If you want a sew-in weave, hair cut and style done right, ask for Angel. I love my hair. She also does a french pedicure like no other.

I thought from the outside of the building that it was going to be another overpirced salon where you get told by the stylist that you don't know what looks good...exactly the opposite, this place is comfortable and relaxed without the big impression pressure. A place that you can get your hair shampooed and not feel akward. That alone is worth it..but they really know hair there too!! I love my hair now, Thanks to Maria!

Get some of this while they are still giving it away, Morrocann Oil is the best stuff ever! James did a spectacular job on my blow dry and my goodness his scalp massage is like taking a 5 minute trip to Hawaii! I recommend him to everyone!

I bought two gift certificates as presents - and was never told they had an expiration date. Who puts an expiration date on gift cards? Seriously? When my friends went in for the services, they were told they wouldn't honor any of the paid services. Apparently, on the receipt card that states how much you paid - they use the "date" as an expiration date and don't tell you it expires. I spent over $300 and the owner said it was not her problem, I should have read the fine print and looked on the receipt card. Who gives a gift card with the $ amount spent to the recipient? And who puts an expiration date instead of date purchased on a gift card. Owner related it to a coupon - "Coupons expire and so do my gift cards." I would never ever recommend this place. They are crooks and will lie about everything just to get you to spend money & they refuse to guarantee any of their services.

Sadly, my experience getting my hair colored at Touch of France ranks as the second worse experience of my 53 years. I specifically asked for foil highlights over the phone, explaining why and was assured there would be no problems and my stylist was very good at what I wanted. However, when I arrived, specifically told my stylist what I wanted, and after going to the back 3 times to mix my colors, my stylist actually talked me out of foil highlights (big mistake!) and into coloring my hair a darker blond and then doing very light blond highlights on top of that. I then warned her that if she used a color treatment with ash tints it would turn my hair a reddish blond, which I hated. Alas, when I left I was a redhead! I also could not see any highlights! It has taken two months to get that color toned down. I did write a letter explaining why I was not coming back in to get my hair cut and surprise, surprise never recevied a response! When will certain stylists learn to do what the customer wants and when will they learn to say I'm sorry for what I did to you?

Back in 2005 I went to this salon and got the brazilian sugaring by France for the first time and I loved it! She really made me feel comfortable and not at all embarrassed and the atmosphere was very calming and I did not feel rushed at all. She took the time to make sure she got everything off and I loved it! The only downfall is that the place is a bit on the pricey side, but I am willing to pay a little more for the great customer service offered here.

One of the biggest rip offs I have ever experienced. The cut and color were good but waaaay to expensive. If I elite rich, it may have been acceptable. I left $180 poorer for cut and color on short hair!!!!

I was told about France's Brazilian waxing from a friend, and boy am I glad she was recommended to me! France is AWESOME, super nice, professional, and just great at her job! I have been getting Brazilians for a couple of years now, and ever since France introduced me to sugaring... I don't want any other. Sugaring definitely is better than hot wax... no burns, no sticky feeling afterwards, and no clogged pores from the wax, which means, NO INGROWN HAIRS! Definitely recommend coming here if you would like exceptional service at a reasonable price!!

My main reason to go here is to make use of the services of Rukhsana. She is amazing! I've never had anyone that consistently does such a wonderful job. She does great with my cut and colour and is the ONLY person I have ever trusted to try new things on my hair! I've had some great new looks I would never have thought of on my own and get tons of compliments. I brought 3 friends here and they all love her too! She is very friendly and personable and honest about what she thinks will work or not on your hair. She is also VERY talented at what she does and has a great eye for styling someone. I have to recommend her highly!

