David's Barbecue

Just returned home from Arlington to rainny Belfast Ireland.. Was 1st introduced to David's at the end of June, food looked a bit odd but the taste was out of this world. Returned several times before the holiday had to come to an end. Recomend everything on the menu, just wish he would open a franchise here in Ireland.

Great barbecue! Best I have ever had. I recommend the chopped beef with lots of the awesome barbecue sauce or the turkey! Both are world class and will keep you coming back for more! The service was wonderful and thecafeteria line set up was easy to navigate. I loved the potato salad and the free cheese you slice yourself. The decor and ambience was family friendly and I felt right at home.
The prices are reasonable and compared to the more expensive chain restaurants, the home cooked meal was more than worth the price when I was able to bring home enough extra meat for another sandwich!
David's Barbecue is a must eat for any real barbecue fanatic!

David's Barbecue is the best "Old School Barbecue" in Texas. The sliced beef is so tender you do not need a knife to cut it. The ribs are so tender that the meat falls off the bone. The barbecue sauce is true Texas. The sausage has just enough spice to make your mouth water. If you need sides then the mustard potato salad is a crowd pleaser. I love the beans, cole slaw and the potato salad. The meat servings are Texas size. The only beverage that does this meal justice is a big ice cold schooner of beer. Take my advice. Go today to David's Barbecue and enjoy this unique barbecue experience!

Nice family oriented atmosphere and a great value. My daughter loves Ribbs abd this place serves them up just how she likes em.Tender, sauce is outrageous. Must be some family kept secret!!

David s Barbqcue is really good, they give you alot of food and the price is reasonable. Usually we split a sandwitch plate between two people because there is so much food. You can slice off your own cheese and help yourself to the relish bar. It's a great place to get food for a party, they sell by the pound also.

PROS: You can enjoy a free icecream cone after eating.
CONS: The decor isn't much to look at but it is clean.

This is the only place I will eat BBQ. It always has great flavor and is never dry, and is extremely affordable considering the amount of food you get. Try the smoked turkey sandwich. Yum.

PROS: Friendly staff and great BBQ
CONS: Dead animal decor is less than appetizing.

David's is owned and operated by the Bryan family who have been famous in the Dallas area for many, many years. This is not a fancy restaurant - but the food is excellent. If you pick a side dish to go with your BBQ try the onion rings - they're great.
