Over the past week or so I have been in to numerous dealerships looking for a new car to purchase. I went into Moritz Kia of Hurst and was completely underwhelmed by any sort of attempt to earn my business. There was no hustle at all by the salesman and he acted almost like I was a bother to him and that my mere presence was keeping him from something important. I was interested in a Kia Rio, so I went to the Moritz Kia dealership in Fort Worth. Who would have believed that the service that I recieved in Hurst was better than what I received in Fort Worth. I pulled into the dealership and began looking at the meager new car selection, luckily some/most of the cars were unlocked so I was able to see what the interior looked like and the trim level. All of this was done without the assistance of any representation from the dealership. After about 15 minutes of looking at cars a salesman left his perch on the tailgate of a truck over by the service department and put out his cigarette and ambled over to me and asked if I needed any help! I saw these people as I pulled into the dealership and assumed they were customers waiting for their car from the service department. I informed him that I was there to purchase a new car that night, and I was, but since no one at this dealership had any inclination to try to win my business by showing me the respect that any customer deserves I would take my business elsewhere. I was still mad and disappointed by the service that I wrote an email that I hoped would be passed along to someone to at least possibly address this issue and perhaps help a different customer. I received an email from the general manager today and it was a freaking form letter!!! It contained the typical "Sorry to hear about your concern, I will address them, won't happen again etc.", but how bad is it if the GM of an Auto dealership has a freaking form letter to address upset customers. This was typical of my entire experience at both Moritz dealerships and my reason that I will never do business with any of the Moritz dealerships it is too ingrained in the dealerships culture to do only the bare minimum to make the sale. There is absolutely no striving for excellence or customer satisfaction, only do just enough to make the sale and that is good enough. I truely feel sorry for anyone who needs to return to this dealer for some service related issue, since I can not imagine how they treat people who have already purchased a car from them if they can't even bother to talk to someone who may want to purchase a car from them. My advice stay far away from anything having the "Moritz" name especially Mirotz Kia Fort Worth and Moritz Kia Hurst.

I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of service that I have received at this dealership. In early July I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and received nothing but exceptional service from the finance department and my salesman, Mike Cohn. I had been in the process of looking for a dealership that would offer the best amount on my trade-in, which was a 2003 Toyota Sequoia, offer me the best terms in regards to financing, with a specific target rate for my monthly payments, and to help me find a car that was in great condition that listed for a reasonable price. In the course of three weeks prior to walking into Moritz Kia Fort Worth, I had been to several dealerships (ranging from Fort Worth, Dallas, Rockwall, and Weatherford). So, needless to say, this was a learning experience for me. I did my research thoroughly on the value of my car, as well as how the entire process in buying a car (what type of questions to ask, fair listing price for your vehicle, tips on how not to get ??taken? by overly ambitious sales people, etc.) and went into each dealership with my goals prepared and focused on getting through all of the ??non-sense? that is typically associated with the entire car buying process. After visiting other several dealerships, and the ??non-sense? that came along with it, walking into this dealership was quite a breath of fresh air. When I got out of my car I was greeted by Mike, and as we entered the office I was graciously offered a bottle of water (since it was in the low 100??s outside) to drink. We sat down in his office and the first thing he asked me was, ??Tell me what it is you??re looking for.? And from there I proceeded to tell him what I planned to do with my trade in, what I thought was a fair price, what type of vehicle that I was looking for, and how much I was planning on spending monthly. We went over ALL of my information first, he didn??t try to sucker me in by saying ??Well, let??s test drive this car first?, because that??s how a lot of people get tricked! They test drive the cars first, and then inevitably fall in love with the car, and pretty much bend over backwards to get it. Once he had a clear vision of what I was looking for, we both set out to find the perfect car for me. And we did. During the financing portion, we had a couple of hiccups, Mike ensured that I was ALWAYS kept up to date as to what was going on, the fine details, needless to say, I was well informed. Even after the paperwork was completed, and we had a few details on the car that needed to be worked on (detailing the car, etc), he made sure that I had a CLEAN and FULLY GASED loaner vehicle. Overall, I have nothing but positive remarks for this dealership and I hold Mike Cohn in high regards. He is professional, maintains a clear line of communication with his customers, and goes above and beyond to make sure that the customer taken care of. The key to customer retention ?? having ??satisfied customers? is not good enough, create raving fans . . . and that??s exactly what Mike has done. I made a fair deal on a used Mercury (according to KBB) which was LOADED with some options I did not even know it had. After driving the car for a couple of days and reading the owner's manual, researching online, and a stop by the Ford dealer, I found that there was an item in need of repair and another I had missed. I sent an email to Matt (the GM) and he agreed that those items should have been addressed prior to the sale and was willing to take care of them!!! Even though the sign said "No Warranty", "Sold As Is" , Matt considered my satisfaction as a customer more important than chasing every dollar in the sale. I am pleasantly surprised to say the least. I would bet that 99 other dealerships would have said "Sorry". As long as Matt is providing the leadership, I can recommend Moritz Kia of Fort Worth wholeheartedly.

Scott is a great person, got us a great deal and we would purchase from him again. however, the service department leaves much to be desired so improve it and don't be such con artists and then I can stick with you and buy from Scott again on our next car purchase otherwise, your competition will get our biz....just being honest.

