This is our favorite dealership, this is our third vehicle that we have bought here. Matt K. and Doug S. are Awesome, we use them every time we come here.

They know us and remember us each time we come here, which makes a big difference with us. Everyone here in every department makes us feel welcome and takes very good care of us. That is why we will never go anywhere else.

Matt made me feel comfortable. He was very down to earth and made it very easy for me to trust in what he said. It is very hard for a woman to car shop alone, but Matt made it easy!

We were greeted in the parking lot and it was hot out there! They offered my family and I cold bottled water when we came in. I knew what I wanted however I appreciate the salesman for taking the time to answer my wife??s questions and he was very polite and easy to understand. It was Robert Rhoads who met us in the parking lot and he introduced us to Pleasant Abraham who I had met on the phone. Pleasant had an emergency midway through our visit there and Robert took over for him. They both did a fantastic job. I used to be a front line tech for GM and I have to say these guys are good salesmen! Genna Harris was very helpful and a pleasure to meet as well. Thanks for helping us get our dream car!

I have agreed to the sales man Mr. Awin to purchase the care with 42,000 +tax and fees thinking the fees are such as inspection fee documentary fee , but I found out they are forcing this charges on me under fees pro pack and theft guard fee , I asked them to take it off and they told me is comes with it and I must pay it , a gave a check and trade in my old care worth 16,000 later after I went home with the care they told me I need to bring it back and have to pay 1,000 for tax on the trade in , how come they did not say this when I gave them my trade in and the title for it , and I have told the finance dept the title is not in my name but it is singed over to me , then after 11 days they sent me letter they have to file form 8300 which by law they need to do it before getting my cash. My owner manual it was in ugly plastic bag inside of Walt for it like any other deal. The purchase order was changed over 3 times , the money I paid for the care is not what I really paid they reduced the amount of the price unit and change my trade in allowance to where I only pay for the mistake for the trade in . I paid extra 500 in cash after I took the care home for some on mistake or they don??t know what they are doing. I am going to file complaints to BBB and other and give you the feedback about how Chevrolet dealer with customers I feel I have been over charged for the $500.00 I paid next day and $200.00 for pro pack and $99.00 theft guard before taxes, this will be my last GM vehicle I would purchase after this very bad experience I have had, my choice was Audi Q7, Mazda CX9, BMW X5, and Chevy traverse I guess I made the wrong decision by going for GM. Yes the Q7 and the X5 might cost more but you well are clear on what you are paying and what you get. No forced or hiding charges.

I visited Munday Chevy last week looking for a new Cruze. I saw the new car on TV and was very Excited to look at the new vehicle! When I came in to the dealership I met Joe. He took very good care of me we looked at the Malibu and the Cruze. About two hours later I was leaving in my new vehicle. It would not have happened if Joe and Mike (the guy that helped me with my credit) did not take care of me along the way.

This is my second experience with Munday Chevrolet and the entire van/truck buying experience was wonderful, especially this time around because I followed Keith Moore from Mack Haik Chevrolet and he is the salesman that sold me my Camaro. He was excellent then and even better this time around. I believe ALL dealerships can have salesman that appear to be scam artist but if you find the RIGHT salesman, just as I have in Keith Moore (I will continue to follow him if he decides to leave Munday), then I believe your vehicle buying experience can be exceptional!! With both experiences I have told him upfront what I'm working with as far as a down payment, if I have any trades and all the information
about those trades, how much I'm looking to spend and where I would like my monthly payments to be at. Both experiences all I had to do was walk in, pick out the vehicle I wanted, sign the papers (everything exactly as I requested) and drive away a HAPPY, HAPPY customer!!! I don't regret either deal I have made with Keith and I would recommend him to ANYONE I know and as far as I am concerned, he should be in a manager position, he's that good!!

Great job Kieth!!!

