BIKE O RAMA is out of Business and does not exsist any more. There is a new Business in this location called Bullseye Bike Shop who does great work and has an honest community serving business.
IF YOUR BIKE GETS STOLEN... THIS IS THE 1ST PLACE TO LOOK FOR IT!
From reading the other reviews:
"Sometimes, yes, he does charge for things that are a little questionable"
"Bike-o-Rama used to be the place to go if you needed service repair for cheap or parts"
"They carry a lot of brands..."
This place is a classic dump, you don't know what you are buying (cheap used parts... Hmmm I wonder where they came from?) Lots of brands (I'm sure UNT campus is their prime source)
Denton Bicycle Center is the oldest and the most respected bike shop in Denton. Go there for any and all bike needs.

Bike O Rama is no longer serving the community. It was overtaken by Prosperity Pimps proclaiming to be Religious and that they know something about bikes. LOL. Bullseye bikes is what they are calling themselves and the incompetence is obvious.Also...Bike O Rama Did NOT knowing buy stolen bikes and resell them. D.W. was an employee in 08 that was and still is buying and selling stolen bikes. Mark fired him as soon as he found out.Go to Denton Bikes or the Bicycle Path.

I don't care for people that hate on him. Sometimes, yes, he does charge for things that are a little questionable, like removing a freewheel or cutting your drops, but in the long run, he has the best prices around and knows what he's doing with bikes. He's hooked me up countless times and I thank him for that.

Bike-o-Rama used to be the place to go if you needed service repair for cheap or parts, and even mountain bikes for sale. However now Bike-o-Rama is in the business of bike thieving and then re-selling. The police have had many problems with this store, as well as me and my two roomates who just retrieved our stolen bikes from here. They were all 3 stolen and long gone, police reports were filed, when one of them turned up on the UNT campus. It had been resold through bike o rama to an unsuspecting student. When the police got there to look through the records to find the other missing two and to get the info of who sold the stolen bike to bike o rama, there were no records whatsoever, completely illegal, and my missing bike was being worked on in the back. The owner may not have stolen them himself, but he knows who did and sold known stolen bikes. Whatever you do, do not support this store. I recommend Denton Bicycle on Elm, the service there is great and they are very knowledgeable. The Bicycle Path off the loop is also highly recommended.

Bike O Rama is the place to go when looking for a bike- especially a mountian bike. They carry a lot of brands but Specialized is the one that I bought. The customer service is wonderful and they are so patient with you when you are trying to find the right bike. They know so much about bikes and the trails in the area. They carry a lot of biking apparel and other items for bikes. They have water bottles, clips, seats, etc. The prices are the best around and you can't beat the customer service. They are so much better than the large chain bike stores- these people really know what they are talking about when it comes to bikes and riding!
PROS: Great customer service
CONS: small store
