We had a house closing set up for over a week and they called us and left a message at 7pm the night before telling us they needed to push it back a day. Not because they were not ready, but because the loan officer had to go to DesMoines out of the blue. In a separate incident last week, we stopped and cashed a check and they called us and said they think they gave us back $1.00 too much. My husband always counts it. I was with him at the time and I remember seeing 3 one dollar bills which would have been correct. Not only do I not like them accusing me of stealing from them after the fact, but it doesn't instill confidence in me that they know what they are doing or how to count money. Seems to me that if they can't count money, maybe their drawer was off in the first place.

I would not reccomend anyone to use this bank. We had an account with them for just over 4 years. On one trip to the ATM we found our balance to be $20,000 more than what it should have been. Great you say! But it should have been a clue to us. After they fixed the $20k deposit mistake, we found over $1500 to be missing from our account. They say it was never there and we cannot prove it besides showing them our check book records, which they dismissed.

Besides stealing $1500 from us, they denied us a $500 loan, even though our credit was spectacular and we had already paid off 3 $500 loans from them in the last 2 years. All of a sudden they changed their policy and cannot give loans in amounts less than $1000.

Although the location is convenient, the headaches you receive from this bank are just not worth it.