I had my Saturn serviced there after I got a factory recall notice. Without my permission, they put me not only on their email marketing list, but also on the lists of about a dozen or more other dealerships. Furthermore, the man in charge of web marketing has avoided me like the plague - I have left several voicemails for him since he is "never in the office". Save yourself the headache and overflowing junk mail - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

BAD, BAD, BAD, I CRIED for 1 hour straight while yelling at the used car finance mgr. He treated me like I was one of his salespeople! No respect! I walked in with financing of my own and my truck to trade in. They finally made me a good deal for trade and on a 2010 HHR I wanted. But when I asked to speak to Mr. Guevara to get the FINAL PRICE OF vehicle a trip to stare-downs began! FIRST, I was asked to go to his work area (not office) he was sitting behind a desk that is about 5'2" tall, and I mentioned that I was not going to stand ony my tip - toes to see him and that he needed to stand up. HE DID NOT AND DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE I HAD SPOKEN. HE SPOKE DIRECTLY WITH MY SALES GUY THAT WAS WITH ME LIKE I WAS NOT THERE. He gave my sales guy a number which he showed me and I liked and then I said "good" lets sign everything tomorrow after you clean the car. I was turning around to walk away with my salesman when I hear from behind the desk ( from Mr. Guevara) "HEY, HEY, HEY, YOU NEED TO SIGN THIS BEFOR YOU LEAVE" and all I saw was a hand holding up a paper. I said back to Mr. Guevara, "Hey, Hey, Hey - You may call me Mrs. W" Again he did not acknowledge that I had spoken. At this point I had it, I looked over the counter and looked right in his eye and said "is there somewhere private I can speak w/you?" Then he took me to his office and closed the door, did not ask me to sit, but he sat behind his desk. So I started discussing with him the value ot treating customer with common courtesy and he never spoke a work or apologized. THIS STORY IS NOT OVER - TOO LONG TO CONTINUE, BUT JUST A WARNING!!! WATCH OUT FOR THE USED SALES DEPARTMENT TREATMENT AT MUNDAY CHEVROLET!!!!!

I applied for financing online and was approved, I talked to the internet sales manager Gene Wier to make sure the car I wanted was still available, and he assured me it was. I got there and requested to see him to finish the paper work and drive off with the car I wanted - but to my surprise, Gene Wier(manager) told me the car I wanted was in fact not there, and had not been there for 2 weeks. He totally got amnesia on me, and pretended not to remember our conversation. He went on to say the car was off their web page for 2 weeks and I couldn't have possibly saw it on their website! He went on to tell me I could not get financing for the car, then in the same sentence, he tried to sell me a car that was wayyy more expensive! I stood up and walked out, because I knew I was being jerked around and did not appreciate it. I went home and pulled up there web site and guess what I saw...The freaking car that I wanted! The one that He said was not in their inventory, and had been off their website for 2 weeks!!! To make matters worse, a different salesman in his department that did not know what was going on called me and said ,"hello I see your interested in our mercury, we have it here ready for you to test drive ...how soon can you come in to look at it"? This isn't even close to explaining my experience there, but believe me when I tell you it was a trip to the twilight zone mixed with a nightmare on elm street. Save yourself the trouble, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, YOU WILL BE CHEATED AND BAMBOOZELED!!!!!!!

The salesman seemed nice, the finance guy was helpful. But when it was all said & done, they were pretty shady. First they rolled the buyout on my leased trade-in into the financing, then they sent me a check for buyout amount so I could pay it off - but wait, "that was a mistake, don't cash that check!" "Oh wait, yes that check is yours, go ahead & cash we made a mistake on our end" Tried to reach the finance guy to understand what is going on - "oh he no longer works here." What a mess! They are incompetant at best & i'm sure scammed me by creating all that confusion.

We went to buy a used TrailBlazer from Munday Chevrolet and it was a horrible experience. We tried desperately to find out the final price of the vehicle. When we reached a deal with the salesman, he made us sign a (non legally binding) piece of paper, which was our commitment, to take to a manager to get approved. They made a counter offer not of a total price but in monthly payments. We told him we were not interested in. He then asked us to pull up our financing on the Internet so he could see our rate to see if they could beat it(and how much money we could spend)...We were GREATLY offended. We explained that we had a blank check and wanted to buy a vehicle now. He left again briefly, during which time we noticed that the line on the office phone was in use (Rodney, the sales manager's name was displayed) and it looked like they were eavesdropping on our private conversation (we could not confirm this for sure). So far, this process has taken over three hours... Finally, Rodney, the financing guy/sales manager came to talk to us. He was very rude and short. When I put my foot down and said take or leave our offer, the sales manager called yet ANOTHER manager to get approval, which they did not give. We asked for our credit application back, which Rodney literally grabbed and told us that it was their property and we could not have it back. We ended up leaving right then, tired, feeling dirty and used... I will NEVER step foot in Munday Chevrolet again! DO NOT BUY HERE!