Don't let your first impression get in the way. The salon is a bit oudated and I'm not sure I've actually seen anyone getting their hair cut there, but their hair removal service is a diamond in the rough. Dusti provides a service called sugaring which isn't commonly offered in most salons. If you're still getting waxed down there, you're missing out big time. I've been waxed at several different places and each experience is worse than the last (I couldn't get an appointment with Dusti before New Year's and went to Aqua Med Spa in Dallas and it was one of the worst salon experiences of my life). Sugaring is much less painful, takes less time than waxing and you're not left with sticky residue. Dusti does a really thorough job and still makes you feel super comfortable. And it costs less than most nice salons charge for waxing!

I was looking for a spa place to treat my daughter-in-law for her birthday. She couldnt go on Saturday, so I treated myself with a massage, facial and a revitalized hair "do". The hour long massage was pretty darn good! Stacie was very professional, and she sure did relax those tensed up muscles. Hands of magic!

The facial was fantastic beyond words! Dusti gave me a mini manual dermabrasion with crystals , a deep cleansing, and a bit of collagen around the eyes. Boy! Was it ever relaxing! Final results? I can really see a difference in my face! Lots of my wrinkles smoothed out!

My hair stylist Ronnie was just super!...she put stuff on my hair that gave it real body, styled it to hide the outgrowth (til I can get retouched), and made me feel like a "new me" when I left.

This place has unbeatable specials ( I got all this for the advertised special of $125) . It was approaching closing time and they did NOT start rushing so they could get home. The friendly owners take care of the front salon desk and make sure you feel special so you will come back...and you know what? I WILL !

I called to make an appointment with my favorite stylist, Eddie, but was told he was out due to an injury. I almost decided against making an appt with another stylist but the receptionist promised me that he could find another stylist to fix my hair just as well. I went to have my hair wash and blown dry - it took 2 hours and the stylist had to use a flat iron but failed to tell me until I paid that it was an extra $15 for a flat iron fee. Eddie never used a flat iron and was able to get my hair straight without it so I wasn't aware of the additional charge. I complained to management but the refused to refund any of my money and were exceptionally rude. They're foreign so they either don't have a clue what importance customer service has in this country or they just don't care about running a successful business built on satisfied customers. I've been there 4 times this year but will never be back. If anyone knows where Eddie is, please let me know!

As I said on other sites today,I had a bikini sugaring and a massage package yesterday and I am super satisfied! Dusti took care of my bikini area, eyebrows, and gave me a great facial and Stacy gave me the best massage I have ever had all for a great price. Great Staff and attitude, hair removal was much easier than hot waxing!

I don't know who the male massage therapist the writer before me is talking about because I have not see a guy massage therapist there in the year I have been going to Final Cut Salon. It seems very irresponsible to write a review about an event over a year ago at least.

I have been very satisfied and I definitely will go back.

Not sure if the gentleman is still there but I had a massage there one time and will never be back. The masseur made me very uncomfortable saying things like "Oh baby, oh yeah, that's nice". I've never felt so dirty in my life. I found out later that he had similar problems at another salon but the owners of Final Cuts never bothered to check references. The owners are also very standoffish. They're nice if you agree with them but if you have a complaint they immediately become defensive and rude.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Dallas for a few days, had enjoyed a wonderful couples day at a spa in Austin and wanted to try it again while there. He found the place...phone book, internet, I don't know...and made the appointments. Walking in the door it's clear this place is a salon first and foremost--a large open space with hair stations all around the perimeter with a couple of treatment rooms in the back. We got checked in and were taken to seperate rooms for our massages...no couples massage room. I was less than impressed with the massage and that the massage "therapist" (male, and I thankfully don't remember his name) started me face up and continually had to adjust the small towel drape over my breasts. I'm not a small chested woman, which he actually pointed out with comments like "[BF] is a lucky guy". At the time I didn't think he was grossly crossing any lines, but in hindsight, if I was uncomfortable at all, there was something to it. BF said hot stones were used in his massage, placed on the table while he sat up for him to lay back on. As he reclined onto the stones they were so hot he sat bolt upright and said they were too hot....France, herself, said they were the "perfect temperature for the body". They cooled slightly, he was able to lay back. One positive thing was as we were leaving we both went on and on about how great each other's skin looked, so the facials were worthwhile. But not impressed overall.

