I HATE THIS VET!!!! I took my dog to him because something was wrong. Dr. Pipes just looked at him and said he has Epilepsy. NEVER EVEN DID ANY TESTS! Gave him some meds for the seizures and later it turned out that my dog was diabetic. The seizure meds made him worse! I took him to another vet who tried to save his life, but passed away after a week. SHAME ON DR. PIPES FOR NOT DOING THE PROPER TESTING AND CARE OF MY DOG. GLAD I GOT A SECOND OPINION BUT AT THAT POINT IT WAS TOO LATE. NEVER SEND YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS GUY. I DON'T CARE IF HE IS THE LAST VET ON THIS EARTH!!!!!

My puppy was so ill a few months ago. Blood was all over, he was vomiting, he was lathergic, wouldn't eat... I called Dr. Pipes on a Saturday evening and explained what was going on. He told me to give him some pepto and he would call me the next day to see if he improved. Dr. Pipes called 8AM to check on Willie. His condition didn't improve so he told me to bring him in. Unfortunately, my puppy was diagnosed with parvo. We immediately started treatment on him and was told he would be there two days tops and told me that it would only cost a third of the price another vet quoted me. Dr. Pipes and Dr. Brown (who is also amazing) called me each morning and evening, and even allowed me and my children to go back in the sick area and visit with him. Willie had to stay for 5 days and even though Dr. Pipes should've charged me more, he only charged me the amount he originally quoted me before. I'm so grateful for both Dr. Pipes and Dr. Brown for their knowledge, education, and skills.

We took our dog, Chyna, to Dr Pipes when she was only about 4 wks old back in 1994. Here we are 18 yrs later and Chyna is still with us. She's a mixed lab and has been seen only by Dr. Pipes for all her shots and any other concerns. He's been a great vet. The past couple of weeks have been difficult as Chyna is having liver problems. She collapsed and had a seizure and we took her to be seen. She also has some kind of skin issue that we had never seen. Dr Pipes took her in and began treatments. He kept her for about 7 days and called every single morning and evening (including Sunday) giving us updates on our beloved family pets progress. We brought her home today! She's indeed better than when she was admitted, so with the help of Dr Pipes and much prayer she is still hanging in there with us. We're hopeful and want to enjoy her as long as we can! Because of great vet care we've enjoyed her for 18 years and counting!

Yes, this is the greatest vet clinic in the city! We have been going to him for over 20 years and will not take out furr babies anywhere else. Yes you do have a horrid wait every time. I've checked in as early as 6:15am and still had a 3 hr wait but it is well worth it. He is quite competent, gentle and willing to take as much time as you need! He is even willing to teach you some of the simpler techniques on how to medicate your pet. Not many vets are.

I had to take in my little girl last Monday because she was having some issues. Come to find out she must have jumped off something and hurt her back. Dr Pipes ended up keeping her and treating her for 7 days. He called me twice a day atleast and give me updates. My little daschund Tinkerbell passed away yesterday and Dr. Pipes truly was hurt. He did everything he could for her to save her and nothing worked. I called him back and told him I truly appericated everything he has done for Tinkerbell and I truly appericated him not giving up. I dont think anyone can be disappointed in the service at Country Brook Animal Hospital as I can truly say that Dr. PIpes is a very caring vet and cares about each and every pet he comes in contact with.

I've been to Country Brook since 1999. His sign reads "If love can't cure it an Aggie Vet can." It should read "If love can't cure it Dr. Pipes can". He's truly a miracle and has snatched several of my animals from the hands of death several times. Everyone raves about the staff and yes they are wonderful, but I'd like to say a few words about his Mother and Father who work there as well. The old apple and tree saying! His wife must be a Saint for all the hours he puts in at his practice. This man REALLY love the animals and we love him. Thank you Dr. Pipes, staff, parents and wife for sharing him with us.