I have been dealing with Munday Chevrolet since 1995 and I have never had a problem with them. Have always gotten good service from them. I have bought 2 cars from them Both are still running.

★★★★★

Professional Service: The person over the Internet Dept. (Craig Cole) makes the decision of buying a car a pleasure. I cannot say this about other dealerships. You know going in you are not going to be given the run around, you will be given the bottom line and treated fairly. I would recommend this dealership to a friend.

★★★★★

Was a great experience: It was a great experience. I was afreaid of going and buy a new vehicle cause it seems to take all day and they are like hounds but not there. Everyone was so nice and I got my truck in that day with no problems.

Went in to Munday was looking for a Silverado and they had just the one i wanted.
The sales people were very generous and respectful. Very friendly place to go! In fact me and my mom were so pleased with the service she decided to go back the next week and buy a vehicle of her own.
Will do more business with Munday Chevrolet in the future!

★★★★★

I must say that I did not have that negative experience at Munday Chevrolet. I went there with an ad looking for a particular car. While the saleman could not find that particular car, I did get the same deal on another car. I had every intention of buying that particular day. The overall experience for me was positive, but it is still a car dealership

We can't say enough good things about Arland and Mark. They are so efficient, yet "down to earth" people. This makes us feel comfortable and happy customers!!!! Also, Knowledge of our vehicles is so impressive. He is wonderful!!!

★★★★★

The process of buying this was quite "painless" thanks to our salesman and Mark, our financial manager. Both my husband and I will return to Munday Chevrolet as we have been doing business with them for about 17 years now.

★★★★★

This is the second vehicle that we have bought from Arland within 2 months. Our sales person makes buying a vehicle fun & easy. He is so professional, yet personable.

★★★★★

If your dealership continues this level of service and more importantly, honest, straightforward, no games sales, you will continue to be successful. When we recieve the GM survey we will give Munday the highest reviews possible.

★★★★★

We are very impressed with the sale and the service given to us by these 2 employees. The finance manager was exceptional as well, in his level of service. He was very efficent, listened to our needs and did not force us into anything we clearly stated we did not want. When we left his office we sighed with relief that the auto buying process was over and actually ended, without any aggressive or belittling tactics.

★★★★★

My husband and I have heard many poor things reviews about this dealership as well as negative reviews on-line. We were very hesitant to even consider Munday as an option, when looking at Buckalew and Parkway Chevrolet. However, after speaking with Scott M we decided to consider the offer he was making as well as coming to see the vehicle. He has Dan K work with us upon arrival, and we were very pleased with his level of service and attention to our needs. We purchased a 2010 crew cab truck 6/19 and are very pleased with it.

★★★★★

Thanks again for the great, professional service that you provided me on Saturday with the purchase of my new truck. I will definitely refer anyone that I know that is in the market for a new Chevrolet to you. Eric G.

★★★★★

Davis in F&I was very professional and informative by the various insurance add-ons and the other particulars in the contract. He also does and excellent follow-up.

★★★★★

Scott and Noel were supportive with the incentives and type of loan to obtain. They showed us how to save money by the various choices of financing. Interest payment vs. zero % interest down.