Pros: great result from the facials

Cons: they probably shouldn't use "spa" in their name, but I guess "salon" should've given us a clue.

I love to talk and visit with France when I go to her shop every 6 weeks for my Sugar Wax. She is always friendly and gets to me quickly when I come in. She takes her time with me and I never feel rushed. She is very dedicated to her job and it shows in her work. I would recommend the shop to others.

I'll write the same review here that I wrote on the other Yahoo! ratings page, I don't know about the hair technicians but I will never leave Dusti Seven as a client. Once you do sugaring, you never turn back. She has a great pace, and I'm completely comfortable and confident in her. I leave for school at months at a time and as soon as I get home - I go straight there, I won't let anyone else do my brazilians. She's the best!!!

At first they will test your hair and say yes this will work on your hair and they deal with this kind of hair often. But believe me do not trust them. The owner at first is so soft spoken but when it comes to unsatisfied customer then you will know him really well.
I had done CHI straightning and did not work on my asian hair at all. They charge eighty dollars per hour and take almost four hours for the process. You loose a lot of hair in this treatment as they wash your hair almost four to five times. I lost half of my hair. Its best to buy a good quality hair straightner and do it your self rather than spending time and money.

Apparently, their advertisement of specializing in "ethnic hair types" doesn't apply to natural hair of African origin. When I spoke to the guy on the phone and asked SPECIFICALLY about this he assured me that they deal with my hair type all the time..."we just had a woman come in with an afro last week" he told me. Needless to say, I learned the hard way how much of a lie that was! The guy didn't even know how to comb my hair...he gave me some blonde highlights and my hair is DARK BROWN!!! When I asked for a refund, he said that my scalp wasn't bleeding and I wouldn't be able to get any doctor to say that he had damaged my hair. Some customer service.... He even sank so low as to pretend he couldn't understand my English!!!

I did CHI hair straightning at Final Cuts in Irving, it took 4 hours for the entire process. Manny is the name of the person who did it. I was promised that my hair would be permanent straight. After four hours of treatment and loss of hair i was home. My son as soon as he saw me said "mom what happened to your hair, you have a bald spot". Thats the time i went to the magnifying mirror and he was right, my hair line was burnt with the chemicals used and there was no difference in my hair. My hair was as wavy as it was before the CHI straightning, no difference at all. I paid $320.00 for this treatment. Manny said he can do nothing about it. The owner offered me that he would do the Brazelian straightning for free. I did not want to have any more chemicals on my scalp so i told him i would call back and set an appointment. I came home and googled "Brazelian straightning" . If i were you i would google it myself and see the reviews and take a decision on wheather or not to go for brazelian straightning. As for me i lost my money and also got a bald spot on my hair line. I would never recommened any one going to Final Cuts.

I went in wanting a Brazilian wax done but Dusti suggested I try sugaring. Wow! So much easier and faster! By easier, I mean almost pain free! Hot Wax? Never again.

This is one of the few places that I have felt comfortable getting a Bikini wax job done. Dusti Seven makes me feel so at ease. I have had some very uncomfortable experiences at other places. It is not easy to let a stranger work on you, you know. She is very professional and made me feel comfortable from the very first time.
The price is right and I definitely recommend her to all my friends!

I have had several "sugarings" here and could not be happier. Dusti really takes her time and works at a pace that is very comfortable. Her facials are very relaxing.
I asked about the woman in the other review and I am told she no longer works there. I have the new stylist Eddie do my hair and he is the best. Very relaxed atmosphere. Oh yeah, my husband had a massage from Staci and is just going on and on about it, so now I am going to have to have one next time. All and all we are very happy and it is well worth our drive. Price is very reasonable compared to others I have had in Dallas.