We have been taking our dogs to DR. Pipes for at least 18 years. I have nothing but great things to say about him. Most recently, I had gotten my grand daughter a Morkie puppy. She and (Lilly) came and spent the night. The next morning Lilly was listless. I rushed her to Country Brooke. Dr. Pipes took her right away. After quickly addressing her, he kept her overnight. He updated me several times during the night and the next morning. He called later in the day and said she was full of her self again and to come get her. He saved her life and I am so appreciative!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pipes and his staff. He saved a kitten who was brought in to be put to sleep. The owner found her as a stray and was convinced she wouldnt it. However, she didnt anticipate Dr.Pipes years of experience. He kept her for a little over a week and had to express her bladder by hand everyday. Had it not been for the compassion and experience of Dr. Pipes my sweet kitten would not be here today. Im pleased to say she has made a full recovery and I cant thank Country Brook Animal Hospital enough. Go see for yourself I promise youll never take your animals anywhere else!

As first-time pet owners, we expected a little education, but got nothing. We waited for an hour back in one of the room even though there were only two people that went back before us. The dog we rescued had a spot of mange on her eye, so we were given Mitaban for it. We were told the dogs eyes would be fine with the diluted dip, so we didn't think much of it. After using it, however, I read about just how toxic this dip is to both animals AND humans. We weren't told to use gloves, keep our kids away, monitor her, or anything, and I am IRATE! Most vets do this in house and keep the dog for 24 hours and recommend not touching them another 24, yet, my husband was soaked in this stuff because we had no clue! My kids and myself (possibly pregnant) also got our hands in it while touching and petting her. Aside from being pissed that my family has put in danger, we weren't even told by an ANIMAL doctor just how dangerous it could be to ANIMALS. I will be filing a complaint with the TSBVME. Unacceptable. They gave me no pamphlets or information aside from a little booklet on care for the next year and my receipt. The ladies in the office aren't any better. When I called to ask they said, "Oh yea, you should've worn gloves....just don't DRINK it and you'll be fine...you won't die or anything." SERIOUSLY??? I want to share my story because these reviews are what led me to choose them in the first place. I guess all the 5 stars are for their low prices, but you definitely get what you pay for...

DrPipes is a Saint!! Our little buddy got sick Saturday afternoon. I took a chance and called the office at 530 and Dr. Pipes answered. I told him there was something wrong. He told me he had to be some where but if I could over right away he could see our Murphy Jack. When I got there he told me his abdominal wall had started to swell and it has already affected his heart rate. He feared it was cancer. He called me an hour later to tell me he had gotten his breathing under control and that he was going to run to his Human Society Christmas party he had to go to for about an hour and when he got back he would know more from the tests he was running. He called back at 1130 PM to tell me the only thing he knew to do was to treat him for a bad intestinal infection. He then said he would call me with an new developments. At 4 AM he called to tell me that he was gone. Do you know a VET that would call you at 4 AM to tell you that ? He stayed up all night to take care of our little buddy! If that isn't dedication, I sure don't know what is!!! I will be forever grateful to Dr Pipes for all he did for Murphy! I am so sad that he is no longer with us, but grateful he did not suffer in his last hour ! We will get another pet and we WILL be going back to see Dr. Pipes! He truly is a one of a kind!!

Dr Pipes has been taking care of my pets since 2004 and I have found him to be the most caring and amazing doctor. He cares so much for all the animals he see's and he understands what those pets mean to their owners. I recommend him to everyone I know and I am very thankful that I found him and that he has been able to take care of my 4 legged kids all these years. don't know what I would do with out him.

Last week our dog Jack (5yrs old)was injured due to a fall off a bed so we took him to Dr. Pipes. This was our first visit to the clinic so I was somewhat anxious. Dr. Pipes was so kind and caring toward us and our Jack. Jack was diagnosed with inflammation in his hip and back. Dr Pipes gave him a shot and some meds to take home. The next morning staff called to check on Jack to see if he was better. After a few days our Jack is back to his old self stealing food and running everywhere. I only waited 20 minutes to be seen and the cost was less than $100. We were very impressed and will go back. I have recommended Dr. Pipes to other people and will continue to do so. Thanks to Dr. Pipes and his staff for the care they showed us and Jack.

