There are some comments I wanted to address (I am a current member of NPC).

The church is multicultural. In addition to having a broad representation of Americans (asian, black, hispanic, indian, white etc), we also conduct one of our four services in Spanish.

I have been a member for over five years and I have yet to hear Pastor Bryan mention anything about politics other than for us to pray on them and study our bible regarding questions on how we should vote. Regrettably, I voted for Obama last election...as a member of this church.

For the past two years NPC has had a very active small group initiative. As we have continued to grow, we find creative ways for members to connect with one another as well as 'live a Christian life' on days other than just Sunday. They range from biblical study to interest groups to outreach ministry.

For those of you with Youth Group concerns, I would encourage you to contact the church and find out more about our youth discipleship training. Ask in particular about 'The Remnant'.

As for bad experiences or ones that have fallen short of expectation - If you have found a church home elsewhere, then I am glad you have found what you were looking for...however, if you are still looking for church to connect with, a church with a pastor that can make the Word come alive and make it easily understandable and applicable to today, then I would encourage you to visit again.

This Church is wonderful. It is not a money hungry, attendance hoarding place as described by one. It has a wonderful staff and Pastor. I used to drive over an hour to attend, and moved homes and jobs to be closer. The reason we are building a multimillion dollar building is because we need a new building, it's pretty simple. Noone is forced to contribute. God has blessed us, we try to operate in His blessings, and we give back to our community, if that sounds like "your cup of tea" then I'll see you Sunday.

I am shocked at the terrible things being said about this church. This is a fantastic, bible based, loving church. Youth group is incredible, my kids loved it. Worship, AMAZING.

I have some dear friends who atend this church. I wanted to come for a visit to see if it might be suitable for my new church home. After reading these reviews, I think I will pass and look elsewhere. I have a 10 year old granddaughter that would be attending with me and I would want her to feel accepted by the youth program. I don't want her to have a bad experience here.
Thanks anyway.

i think that Northplace is the besst church in the world!!! and for the people that have said bad things about our church, i think that you need to visit more often because i have been here since i was two and i have loved it ever since!!!
it all started when i was at wednesday night service. we were talking about the cross and forgivness. after worship he asked us to sit down where we were and so we did. he began to teach us the lesson for the night. after he was done he asked that everyone that had hurt and bruises in their lives to come by the cross and leave all of it on the cross and so we all did. he said that when you were done to just get up and start worshiping. a lot of people did and soon enough everyone was up but me, reason being i was not totally convinced that our God was really the true God. so i asked God to reveal Himself by having one of the leaders count to three. i told Him that i would not get up off the ground until i knew the answer to my question (Lord are you real?). i waited and all of a sudden Pastor Rusty said "On the count of three we are all going to just praise God with all of our hearts. One...two...three! and at that moment i knew that He is real and at that same moment the Holy Spirit filled me and i went crazy!!! it truely was the most amazing night of my life!!! Glory to God! God bless you!!!

I was kind of turned off when i went a while back.
the church is minimaly multicultural, and when I visited they were passing out information in reference to the election, which which contained alot of lies about president Obama.
That really turned me off.
Church is not the place to distribute your personal political beliefs,

This church is like many of the present day churches, the main goal is to acquire membership, I doubt that you would establish any meaningful relationships, because thats not really the focus. They will become whatever you want them to be to get you to come/join the church. When I attended the focus was on raising money for a multimillion dollar building. Just not my cup of tea, looking for something with more depth.

Pros: location

Cons: Not culturally diverse, and no outreach ministry for poor

I attended this church last Sunday, the Fourth of July weekend and several times in the past. It is a great church with a wonderful pastor. The sermon was so thrilling -- better than riding a roller coaster! I feel the Holy Spirit's anointing upon the pastor and church. I highly recommend that you go & experience God's Presence.

i went to this church for months and i experienced the best services ever there.i think the services with pastor Brian encouraged me to become the christian that i am today, and he is amazing.he is definitely spiritfilled to the max and i would recommend this church.i did kinda experience a not-so-good youth worship on Wednesday night though, i was just turned off by this weird tunnel thing that happened and their reluctance to let me leave. that's the only reason i took a star off

I was sad to hear what me 18 year old son had to tell me about the Wednesday night youth service. He was asked to go to church with his best friend and his girl friend. They were looked at and talked about from some group of kids in your youth group. They were made to feel unwanted. They decided to leave early so that they would avoid a confrontations . They were told that they couldn't leave, but they did any way because they didn't want any confrontations with these church youth. I'm very sad that this is how these youth treated these kids. They need to be taught that you love your neighbor not treat them bad and make fun of them. My husband and I have attended your church years ago. I would hope that the youth pastor would set this group of kids down and explain that if this had been a boy that wasn't a christian and was looking for God that he surly could have been turned off for good. These kids need to be at church to serve God not Satan!
