When I arrived for my appointment, it was not busy and I was immediately greeted by both employees sitting at the front desk (I believe their names were Donna and Karen). They were quick to get my exam started. After my exam, I was assisted by Karen in picking out potential frames. While we were speaking, another employee (Cher) rudely interrupted and asked to speak with Karen, she made it seem urgent. They stepped into the back to talk. Mind you, it was not busy nor noisy in the office, and I could hear Cher chastise Karen for, what seemed to me, to be petty and hardly urgent reasons. I found this to be HIGHLY unprofessional, Karen was in the middle of working with a paying customer (me), which should be the highest priority for any business. After their "chat", Karen came back and was extremely apologetic. A few minutes later, I was asking Karen questions about my vision insurance as it relates to my current exam/glasses. I found her explanation to be quite satisfactory. However, again, Cher sharply inserted herself into our conversation and began to make things confusing. When I asked her for clarification (something I never needed from Karen), she had the audacity to tell me that she "didn't want to get into that". WHAT?! I am paying your office hundreds of dollars! I was pleased with the doctor, Karen and Donna. However, I will not be returning to this practice solely because of Cher, for two reasons: 1. She is highly unprofessional and clearly finds berating the employees to be more important than the customer's experience. 2. She clearly wants me to spend my money at their practice without being willing to explain the terms associated with it. My experience at OpticalZone would have been fantastic had Cher not been there. I don't know if she's there everyday or not, but I don't care to return and find out.

All I can say is WOW!! I've lived in the Dallas area for many years and have been to many different optometrists, but I've got to tell you that my experience at Optical Zone was like none other. Dr. Joshi and his staff were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I've never been to a place that did all the testing that this place did. The young woman who worked with me at first was very thorough and very pleasant. The doctor took his time with me and explained some changes in my eyesight. The optician really knows her stuff! I had picked out a couple of frames and she explained to me that they weren't the best look or the best fit for me. Most places would let me go with what I picked out just to get me to buy glasses. I felt no pressure to purchase glasses. When I checked out, my insurance was explained to me in detail. I will definitely return to Optical Zone next year and I will most definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.

The customer service of one of the office staff is horrible, horrible, horrible. Did I mention it's horrible? I've been going to Optical Zone for 7 years and each year the service gets worse. I keep going back because Dr. Campbell and Dr. Joshi are wonderful. They need to hire new staff and revise their pricing though. Karen is very rude both in person and on the phone. Don't ask her any questions because it's inconveniencing her. And definitely don't question the prices. She will look at you like your an alien and then have a rude tone that basically says "deal with it" while she coldly says sorry. Learn some customer service skills Karen dear! Go to a seminar...take a class...or just retire already. Believe it or not, in this skill set area an old dog CAN learn new tricks.
Unfortunately for the two good doctors, my business is lost. I will not be a returning patient next year because of the poor customer service of the staff.

If you happen to need corrective lenses be prepared for a 2-3 week wait for your glasses; when and if your glasses do arrive one might expect the staff to provide some service but they seem more interested in ushering you out the door.

My friend got some glasses from Optical Zone awhile back and I remember when she got them how cool I thought they looked. So I went there recently and the girl that worked with me was very helpful in helping me decide on which pair I liked best. Now I got a cool pair of glasses too. I usually wear my contacts but,I've started wearing my glasses more. I would really recommend this place.

When i ordered my glasses, they told me it's going to take about 5 to 10 business days. After 18 days of no calls, i called them and they told me that their carrier forgot to order my glasses and i have to wait 5 to 10 more days. DON"T EVEN BOTHER GOING TO THIS PLACE.

I just called to book an appointment for myself and two daughters - I work downtown and scheduling appointments is difficult at best. I was told they do not book more than two family members at one time so I would have to book on different days...the fact that I work downtown didn't help.Guess I'll continue my search, geez!

I have been a patient for nearly 10 years and Dr Campbell is one of the best. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. He listens to what you say, answers questions, and has a pleasant sense of humor. Go out of your way to visit him. You will be pleased.

My eye glasses broke recently and I found this place from a recommendation from a friend. This place was easy to find and had very knowledgable staff and a wide selection of expensive designer glasses to very reasonably priced galsses. I found my new glasses very quickly and with minimal sales pressure. The staff helped fit them correctly to my head and had them ready in a few hours. Will definitely recommend to others

I have been to optical zone many times for my eyeglasses. The staff was very helpful in getting an appointment for me at my convenience. The optometrist was patient and very detailed on how to care for my eyes. He suggested many options that were available to me. The staff took the time to answer any questions that I had. They also have a HUGE selections of eye-wear ranging from unknown manufactured (but quality ) glasses to items manufactured by Calvin Klein and others. I would definately recommend this place to a friend.