I took my beloved 8 year old cat Tiger to Dr. Pipes on September 3, 2011, yesterday, Labor Day Weekend. Tiger wasn't eating and seemed like something was wrong. I thought he may have a bad tooth. Dr. Pipes took one look at him and kept him for bloodwork to find out what was wrong. The office closed at 4 and I received a call back from Dr. Pipes around 6:30 that it was serious kidney failure. Dr. Pipes gave him fluids and meds and called me back at 9:30 p.m. with an update. Now Sunday morning, today, again Labor Day Weekend, I get a call at 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and the last at 1:30 p.m. with updates.

My poor baby didn't make it but Dr. Pipes spent numerous hours trying to save him and when he said he would call, HE DID!!!!

While I am totally heartbroken, I am glad that he was in the hands of Dr. Pipes. He is truly caring. He went from Saint Pipes straight to Heaven.

Dr Pipes is AMAZING & so generous & kind. You can definitely tell that he cares about animals above everything else. I can never thank him enough for taking amazing care of my dog & not giving up until he was satisfied with the results he came back with. He updated me often since I had to leave my dog there for tests & sedation. His staff is wonderful as well & was very helpful & understanding while I was a nervous wreck. He is truely is the best vet around in my opinion!

My dog was dying of parvo and Dr Pipes saved him. For 7 days he was in Dr Pipes care. I received daily phone calls with his status. Country Brook allowed me to keep my dog alive due to them caring about my dog and not my wallet.

Where to begin? I was a recently divorced single mom who went from having all the money to nothing and my 15 year old dog I had rescued from an airport 14 years before was nearing the end. Her knee swelled up and I thought I had hurt her by accidentally tripping over her. I gave it a couple days and decided I had to take her somewhere but could no longer afford my usual vet. I googled low cost vets and when Country Brook popped up I read the reviews. I took her in and Dr. Pipes simply touched her knee and said, "it's bone cancer." He then said, "I could do expensive tests and xrays but I can simply tell you it's cancer." He then proceeded to not charge me an office visit fee and asked what I wanted to do. He could tell I wasn't ready to let her go just yet so he said, let's try some meds. The total was less than $20 when I left. She did great for a few months. The next time I brought her in, he said it was probably time to put her down. He had the needle in his hand, looked at me and said, you aren't ready, let's try a more aggressive medicine. He once again charged me only for the medicine. I brought her in a week later and told him I knew I had to do it and that I was being selfish. He put her down so kindly and gently and I was charged like $17.00.
That man is a saint. His prices are unbelievable compared to other vets and he truly cares. He is the example of what a vet should be. I was a vet tech while going to college and the vet I worked for was the example of what a vet should NOT be so I know the difference. Dr. Pipes genuinely cares and doesn't do it for the money, obviously. I worked for a vet who did it solely for the money and status symbol and I can tell you that quality of care doesn't come with an expensive office and high prices; it comes with love for animals and a caring heart. Thank you Dr. Pipes for being such a wonderful vet and person.

Today is Christmas Day. I woke up this morning and my precious corgi was not acting like herself. Her lymph nodes were swollen and I had a bad feeling about it. Knowing Dr. Pipes office would be closed today I called another animal hospital which told me it would cost $90 for the initial visit. Trying my luck I called country brook animal hospital where Dr. Pipes has left his personal number in case of emergencies. I called him and he met me within 2 hours and saw my dog, she is not doing well and he is keeping her overnight. He is a great vet and I cannot thank him enough for making time on Christmas Day to care for my dog.

Dr. Pipes - where do I start? He is genuine, caring, and has a great staff. It is a busy place, but I see why. I have 1 senior dog who has been to numerous vets for allergy problems - Dr. Pipes solved his problems without the high dollar fee and numerous visits. I have a shih tzu, which thinks he is a 100 lb mastiff. He was playing with other dog, and his eye was almost ripped out. Dr. Pipes and staff saved the eye and in about 6 weeks, he was back to his normal self. I cannot say enough about this vet clinic. I am so happy to have found a place that I can trust. Thank you Dr. Pipes and Country Brook staff...