Just moved from DC and I am very picky about my hair. I was scared that "Big Hair" was truly the Texas style. I gave "Final Cuts- A Touch of France" a try and was delighted with the results. If I can be totally pleased ANYBODY CAN. I am very particular about my hair and a stickler on professionalism. I like to feel extra special and relaxed when getting hair done. Roxanna is marvelous. She tamed my spiral lockes smoothing them silky fresh. I got many true compliments. So go get styled!

Pros: Great location across from LA Fitness in Irving: See website

Cons: Bright Lights

I met Fran (the hair stylist) in person on 3-2-07 and asked for a price to get the black color out of my hair and go with a red color (I had a picture of it). She said it would be no problem and that she would charge $110 for it.

I came in the following Thursday (3-8-07) and she proceeded to bleach my whole head. The bleach did not take and the black dye was still on my hair after an hour (about 66% of my hair is still black, just not the roots and not underneath). She didn't want to leave the bleach on longer so she took it out and proceeded to dye with red. The roots stayed light (almost pink) while the rest of my hair was varying shades of orange and red (and still black). She wanted to let me leave like that but my boyfriend convinced her to do another application to the roots. After that the roots were a darker shade of red (but still lighter than the rest of my hair). She applied a conditioning treatment and we couldn't see the final result before we left but she said to come back if we were unhappy. The next day when I washed my hair I was very unhappy. It was about 10 different colors and did not look professionally done at all. Fran indicated that she would call me on Friday to make sure I liked it. I never received that phone call. Saturday came and went and I called the salon around close of business Saturday to indicate that I wanted to come in and have my hair fixed because I was not pleased with the results. They set up an appointment for Tuesday at 5.

Tuesday 3-13 my boyfriend and I went to the salon again. Fran was exasperated and didn't want to touch my hair anymore. I indicated that I still wanted it to look like the picture (that she had told me she could do before) and she said that wouldn't be possible. She offered to bleach the hair again but said that it wouldn't do any good. We asked her if she had talked to the other professionals there and she said she had but no one had any idea what to do. At this point the owner knew we were irritated and frustrated so he grabbed another of the staff there, Manny. Manny did a foil bleach treatment on a part of my hair and the black appeared to come out. He then dyed it red and while it was darker than I would have liked he indicated that we could gradually go lighter and that the hair would have a hard time staying light now since it was so thoroughly processed. We said "OK, let's do this please" and Manny indicated that it would be another $100 for him to fix it. We had to argue with the owners, Fran, and Manny and they all refused to help us. My hair at this point looked much worse than it had when I came in. I was very frustrated and angry that my hair looked so bad and that they had initially offered to fix it and then refused when it came down to it. I left and went out to my car while my boyfriend continued to discuss the issue with them. The owners indicated that their normal price for color correction is $80 an hour, and Fran spent 4 hours on my hair on the 8th and she was to not spend any further time on my hair without further compensation. Our argument was "how is it our fault that she mis-quoted us?" She kept saying that we had a bad dye in my hair, and that we wanted to be cheap, neither of which is the case. The problem was she did the job incorrectly and didn't want to admit to it.

Eventually the owners agreed to throw a darker color on my hair so I can at least walk around without feeling like a clown. Fran applied the color and while it is better, I still have a ton of black color in my hair and I will have to repeat the bleaching process in another couple months. The roots are also still really bright even though we asked her many times to be sure the roots were plenty dark. I'm sad that I spent so much money trusting this company and they were clearly out to take advantage of me and did not care if I was happy unlike what it says for their mission statement on their website. The bottom line is I paid for a service that I did not receive.

The salon claims on their website to be "Color correction specialists" but watch out. I spent 4 hours there, my hair was bleached then dyed then dyed again and it looked like a nightmare. They said to come back if I was unhappy so I came back and they refused to fix their own mistake. They told me initially that getting the dye out of my hair would be no problem and that it would cost $110. That's what I paid and my hair looked 100x worse when I left the first time. We had to argue with two stylists and the owners to get them to just throw another dark color on top of my hair so that it looks halfway passable. I still have black throughout my hair (about 2/3 black) so I will have to repeat all this bleaching and dying again.