I see they are still their antics. Avoid this place like the plague! Reason I returned there is because back in 1995 I very great experience there buying a used Subura Impreza. In 2007 I needed an SUV or truck with a V8 to haul a trailer with. I found 2004 Ford Explorer that fit what I needed there online. I went there on a Wed night with my old Ford Explorer to trade in but didn't plan on walking out with a new vehicle. I knew my credit was not great and I was honest with them about that up front. I did not want them doing what Wiesner Dodge did to me let me have the vehicle thinking it was a done deal and 3 weeks later I get a call to bring the vehicle back they couldn't get financing. Well..Munday did exactly that and they were very damn pushy. They kept pushing numbers at me I needed to go get my kids from church it was late they were practically blocking the door and refusing to hand back the keys to MY truck. They sent me through the financing department I signed all the papers they said it was done deal to bring the title to my old truck to them the next day ..ok no problem. I went back next day and I handed the sales guy my title but before I let go of it I looked him right in the eye and asked him ..THIS IS a done deal RIGHT? No calls later I"m not financed RIIIGGGHT? He said nope it's all good it's a done deal. Well...almost a month..yes a MONTH later they called telling me to bring the truck back they couldn't get it financed. I told them that was BS what they did I was getting a lawyer over this they said if it wasn't on the lot by 6pm that night they were reporting it stolen. So my mom went up there she was pissed as all get out over this. I told them give my keys back and the title..well lo and behold they didn't have the title they said I never brought it in. I was LIVID!!! I told them to get that damn salesman back in there that walked off when he saw me pull up. He came in there and I said YOU tell them I handed you that title he said I didn't I quoted what I told him about when I handed the title. My mom called the GM of the dealership and chewed him out he was a total smartass to her because my credit was bad. They never found the title and we pretty much were forced to go ahead and redo the contract and sign it again and my mother as co signer which I did NOT want to do, but I was without a vehicle now so I had to do something. Told them to take another $2K off the price because the tires were bald on the truck so they did and agreed to put new tires on it..which was a joke they sent me over to TIre and wheel on Jones and had them put pull offs on the truck . Then they screwed up the paper work on the contract. My mom was supposed to be the co signer, they put ME as the co-signer. so now all the paperwork and credit goes to her. They threw on so much BS add on fees they got their money back on what we talked them down from. I should have just walked away from the deal when we saw all these little fees getting added on, but I had a business to run and I needed a truck and was not BS'ing with them anymore over the "Lost" title on my old truck. STAY AWAY from MUNDAY! I thought the crap Wiesner pulled was bad but Munday topped them all. I agree if NO stars could be given or NEGATIVE stars I would most certainly pick that..they are SCUM!

Pros: NONE

Cons: they lie and bait and switch

★★★★☆

I have bought several cars in my lifetime; some were good experiences, some bad. I went to Munday expecting to haggle and go back and forth with the salesperson and manager when buying my new car. I was wrong. I got a professional salesperson who was knowledgable and easy to deal with. I was at the dealership for less than 3 hours from start to finish. I have brought the car back for service 3 times now (oil changes, tire rotation etc.) and the service department has been great.

Pros: No hassles - Short Time Buying

Cons: None

★☆☆☆☆

This was the worst experience I have ever had!!! They misrepresented my loan to a company and then it was cancelled 2 weeks later....after they had already paid my car off. I took the truck back to them and told them to just keep the car they had paid off (owed 1,000 more than the trade-id). Munday convinced GMAC they had paid they car off in error and cancelled the check. Took my car back and gave them back their truck I had been driving for 3 weeks. They also took the license plates off my car, lost them, and then wanted me to sign an affidavit that I had lost them. I'm still waiting to see what they have done to my credit, which was very good before them. If you still go, check all paperwork carefully, as they will change the numbers, charge you more and then shuffle the papers fast so you don't have time to read them. DO NOT GO THERE - Can't understand why they are still in business. You would think with the GM bankruptcy, they would want reputable dealers representing them. I would give them a -10 stars but can't figure out how.

Pros: None

Cons: Rip Off Experts

★☆☆☆☆

I bought a car from them, had nothing but problems getting it and then nothing but problems gettting them to fix the little problems. they are the worst dealer

Cons: worst than 1 star

★★★★☆

I do recommend this place. I have to recognize that I had an issue with this car dealer but the problem was solved. The problem was that I the time I bought the car the sales person did not know the Chevy Traverse had to LT trims. LT1 that did not bring the Bluetooth system and other items and the LT2 did bring those items. He told me the car had the Bluetooth system but it did not, since it was an LT1. However, he told me they?ll install it for me, since it was a mistake.
The problem started when I was there several times and they failed to install the Bluetooth system for one reason or the other. I was really upset and though they were laying and playing with me. Then I when to talk to the person I should have seen on the first place the Director of Costumer Relations (Rosa Trujillo). She apologized and told me that she absolutely guarantee me she will fix the problem. I did no believe it, but she did as she promised.
For this reason, as I gave them a bad evaluation before, I am updating it for a much better one. I recognize I had a problem, but it was solved.

Pros: Good car selection

Cons: Not always directed to the right people to fix your problem

★☆☆☆☆

First of all, whoever wrote the 5 Star works for that dealership so dont let it deceive you.

This is THE WORST car dealership in the nation. BUT funny enough, one of the top 5 Chevy dealerships in the country. They do that by moving vehicles. Not total revenue. They do this by deceiving "customers" and using bait tactics that should be illegal. I have never met a more disrespectful, rude salesman in my life.