Thank you Dr. Pipes and Country Brook staff...

I could tell you everything Dr. Pipes has done for our rescue organization, but it would take up several pages. Besides, all these positive reviews below, speak volumes. His staff is awesome too. Seriously over worked though. That??s a lot of clients to take care of with a sweet happy smile plastered on your face all day! I couldn??t do it especially when someone brings in a seriously injured pet. Thank you Country Brook Animal Hospital for the long hours and the dedication to family pets and rescue organizations. You rock!!

Yesterday was my first time going to see Dr. Snipes and I loved him and the front staff. They were pleasant from the time i walked in until the time my dog and i left. Dr. Snipes is very knowledgeable and highly recommend him to anyone who needs a vet. I will definitely be bringing my dogs back again.

I have been going to Dr. Pipes for over 15 years as the owner of two American Eskimos living in Garland. When I moved to McKinney, I did not change Vets because I always had the utmost care for my pets at his office. My one dog was diagnost with rectal cancer. Surgery was recommeded right away in 2006, and my dog was healthy and doing great since then. Dr. Pipes always phoned the house the next day or two to check on my dogs progress if they had a problem. He is a great Vet!! Thanks to Dr. Pipes, my dog with cancer lived another 4 years, but passed away due to renal failure (not cancer), plus he was 14 years old. I still live in McKinney, and have another American Eskimo, and feel it is well worth the drive for the care my pet receives; plus his fees are very, very reasonable. You will find that his office is extremely busy, and especially on Saturday (no appointment necessary), so I recommend you go early if you prefer not to have a lengthy wait. Now that should tell you something if a Vets office is packed with anxious little critters...he has a great business....every day of the week! I have no idea how he manages to take a vacation, I just know is that he is a great Vet!! Betty German July 15, 2010

This is the first time I have done a review but after reading one that was negative, I felt the need to write in. I live on the other side of Dallas from Country Brook and it takes me 30 to 40 minutes for me to get there. I manage a very large business and I have very little time. It is well worth the drive and the time to go take my pets to Dr. Charles Pipes. It is a very busy place and it does take some time but I have tried the rest and I think Dr. Pipes is the best. I do not know what the bad review meant by creepy and such. I certainly don't know how a negative word could be said about Dr. Pipes except that he is an Aggie, I am a Longhorn. If you want the best care and you want to be sure, go see Dr. Pipes. jerry mattox

Please ignore the person who dumped on Countrybrook Animal Hospital and Dr. Pipes.

My name is Andy Herman (just in case that idiot thinks one of the staff is writing this) and Dr. Pipes is the absolute best vet in the Dallas area - period!

Maybe that person was turned off by the fact that anyone coming into the practice is asked to Sign-In. If they don't sign in, they won't get to see the vet.

Virtually every time I have gone to Countrybrook the waiting area has been swamped by customers. Why? Because Dr. Pipes is the best vet around, bar none. Most vets require you to make an appointment but Countrybrook is one of the Very Few vets around that doesn't require an appointment, so everyone flocks to his practice. It is also "first come, first served" so if you don't sign in they don't know you are waiting.

I had been going to another local vet since I moved to Dallas a little over 3 & 1/2 years ago.

My dog was "not right" and her left rear "knee" was swollen so I took her to that vet - it was on a Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn't have an appointment so they charged me an additional fee to have her seen. They x-rayed her and told me it wasn't anything to be worried about and "just take her home and keep her quiet". The charge for just the visit and x-ray was $170.00.

The following Monday morning she was doing much worse, so I took her to Dr. Pipes. My dog sitter had recommended him. I was there first thing Monday morning and Dr. Pipes examined her right away - within five minutes. I told him I had taken her to my regular vet that Saturday and they x-rayed her but said it was nothing. I told him the first vet said the x-ray showed some "blurring" around her swollen knee joint.

