They are called CARUS Dental now. People at this dental office are totally unprofessional. I paid them a visit for regular cleaning 2 years ago. Really didn't like their sloppy attitude. They had to do cleaning in 2 steps. Fist X-rays, then cleaning. So I had to pay 2 visits. Cleaning was done sloppily. I was told by the dentist that all my teeth are bad and I need to do a dental work worth thousands. I changed to a different dentist and was told that I have extremely healthy teeth.
Never mind that.
I was fully covered at the time. I could do 2 cleanings and examinations yearly, fully covered by insurance. This people screwed up the paperwork, so that my insurance rejected the claim. Instead of contacting me they kept the file for 2 years and then sent it to collection!!! They had my cell phone on file all the time, and even though I moved, I left forwarding address and was getting mail sent to my previous address that they had on record. I have never received a call or a letter from them, till collection called me now, 2 years later.

Now insurance won't pay the claim, as it was 2 years ago, and it's past the time frame for submitting claims. Collection wants me to the bill fully. But they are charging me non-negotiated market prices, instead of insurance agreed prices, plus late fees. Why should I pay that?

Avoid this people at all cost, That??s my advice to you.

Longhorn dental has an awful reputation. It is run by people who know nothing about the dental industry. They do not care about their patients they care only about the money. I used to work for them and would not reccommend anyone go to any of their clinics. They run out good staff because of the way they treat them. All they ever cared about was the money and numbers. In fact one of the regional managers used to be a conveinence store manager. She knows nothing about the dental field nor is she qualified to run dental clinics. Any good qualified dental professional knows to stay far away from this company so I advise you to do the same.