They tried to telling me that the car is loosing oil and other things so they can make more money. But my car is not leaking any oil at all!! The bill to repair engine light and oil leak about 2000 dollar. I told them just to repair the engine light!
I paid for shut off the engine light 420 dollar.
2 weeks later the engine light came on again.
They repaired 2 time and 2 weeks later the light came on again.
I went there 3th time and they repaired again and 2 weeks later the same thing and always they change a part which is good.
I fed up and went to the Mexicans and paid 30 bucks they figured out within 10 minutes that the oil filter causes the engine light coming on. They changed the filter and everything was perfect with my car. No engine light comes on!!!!!

I am highly suspicious of the reviews on this page for Moritz Kia. Looks like the salesman have found it-notice the similiarity in stating "bought my car from a guy named...". I bought 2 cars here and the experience was average. The service was average until about a year ago, then it became worse than awful. They kept my care and damaged my transmission while fixing a warranty covered wheel item. I had to take it back 4 times and each they damaged it more. Finally after going to the top of the service (and not getting MUCH help) they took it to another dealership owned by Moritz and getting it fixed. There is not telling how much unseen damage has been done. Kia cars are great. What do you do when the you can't get them serviced?

I am highly suspicious of the reviews on this page for Moritz Kia. Looks like the salesman have found it-notice the similiarity in stating "bought my car from a guy named...". I bought 2 cars here and the experience was average. The service was average until about a year ago, then it became worse than awful. They kept my care and damaged my transmission while fixing a warranty covered wheel item. I had to take it back 4 times and each they damaged it more. Finally after going to the top of the service (and not getting MUCH help) they took it to another dealership owned by Moritz and getting it fixed. There is not telling how much unseen damage has been done. Kia cars are great. What do you do when the you can't get them serviced?

Just bought my third Kia today. Went all the way up to the Boreggo. Javier was an excellent salesman, very patient, made multiple trips to get keys in case my husband and I wanted to test drive other vehicles. Truth is, once we drove the Boreggo, the others were no contest. It was very busy this Saturday and took a while to get to finance, but when we got to Jazz in finance he was great. He had gone all day without anything to eat as we had, but he worked diligently and was the best person to ever explain the warranty and make it easy for us to understand. All in all, the manager, Javier and Jazz worked with us on the deal and I think we all came out satisfied. Keep it up Moritz Kia, we will continue to send others your way.

I bought to new cars from Javier. He was great with the enitre family. the only downfall with Moritz was Jazz. He had absolutely no people skills. I felt like I was keeping him from a hot date or something. not to mention I was called by Javier requesting things I had allready given to Jazz. After some digging Javier was able to find the paperwork. I recomend dealing with Javier but run if they send you to Jazz in finance.

Beware. Service dept. will try to get you to buy unneeded services. Called about getting coolant & transmission fluid changed. Was told they "flush" both systems as recommended by Kia. Per Kia, only drain and fill is required. If I had them work on my car, I would have paid $150 more than what was needed. I'm sure many people believe them and pay the extra money. Dishonest to make an extra buck!

As for the service department Fred was who I always dealt with when I would take the Kia in for service and repairs the people treated me very well.Troy even sent me a birthday card. It has been a year ago. My son is now looking for his first car and I will be sending him there.

I've purchased 2 cars from this dealership, one in 03 and one in 05. Everything was going great until about a year ago, when their service department began to go downhill. They just don't have the same level of customer service they used to.

I never had any problems getting any work done on my cars, and the people there were very friendly and courteous. Sometimes I would have to wait a while to get service done but I didn't mind, I just made sure to clear my schedule that day. Suddenly a little over a year ago I noticed they weren't really being as friendly as they used to be, and that's when their service began to decline. Now you need an appointment to get anything done. Just getting them on the phone is a nightmare, they keep transferring me and putting me on hold and when someone finally answers, they are in a hurry to hang up.

I tried calling three times today, first they transfer me to service department and nobody answers, phone kept ringing. I call back later: I keep getting transferred back and forth until eventually I believe they hung up on me. I call back a little while later and, after being transferred back and forth again, I finally get a hold of the service department, which promptly puts me on hold. Finally somebody answers. I explain to them that I am trying to reschedule an appointment and apparently they never even set it up in the first place! Then they claim they will call me back later today but I seriously doubt it.

I had a great experience buying my vehicles from them, and It's sad to see their service decline like this. If I they don't cal me back today and get everything straightened out I won't be dealing with them anymore.

I got my car from Jared back in June, he was real nice and got me top dollar on my old pontiac. Also 3 months later my car was fogging up my windows and I work during the hours that the service center is opened and because of all the bad reviews about central Kia I didn't want to take it there (which is closer to my work) So Jared said he would get me to work and pick me up so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Now what kind of company does that for their customer? I've already got the car and its 3 months later he could have just written me off but he didn't. Moritz Kia goes above and beyond for me. I am a woman and most dealerships just try to get our money and then forget about us.

I hate this dealership. The selling of the car was fine, but when it comes to service...forget it!!! You have to make an appt just to get your oil changed. And if you are female...you are an idiot!! I do NOT

This is a great dealership! I dealt with a guy named Omar. He was amazing! We went from car-shopping to driving out of the lot with our new Optima in a little under 2 hrs. That's amazing!