Immediately, Dr. Pipes said that concerned him since that was typically an indication of either an infection or a tumor. He gave her a shot of antibiotic and two prescriptions for me to give her. He told me that if the swelling didn't go down dramatically, to call him the next day - Tuesday.

Tuesday morning I decided to just take her in. As soon as Dr. Pipes examined her he said he was not at all sastisfied and asked if I could leave her there so he could take an x-ray, give her a steroid injection, and keep an eye on her. I said fine.

He called me later that day and said there had been no change in her knee and he would like to keep her overnight to give her another steroid injection and see how she was doing.

Again, I said okay.

Wednesday he called me and said the swelling had gone down dramatically and that I could pick her up that evening.

I went there Wednesday evening and was expecting a $500-$600.00 bill (I had transferred money from my savings to checking, just in case).

For the x-ray, exam, two injections, overnight stay and everything else the bill came to $156.00! I was absolutely stunned. (...that is also part of the reason Dr. Pipes is so swamped, every other vet around Dallas charges an arm and a leg for their services - as long as you make an appointment, otherwise it's both arms and legs.)

To make a long, sad story short, Dr. Pipes was right. She had osteosarcoma - bone cancer. She died a little more than a week after the first vet said it was nothing. I might add I called the first vet and they told me "I didn't see any signs of a tumor"!!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Pipes and Countrybrook highly enough. Yes it can get incredibly busy and the staff may get irritable once in a while because of ignorant people who want to be waited on as though they were at a hotel and expect to have a red carpet rolled out for them. (I might also add that I have seen many "minorities" in the office and all of them appeared to be quite happy to be there.)

Countrybrook isn't a hotel. You have to wait your turn.

They are open until 4:30 PM on Saturday, when almost all other vets close up at noon. They are open until 6:30 PM every weeknight and as long as you come in the door before 6:30 PM, they will stay as long as necessary to take care of your pet. Don't expect that from any other vet.

I have had the pleasure of spending my life with a variety of dogs for the past 18 years and in all those years, no other vet has come close to the care and concern of Dr. Pipes.

When we first took my cat Precious to Dr. Pipes I was sure it was just a minor infection. This was her 2nd visit to a vet in her 8 yrs of life, with the first one being 7 yrs ago. Since then, my cat had grown into somewhat of a recluse who didn't like many people or other animals. (other than a bothersome dog, who is also her best friend) So, we had no carrier and I was worried she would tear off and rip everyone up in the process. Luckily, they sensed this & took us back almost immediately. When Dr. Pipes came in & began examining her, I didn't know how she would react, but I stood there in amazement while she let him squeeze on her, knowing it had to hurt without even a flinch. He even pulled a couple of her teeth that were rotting and gave her a shot, all without her putting up a cry or struggle. She just keep looking up at him with probably the same amazement as we were. But this man knew within seconds of what was wrong with her & just how very sick she was. I was doubtful; (because its in my nature) how could he know this with no bloodwork or ultrasound? I wasn't convinced until later that night doing research on what he had said that I could see how very right he was. Actually, I think he had been overly optimistic, so as not to scare us & frankly I'm glad he did because otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to sleep for the 5 days we had to wait before the surgery. Precious had Pyometra, something that often happens to older cats who aren't spayed. He was sure it was minor & easily fixed by having her spayed. While everyone else were dropping their animals off for a routine spay/neuter, we waited. They looked at us oddly, like no one had ever waited before. It was an agonizing hour & half before Dr. Pipes came out to speak with my husband. It was actually much worse and had been going on for much, much longer than any of us had imagined. She had pus that had grown all throughout her female parts and probably gone on for a year or more. He was amazed she lived this long & with hardly a symptom.

