I can't imagine these complainers talking about the same Four Sons' I go to. They have been open for over 20 years in the north UT area and I have been going almost that long. Great hand finished shirts, always ready, super staff. My wife's clothes look great and very good stain removal when needed. they did a wonderful job on our daughter's wedding dress. The best.

Actually I want to give this store half star.

I went to the Four Sons' Quality Cleaners on 35st.The store offers both cleaning and alteration service.My jacket was returned with big dirty spots as if it was not cleaned at all. I have the sleeves of another brand new Ann Taylor jacket shortened. The sleeves were done so badly. They are not of the same length, and the edges of the sleeves are rough and dirty. The woman who altered it said it was the manufacture defect of my clothes, because she did not change the location of the two buttons on the sleeves. if I want to redo it, I would have to pay again. Actually, she was lying. The two buttons, one was sewed very nice which was original, the other was sewed rough with different kind of thread which was apparently done by her.

Do not go to this place, they cheap!

Stay away from Four Sons. They lost my scarf and botched alterations on a sweater. Then they tried to charge me for the correction of the botched alteration. They did not return my phone calls when I was checking on the status of the search for the lost scarf. Not once did they apologize. Not only that, they were rude to me when I expressed frustration with their service. I'm not sure how this place is still in business.

After doing business with quality cleaners: Since they opened. \r\n Four Son's Quality Cleaners\r\n9500 S Interstate 35\r\nAustin, TX 78748-1752\r\n I had taken in a few articles to be dry cleaned. We picked up the suit and other articles of clothing the following day and packed the suit in a garment bag to be taken on a business trip. When we arrived and I pulled the suit out to hang. I was about to remove tags from cleaners and noticed a huge 8-10 inch rip in the back of the pants. Not on the seam. When we returned we took the suit pants back to cleaners. The counter gal admitted that when I brought in the suit she had inspected it and it was not damaged. After been given the owners name (Eddie). We called and were told that ""It wasn't his problem"" Even though the employee tagged and hung the pants not noting his mistake. WHY? I believe it was because he ripped them and try to pass the mistake off. We are now having to file complaints and file a small claims suit. Wouldn't a reputable company honor the mistake and make resitution? Apparently not this company. \r\nDO NOT GO TO ANY OF the QUALITY CLEANERS!! NOT A PLACE OF HONORABLE BUSINESS.

Pros: IT WAS CLOSE EVEN THOUGH THEY DO A CRAPPY JOB*I ALLWAYS APPRICIATED THE WAY ANNA WENT OVER EVERY ARTICLE WHEN TURNING IN. ALSO IF SHE WAS AFRAID THE SRTICLE WOULD BE DAMAGED SHE WOULD NOT ACCEPT IT.

What a great place. I love old time Austin businesses and this one has been around under current owners since 1991.
I have used the Guadalupe store and the 35th street store and they are always very professional and friendly. They have stores all over town I am told.
When I got married they did a great job on my wife's wedding gown. Try it. You will be pleased.

I have used two different locations, Guadalupe and Escarpment Village, and found the quality and service to be excellent. Their prices are reasonable and the stains on my clothes are almost always removed. The one time I had a problem the redo was successful and free. I recommend them to all my friends. Sheran D

The staff here were rude to me and acted as though they were doing me a favor by taking my clothes. Even worse, when I got my clothes back, they smelled awful. DON'T give these people your money!

Four Son's Quality Cleaners on William Cannon and Brodie completely ruined my jeans! I took my brand new jeans for a simple 2' hem last week. I had the manager measure and mark the jeans with my shoes on and told her specifically if the tailer did not think she could do it with a wide 2' hem, just like the hem they came with, to call me and I would take them somewhere else because I didn't want them messed up! \r\n\r\nTwo days later I came back to pick them up and there were two unstraight lines across the bottom of the jeans, after much discussion and the manager agreed they looked ridiculous she suggested I send them back and she would have the tailer remove the bottom line and redo the top line and make it staight. So I came back the next day and they looked the same, she had taken the bottom line out but the black material was scarred so it looked like the line was still there. I had no choice but to take them since I needed to wear them that night. When I got them home and put them on with the same shoes the manager had measured them with they completely covered my feet!!!\r\n\r\nI went back today after the weekend as per the employee that CHARGED me on the day I took them home and spoke with the manager again and showed her the ruined material. She stated they did what I told them to do so they weren't responsible!! She refused to refund me for the cost of the brand new jeans OR EVEN THE COST OF THE SO CALLED HEM.\r\n\r\nI am so upset because I am a fair and reasonable person and they completely screwed me on my pants! The manager knows she is wrong because all along she kept saying ""I don't know what went wrong, she normally does good work"" yet in the end refused to take any responsibility for their actions!

This location was rude on the phone and did not show any appreciation for my business as a customer. The staff treated me as is I needed them and was just an inconvenience for calling about pricing.
Watch out for their prices as they do not charge what they advertise!

I brought in 2 dresses to be dry cleaned at the Guadalupe location and they both were returned with NEW and old stains. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. After agreeing to fix the new stains, I came days later only to find that the new and old stains were STILL there. DON'T EVER EVER GO! I would never trust them with my clothes. And on top of their inadequate work, they are extremely rude and difficult.

Make sure that you get you price qoute in writinng and prepay before they do the work. If not they will overcharge you like crazy and then hold your clothes hostage. They will not work with you on the price. After you get the work done, the ball is in thier court and their is nothing you can do. Plus there is always someone different there when you call or go in, so you always have to explain everything from zero. Try a smaller and nicer cleaner/alterator and you will be happy then working with this big offensive place.\r\n\r\nThe sign say serving UT students since 1965, how about ripping off UT students since 1965

This establishment has got to be one of the best cleaners I have been to in quite some time. They are very professional, and courteous. I did not have to wait and they assured me my items would be ready for pick up the next day and they were. That was refreshing!! Last place I took my dry cleaning to, lost one of my items. How does this happen?? I would take my things to a closer place, but I feel the distance is well worth it!!!

I don't take my clothes to the cleaners very often due to a bad past experience. I have to say that this cleaners is wonderful though. They do a wonderful job on my clothes/ beding every time. They are always done on time, and very friendly. They have been wonderful at getting out some nasty stains.
