told me that I could talk to the gm when he comes back on monday.

Upon inspection of the car wash duty, streaks were left on my car as well as water spots. My petals were also slick, and settings for my seat were messed up. Also they had vacuumed receipts up that were in the center console that I needed for reimbursement from work.

I do not recommend this place for anyone that cares about their car.

Rainbow Car Wash is a full service car wash that also offers oil changes and state inspections. They do a thorough cleaning inside and out, including vacuuming. I have also used their detailing service and was very pleased with the job that was done. Look for their coupons on the back of some grocery store receipts or The Woodlands and Oak Ridge Band Booster coupon book to save money!

Rainbow is located on Sawdust near I-45. When you need the inside of your car vacuumed as well as having somewhat of a personal touch on wheels and mirrors, they do a good job. You can also purchase your gas there and even have the oil changed. The prices can get high depending on how much you have done, but if you just want the basics, this is a good place. They sell items inside for your car, such as cup holders, air fresheners, etc.