The hour it was supposed to take just to spay her, was how long it took just to get all the pus removed. He wasn't sure he had gotten it all, or whether it had begun to spill out into her intestines. Frankly, he was shocked she hadn't succumbed to toxicity, or that she still wouldn't. Still, the fact that he went to the trouble to come out, before the surgery was even finished, to fill us in reassured us enough to finally go home & wait for her to come out of recovery. Seemed us waiting around, showed him that we weren??t going to go him until we knew our cat was ok or until we could take her home. (Actually, we had planned to stay there until we could take her home, or found it she would need to stay overnight.) We were relieved & pleasantly surprised when Dr. Pipes himself called us periodically throughout the day (3 times). When we were finally able to bring her home (Same day), it was a shock to look at her, as he had told us it would. Our 10lb cat had lost a few pounds, one pound of it was pure pus. Now, this isn??t mean to be a spay/neuter platform, but tears still come to my eyes even now (16 days later) thinking how close my Precious came to dying. The only symptoms she ever had, was to be a very annoying cat when she was in heat & in the few weeks before this event, a discharge that any of the other vets we called before calling Dr. Pipes, laughed off as something female cats do when their in heat. It was only when the discharge became a constant trickle that we took notice. Now, Precious is better than ever & was up, running & jumping sooner than any of us ever expected. Though, Dr. Pipes had told us that day that she was a real trooper and would recover brilliantly, & he'd be totally shocked if she had any complications. The only complications she??s had is to be annoyed with being bothered all the time by her worrywart owners who are still suffering with guilt over how they missed this for so long. Biggest thanks Dr. Pipes & his entire staff for their patience & understanding!

Dr. Pipes is the greatest Veterinarian in the world. He has a halo above his head. I would like to nominate him to be the Patron Saint of Pets! Thanks to a wonderful person and Best Friend to all our feline and canine family members.

I have known Dr. Pipes for many years and he has helped me with the joys of living with all of my animals as well as the grief of death of my cats and dog. He helped me care for my two beloved cats, now deceased, Fishy and Daryl, who both passed away at age 17. He also helped me with my beloved Dalmation, Dax, whom I lost when she was 8 years old. He has now been the vet for my present love, Sammy, for the last 6 or 7 years. He also cares for my son's Rhodesian Ridgeback, Scully. Dr. Pipes has answered my call at 7:00 AM on a Sunday Morning and met me at his office during an emergency. He will always call back to check up on the pet and parent. I recommend him to anyone, anywhere, any time. He is simply the best doctor any person could find for their beloved pets. I have always called him, "My favorite Doc". He's better than my own personal physician! You can always count on Dr. Pipes for the best care and personal regard for your pet. Georgia Burleson

I brought my little fox terrier to Dr. Pipes on 12/21 because she wasn't eating. He called me that night to say she was having kidney problems. He called me twice a day, some days were better than others but she died in her sleep on Christmas Day. When he could have been with his family he was calling me from the clinic twice on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The man is a saint. I know God will have a special place in Heaven for Dr. Pipes.

Absolutely the best vet around! Compassionate, reasonably priced, fair, concerned--we've lived in several cities and never liked a vet as much as we do Dr. Pipes.

Dr. Pipes is a saint. He treated my boxer for a abscessed anal gland on his day off, July 4th. I caught him out in the parking lot of the clinic, and he took her right in and performed surgery within an hour. He kept her all night and watched her. I was expecting a outrageous bill too, but it was nothing compared to what I thought. Just over 200.00. I will never consider going to some else for my pets.

Dr. Pipes and his staff are awesome. My dachshund was having back problems and we were going there once a week to have an exam and medication. He never charged me an office visit, except for the first time I took him there initially. He would always call me the day after my visit to see how my dog was doing. When my dog eventually had to go see a surgeon for his back, Dr. Pipes called me after I dropped my dog at the surgery center to see how he was doing. Dr. Pipes truly cares about the animals and not the m money. Most Vets would have charged for an office visit for each time they came in, not Dr. Pipes. I spread the word about Dr. Pipes to as many animal lovers as I can, he is AWESOME!!

Dr. Pipes and his staff are the best in the business. He is friendly and goes well beyond the call of duty to help his customers. He has saved the lives of a few of our dogs, and been with us when it was their time to pass on. The prices are more than fair. Get there early, lots of others know what a great vet he is!