I went in to buy a Corvette. Had a $20,000 check for downpayment, etc. Told them exactly what I wanted and they had the car. They took the keys to my 2007 Trade In and refused to give them back until we did some "paperwork". I demanded my keys. Finally, the GM gave me my keys when I went to his office. He called a "reputable salesman" on the phone to negotiate the price of my trade to show me his "good faith". Funny enough, the guy he was talking to was in my view and worked for the dealership.

To make a long story short, he said the dont use any market pricing tools such as Kelly Blue Book..AND the credit scores that we as consumers get at Experian, Equifax, etc are incorrect and theirs is right. My scope was in the high 600s. The salesman continued to lie to my face on the price he told me just 20 minutes earlier and was just a rude, miserable individual.

So I thought maybe it was just a bad night and came back 4 days later. They raised the price of the Corvette another 1500 and wanted the keys to my trade again. Not going to happen.

It was a horrible experience and I will NEVER return there. No matter the "bait" they use next. Bill Munday has a horrible reputation in Houston and Austin. He is a man that cares about one thing and one thing only. Money. If he has to screw the consumer to get it he will. He has that big house on Lake Travis to pay for. And his large amounts of money given to the Republican Party. He's as much a liar as the staff at his dealerships.

Pros: Large Vehicle Inventory

Cons: Staff, Management, Negotiations, Customer Experience, Atmosphere

★☆☆☆☆

After reading the other reviews I see that I'm not the only person that has had a horrible experience with them. I went in January and was approved for a 2007 Dodge Charger. I told the Used Car salesman (Juan) upfront that I would not have the entire down payment until 3wks later, but I had part of it that day.
I drove the car off the lot and 3 DAYS later they started calling my references and demanding that I bring the car back. The manager told me that I should not have been told that but I could bring the car back until I had the remainder of the down payment.

Once that was settled, I had to resign my contract 3 TIMES because they put the wrong name and the wrong VIN# twice. My insurance agent began to get suspicious because I had to keep updating my insurance information with the proper VIN#.

To top it off, I later found out that the address on my phone bill was changed which made one lender kick my deal back because they assumed it was me that was falsifying documents.

I eventually brought the car back voluntarily because I have never received such horrible treatment or service. The used car staff are like vulchers. My salesman was Juan. He cussed at me and my supervisor overheard the conversation. The problems that I experienced with them in those few weeks was enough for me to want to report them to the news station. They are worse than the small dearlerships.
I wont refer anyone to anything that has "Munday" attached to it. The actions are clearly deemed as appropriate from their management team or they wouldnt allow this type of behavior to go on.

DO NOT BUY FROM MUNDAY CHEVROLET. Just to play it safe, dont buy from any MUNDAY Dealership.

Pros: NONE

Cons: Service is horrible and the sales team are a bunch of liars; Customer service never followed up. I wasnt allowed a copy of any of the 3 contracts that I signed.

★☆☆☆☆

I picked up one of those car sale ad books at a restaurant yesterday and saw a top of the line 2002 Explorer that was in my price range. I called the used car department and wanted some information about it. The guy whom I spoke to had a yes for everything "clear CarFax report, features, etc". He seemed suspicious to me, but said that he would see my husband and I out there to look at the car. About an hour later I called Munday back to check on the car. The new person I spoke to did not know anything about the car he said, he also told me that it was sold. I told him that the other guy said it was ready for us to come look at, he seemed puzzled. He offered me a Trailblazer that had less miles. I asked him how much? and he wanted 10, 500.00 He said he could go down to 10k and I said NO! I am not paying that much for an old SUV. I said that I would keep looking.

When I had visited Munday in 2006, while my husband was looking for a used Honda for work, I noticed that their lot seemed a bit mediocre. The cars were mostly all filthy dirty and I just felt uncomfortable there. I will not go there again.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: They lie about having cars and play on your emotions, also try and rip you off

Munday Chevrolet is the BEST...(and this is coming from a customer who expects a lot from a dealership)! I purchased a Tahoe from them and everything went smooooth! Very nice location...great showroom with professional employees. Huge selection. I've NEVER met a more personable General Manager at a dealership before who really cares about his customers and doesn't 'hide'. They are tops and I'll continue to purchase my Chevys from Munday Chevrolet!

Pros: Location, Friendly Staff, Selection
