Overpriced but good at what they do.  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Its defiantly for those with more money then I. Not to mention they can't get the pricing right to begin with. I got four different prices in less then 24 hours and that was AFTER I got my dog back. They are very nice but unless you have PLENTY of money and its no object then find somewhere else. It seems after looking at my bill that quite a few things they charge for are not totally necessary just look good to jack the price up further.

Wonderful staff and great care  5 Star Rating - World class

I have been taking my babies to East Lake for years. My dog goes to day camp and has so much fun. When he comes home he is tired because he has been playing all day. The day camp people are always watching over the dogs and playing with them. They stay with them all of the time they are out there. I have been to places before that had so many dogs playing and the person would leave them alone or ignore them. Not at East Lake though. The people are wonderful. The veterinarians and team are always helpful and take wonderful care of all of my babies. I would recommend East Lake Veterinary Hospital to anyone that wants their baby to have the best care and fun possible.

My Arm and Leg Are Gone!  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I guess I'm a little slow, but I'm really having some serious second thoughts about this clinic. I only went to this clinic because this was the orphanage that raised the dog I adopted and sponsored his care. After mutlitple visits with my pets, I'm being bled to death with their fees. Once my cat is done with his surgery, I'm never going back. A basic annual physical with rabies shot, heartworm pills, etc, for a dog typically costs in the neighborhood of $500.00. The tooth extraction currently being done on my cat is going to cost me $800.00. The actual tooth extraction on their itemized list is only $30.00 along with $47.00 for the anesthetic, and roughly $50.00 for antibiotics and pain killer. The rest of that is all kinds of diagnostic fees, nurse monitoring fees, Dr. observation fees, etc. etc. I'm never going back!

I love East Lake  4 Star Rating - Very good

Yes, East Lake is pricey. If you aren't willing to spend money on your pets, you are not going to be happy. That being said, I think the vets, staff, facility, and care given to animals is outstanding. Our dogs LOVE going to visit the vet. When our puppy had a serious, life-threatening issue, the vets were very helpful, answering our phone calls, responding to emails. I never feel rushed and we always get a lot of personal attention. When my elderly GSD had to be rushed in for an emergency euthanasia, everyone was so caring and compassionate. They sent a sympathy card and made a footprint cast as a memento. It meant a lot to me.

Best Place For My Pets  5 Star Rating - World class

As the old expression goes, you get what you pay for! The cost may seem high at first, but I get one on one time with my vet. I don't feel rushed in the room and my pet is getting excellent treatment and the diagnosis has been correct each time I have visited. The people are friendly and always show an overt interest in my pets.

PROS: Excellent care for your pets
CONS:

Good If You Have Money  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I found this vet to be very good but EXTREMELY overpriced! The hospital is nice and the doctors seem knowledgeable but only if you can afford it. If you cannot they are not interested in working with you but they will give you the number of a reasonably priced vet which to me is an admission of severe price gouging.
