Plano Day School

Plano Day School is a school which strives to provide quality daycare services in a clean and fun atmosphere. For example, the children at the school have the opportunity to learn academics everyday as well as go outside to play in the playground. The playground has many structures and is a spacious area so that the children do not feel crowded. Also, the ratio of teachers to students is excellent. The school always makes sure that there are enough teachers for the number of students present. The teachers strive to teach the children good habits such as washing their hands after they play outside and cleaning up the toys after they're done playing with them.

This facility provides a preschool curriculum and also a junior kindergarten and kindergarten, and they have an afterschool program, as well. They offer academic day, academic day plus AM and/or PM care, so you can pay for only the care you need. Their program is very structured, but they also schedule in adequate time for free play. My daughter started when she was 20 months old, and she loves it. She had never been away from me, but had no problem adjusting with the help of her super teachers. The teachers are all warm, wonderful, knowledgeable and professional, and the director and her staff are always available. She has music classes twice a week which are included in the price of her tuition, and a gym class 3 times a week, also included in the price. And of course she gets outside recess every day, as well. They also offer extracurricular activities for kids over 3, like karate, art, and computers. These activities are extra, but very reasonably priced, and they are conducted on the premises. I looked at a lot of options for care, but this was the only place I really felt confident leaving her. I highly recommend it.