Dr Pipes and his staff are the best, anytime day or night he is there. He always calls with updates on a sick animal, has been with us through everything from puppy or kitten shots to having to put a pet down. He is the most caring, knowledgeable, professional vet I have ever had the pleasure to know. I would never take any of my animals to anyone else. There are ANGELS among us and Dr. Pipes is definitely one of them. Dr. Pipes is a wonderful person as well as an awesome Vet. Thanks, Jane D.

Dr. Pipes is probably the nicest man, and most qualified vet around. He is the vet that you always hope you can find. He loves your dog almost as much as you do! Highly recommended, and VERY VERY professional. Perfect Vet, I will be sad when he retires

You can tell by all his other reviews but I just had to say it too, I love Dr. Pipes. He is wonderful with all animals. We have taken our pets to several vets and I have not seen one better than Dr. Pipes.

Dr. Pipes is without a doubt the best vet in Texas. He honestly cares about his patients and will answer emergencies even at 4am. His prices are the lowest I've ever seen. Great Vet!

I have been using Doc Pipes since he opened in '85. It started when I was living at home with my mom and she started using him. I have since grown up and now have a herd of my own. Dr. Pipes is probably the most caring and honest vet I have known. He has showed up at 3 am for us and has been there when we had to let pets go. He even remembers you outside the office as I have run into him socially several times and he always knows who my husband and I are. I would never use anyone else and to all his other customers and their owners, I have instructed him that he is not allowed to retire as the vet world would lose one of the best.

Dr Pipes is absolutely wonderful. We have known him and Dr Brown for 25 years and wouldn't take our pets anywhere else. He has stayed overnight with our dogs, if one is extremely sick he has even been known to make house calls. I had one bust her head open on a nail outside at 2am. A phone call to his house had him meeting me at the office 30 minutes later. Again he stayed the night with her giving constant updates. They are a rare find in todays world.

The office is always orderly and clean, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is great. I wish I still lived over in Garland because I miss them! I had a cat named Jimi, and sadly he was terminal by the time I found Dr. Pipes, but he was very helpful and eased my cat's suffering. Country Brook was the first place I stopped when I got new kittens and the bill wasn't too bad considering they were behind in shots, had ear mites and a cold. So, if you live in the Garland area, this is the place to go!

Doctor Pipes is such a great vet I would go no where else and I would NOT recommend anyone else. Last month my puppy was a victim of a horrible hate crime and I almost lost him, Doc Pipes was an angel and came through and saved him. I was so scared of what the bill was going to be but I couldnt believe how cheap it was, Doc Pipes and his wonderful staff gave me time and helped me with it also. All 4 of my dogs and my entire family love Dr.Pipes!!!!

I have been using Dr. Pipes since 1999 and he is an amazing vet & person. A few years ago my cat was poisoned and he saved his life - Dr. Pipes is an angel! He even took my cat home with him to make sure he made it through the night. I don't know many vets that would do that. He also keeps you posted if your cat stays overnight and someone from the office always checks up on them after you've taken them home. His staff is always so sweet and as a pet owner that means so much that you are leaving your pet with nice caring people. Now my whole family uses Dr. Pipes and they all feel the same. Dr. Pipes is truly a terrific vet!! Thanks to Vickie Donihue for recommending Dr. Pipes so many years ago.

We have been using Doctor Pipes ever since Country Brook opened and he and his staff are simply wonderful. You could not trust your pets care to anyone better. You can tell that he cares for his patients as demonstrated by his personal phone calls to check up on their condition after a visit. A world class practice!!

I have been using Doc Pipes since the clinic opened. He is the best ever. He always there. Will call you at home to check on your best friend(s). Will come to the clinic at 2am if he has to. He has always been there for my pets and yes even for us owners too! I have had what I call several peace of mind visits w/Doc Pipes and he is very calm and patient with the animals and us emotional humans!

As first-time pet owners, we expected a little education, but got nothing. We waited for an hour back in one of the room even though there were only two people that went back before us. The dog we rescued had a spot of mange on her eye,
